I feel like since episode 1 Sam’s slowly been loosing his mind going down a rabbit hole of infinite depth filled with things constantly shattering his reality until literally nothing surprises him anymore
@@Chubby_BubBut it also makes a surprising amount of sense as through that game, the daleks paradigm Ended up in a batman universe where they ended Is getting killed by lego batman
The conversation between 11th and 5th Doctor really touched me. Two different Doctors, with similar experience, talking about "choice" and "fate" of their friends. It's amazing to see 5th Dcotor came into conclusion that he should respect his companion's choice, even there is risk travelling with him, and he didn't have right to deny their choice. Last time I was such amazed by 5th Doctor is in Timewyrm: Revelation, where he suffered because he tried to persuade 7th Doctor to show kindness.
Watch, Sam puts out an April Fool's video next year, and is accidentally right on, like, 8/10 claims due to some comic strip everyone except the wiki forgot about.
Alway imagined Roger Allam (Peter Mannion in The Thick of It) as the voice of Omega. Can you imagine? *sees 2nd doctor Omega: Oh my giddy f**k Omega: is revenge a mature response, let me think, yes it is.
If I had doccy who, my third series would see the Doctor and co visit a Solar System in the far far future, colonised by humanity during The Great Nostalgia; each planet terraformed in the style of a period of history. Whole worlds with a Dickensian aesthetic, or French renaissance, or 1300s Japan. A mythologised memory of the past. It's a commentary on nostalgia, the way in which Doctor Who handles historical episodes, as well as continuity: _"We remember what we love, we forget what we don't."_ The 80s were fucked, man. Piss off if you don't see that.
Just finished the Dalek Universe boxsets, yknow what, even though the name doesn't make sense unless you REALLY know your doctor who stuff, I still enjoyed the stories, box set 3 was my favorite though, maybe cause I actually got daleks. However The Lost from set 2 was pretty good as well, I always like a good elder god story
I know im mega late to this, but I listened to Madquake yesterday. The suit Tegan wears is actually the therapist Slitheen's suit, and that is specifically said not to be made of skin. Wow... i know you as many things; a content creator, a writer, an impressionist... never took you for a fake fan though... (I luv yur work keep it up 💝)
Terry Nation has the right attitudes towards continuity, nothing should ever stop writers from getting a check from submitting the same story over and over. Moffat basically had 5 concepts he'd cycle through when writing so really he was just sticking to Dr.Who tradition really.
9:44 speaking as a Mcdonalds employee, lacking salt happens far too often whenever whichever person is forced onto fries can't be asked using the weird salt shaker they're given.
I remember that audio... So let's get this straight: 5 just abandons his team on a therapy world, nopes off to avoid them and the counselling while his team end up wearing Human Skin to stop the Slitheen... Also I was jumping for joy when 11 showed up, my favourite and done in a way that works for both incarnations in their respective periods. Brilliant!
I will never be able to thank Sarah Sutton enough for here costume choice in her last story and the fact she has said she did it for the fans makes it even greater lol.
He's referencing Gabby, a New Yorker companion from the comics, unless Brian the Ood had an artistic side... I'll cover all of 10s companion roster in the near future!
Maybe a broke canon about all the inconsistencies in the Target novelizations. Like Jo having a second first day in Doctor Who and The Doomsday Weapon, or the doctor landing in the tardis and randomly deciding to fix a teleport in The Sontaran Experiment.
I just finished Doomsday weapon the other day and had the same thought! I'll probably throw it in with the alternative take on Ian in the novel for The Daleks
1997- How is Skaro still around, despite being destroyed? War of the Daleks- The events we saw after Genesis and leading up to the end of Remembrance are a lie. The Daleks discovered future records of Skaro’s destruction, and hatched a plan to avert it since they couldn’t completely change the witnessed events of history: 1. Terraform the planet Antalin to look like Skaro. 2. Transport a hibernating Davros to Antalin. 3. Create the Movellans and a fake war as plausible reasons for needing to revive Davros. 4. Allow Davros to gain access to time travel, allowing him to travel to 1963 and seek out the Hand of Omega. 5. The Hand of Omega ends up destroying Antalin. 6. No-one ever figures out that “Skaro” and its Sun are suddenly in the wrong part of the universe, not even the TARDIS or the co-ordinates of a Time Lord super weapon. 2015- How is Skaro still around, despite being destroyed?” Witch’s Familiar- Davros: “The Daleks remade it”. And to think, the latter is Steven Moffat’s explanation!
Fantastic as always, love this series, good job man. By the by, I'm more than certain I'll get a ton of spam from this, but anyone recognise that truly gorgeous piano lounge song that's playing in the background whilst he's talking about Madquake? Love the sound of it, kinda wanna listen to it on its own.
It's like you've just thrown together a load of Dr Who-related creatures and 'Classic Who' throw-backs and made a video which doesn't make a lot of sense at first... but, as it goes on, it... well, actually, it makes even less sense. Oops - sorry... I was just in the middle of composing an email to Chris Chibnall about Part One of the new series. How did I end up here?
I feel like since episode 1 Sam’s slowly been loosing his mind going down a rabbit hole of infinite depth filled with things constantly shattering his reality until literally nothing surprises him anymore
LMAO, so true.
"Nyssa and Teagan have worn human skin"
God I love this show
It's brilliant
Don't all couples do this? Jk
A fact about Omega seems appropriate, given his creator sadly passed away today.
Are we ever going to talk about that time in Lego Dimensions when The Doctor met Batman, Wildstyle, and Gandalf?
Even just the Doctor Who content in that game is nuts.
@@Chubby_BubBut it also makes a surprising amount of sense as through that game, the daleks paradigm Ended up in a batman universe where they ended Is getting killed by lego batman
In Lego Dimensions, Sauron takes over Metropolis with the aid of the Daleks and Two-Face, his tower is literally atop a Dalek spaceship.

Doctor went to therapy to dump his mates off to get them help but not himself yeap thats very doctor
That's especially very Five.
Don’t worry, the moment he picked them up, they got dragged into another therapy place and they worked some stuff out
As an Australian it brought a tear to my eye hearing you so masterfully replicate my mother tounge
Canon is just a big ball of wobbly wobbly cannony bannony stuff...
just to let david and everybody else know that there is a huge torrent on getcomics that has a lot of doctor who adventures, including bat attack.
Ooh, I'll have to have a look.
At what point does Sam start making these up? And just slaps a 90s book on top of it? Just to see if it's any more ludicrous.
Watch, Sam puts out an April Fool's video next year, and is accidentally right on, like, 8/10 claims due to some comic strip everyone except the wiki forgot about.
That Ninth Doctor comic had a Slitheen wearing a synthetic skin suit to impersonate the Doctor, so I hope for Tegan's sake it was one of those.
Ah, yes, the origin of the "They're NOT Chumblies!" line, too. Good times.
Man, when RTD pitched The Ace Adventures in that interview back in the day, I had no idea it would be about this.
Alway imagined Roger Allam (Peter Mannion in The Thick of It) as the voice of Omega. Can you imagine?

EarthWorld is sort of like that.
In War of the Daleks, the Dalek Prime also claims Davros stole the designs for the Mark III Travel Machine from other scientists… Yarvelling?
2:56
You didn't...
How could you?!
I Trusted YOU!!!!
ACE: But Professor, what about the McLibel case? Is this ethical?
DOCTOR: We need this to stop the daleks. It's the only way.
ACE: Really?

I love how this was my birthday episode of broke canon.
DAVIS: gives me present

If slitheen can be therapists does that mean that Margaret slitheen became a crime seance autopsy lady in midsummer murders?

Oh dear. I remember that Ergon story. "Fool! You forgot the sodium chloride!"

Daleks doing a little trolling to gaslight Davros.

I remember hearing about Antimatter with fries as a younger
Who does 12 mean by the Arty one in that panel? Is he misremembering Amy as a 10 companion? Who of 10s companions was artistic?

Took me a while to realise you meant Marc with Adric2 and not a duplicate XD
I love Arc of Infinity TBH, just makes me want Omega back more!
Ooh, I see Mark Seven on the video thumbnail.
The doctor who monster invasion games might some lore if you remember them cards from early 2010s.

...or not, as it turns out!
Word Lord episode soon!
Omega and Rassilon were always better in concept than in execution. At least Rassilon got one decent interpretation in Timothy Dalton.
So did Gareth Roberts attack anyone's directly or in public what did he do to make everyone hate him?
Great stuff, glad I watched this today.
Next time on broke cannon: Rassilon goes to burger king
The other goes to Wendy's
the movellans sure are interesting
Top 10 Australian accents
Edit: OMG THE BARRY FACT I ALREADY KNEW
I see an error!
There’s an A missing.
Nyssand Tegan have worn human skin!
There’s needs to be another A!
Yay I’m here
I'm sorry but the way that space station turns in the intro irrationally pisses me off because of the directions getting mixed up
I am sorry, Adric 2?
the brand "Carex" is no longer canon I cheeked
i really really really hate f---------9ng canon it is just so very limited!
