Thank you. This is the best Christmas gift ever. Suzanne an acquaintance of mine. I went to school with her & I worked with her for three Christmas' at Babbages. Her dissappearance has always haunted me. The name tag wasn't a "clue" it was one was used to use that probably fell off & got push by the snow plows into the snow. I am beyond grateful that you're covering her case. I've been requesting it from bigger true crime channels for years now so thank you 💕

Georgia's is truly one of the best true crime providers. Always thorough, accurate information and she clearly empathizes with the victims and their loved ones. So sorry you lost an acquaintance, Angel. But her case is in excellent hands on GM's channel. (Ftr, my other faves are Stephanie Harlowe, They Got Away with Murder, Criminally Listed, heavy casefiles and Kendall Rae -- wish she'd make more vids but love her work with her husband)
Happy Holidays everyone. Stay safe and let's have a fantastic 2021!

Shouting ‘THANK YOU!’ to the bus driver is not only polite, but will more than likely imprint you into their minds. Female safety tip! (It always will brung attention to anyone following you, if you shout and people look up they’ll more than likely see the person(s) behind you)

I'll be honest, I dont take public transit much. Where I'm from, there isnt even a bus route close to my home. They're all close enough to the destination that I may as well just drive the whole way. I think they key is to shout it or at least be a bit louder so the folks about 4 seats back hear you clearly.

Amazing video as always Georgia! I just wanted to add because I am actually a current student at UAlbany, the walk between the Collins Circle bus stop and her dormitory on Colonial Quad is quite literally 30 seconds. It is an INCREDIBLY short walk, just a simple 50 foot concrete pathway. It would have been virtually impossible for her to have been forcibly taken without someone seeing or hearing her on the less than one minute walk from the bus stop to her dorm. This leads me to believe it is much more likely she saw or met with someone she knew and went elsewhere with them without drawing any attention, because there is almost no way for her to have been taken by a stranger on that seconds long, very public walkway with no one seeing or hearing the incident.

I feel like law enforcement should have kept an eye on Suzanne's boyfriend. Her parents already said that he had a controlling personality and no one knows what could be happening behind close doors. In fact the stalker could very much be her boyfriend keeping an eye on her all the time. Such a sad case, and so sad that her father died before knowing what happened to his little girl. Hope they find justice one day!

Georgia Marie! Thank you profusely for bringing this case to your channel! I had attended the University at Albany around the same time that Suzanne Lyall went missing, but I had taken a hiatus the year before she disappeared. It was a GIGANTIC missing persons case from here in New York State's Capital District area. Thank you for presenting this case to allow some of your viewers around the world to learn about this bizarre and intriguing case! Suzanne's vanishing was truly frightening, because apparently, she got off of the CDTA bus one minute, and then *POOF* gone the next minute! It is truly sad that it has been 22 years without one shred of evidence to suggest what happened to her!! I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!

Is it weird that her boyfriend says to her parents that she didn't come home, rather than asking if they had seen her/knew where she was. If he didn't contact her room mates how would be know she didn't get home, I know she didn't email him but that doesn't mean she wasn't home. X

Great job with this case - I hadn't heard of it before!! The ATM withdrawal seems risky, especially making only a $20 transaction. I feel like most culprits would take as much money from a stolen account as possible, and not risk getting caught over just $20. The stalker theory is definitely interesting, especially if they were trying to impersonate her by only taking the $20. Crazy that there wasn't any camera footage of the ATM - that seems like a liability!

Please could you look into the case of Jordan Burling who was an 18 year old vulnerable adult in the care of his mother. Jordan was severely neglected and eventually died of starvation, weighing less than 6 stone at the time of his passing.
Upon the discovery of Jordan's body, the remains of a baby, his younger brother, were found hidden in the home. His mother was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment for the manslaughter of Jordan and was released after two years in 2018.

I wonder about the circle of computer savvy friends. If Her and her bf could control each others pcs, I'm sure others in their circles could as well. What has me thinking about this is her pin number. She was abducted, killed, discarded, then her abductor remotely got into her pc and found her pin number. I don't believe the motive would've been money, I think it had to do with the stalker, and he just found her debit card amongst her things afterwards.

Exactly, it's such a shame there was no footage. Either it was Suzy doing the withdrawal or it had to be someone who knew she always took only 20 dollars and also her pin number. Even if the quality of the video wasn't that good, if it wasn't her, it wouldn't have left a lot of other possibilities. The bf is still really suspect with that "alibi" if you ask me.

Perhaps, the person "stalking" her was even her boyfriend and she didn't know it? He just gives off hella sus vibes😞

You're forced to take a right out of the parking lot, which sends you in the direction of downtown Albany on Central Ave. It would be helpful if they fixed the traffic pattern, or installed a light so that you could turn left to go uptown.

I wish this Karen thing would end. My deceased father named me Karen and I have now changed it because the stigma just won't go away. Even if I have to talk to the school about my son being bullied I cringe just because of the ridicule associated with my birth name. What a shame as a society we can use a birth name that a person had no say in to slander a person. I tried to stay light hearted about it but the repeated use of it and how opposite I am to everything it represents is offensive. I guess writing this comment is so Karen.

The circumstances call to mind two cases from here in Atlanta, Georgia, one of which Georgia Marie has covered. The 1965 disappearance of Mary Shotwell Little, never solved, was the case that caused me to discover this channel. I don't think anyone else on TH-cam has really remembered Mary, so when I looked her up she brought me to Georgia Marie's comprehensive and throughly accurate reporting. Mary had also apparently been stalked (or something like it) shortly before her disappearance, and her gasoline card was used later in connection with a purported final sighting of Mary. In 1988 the Mary Little case was brought back to local attention by the similar disappearance of Julie Love, which was intensely publicized with a local billboard campaign- HAVE YOU SEEN JULIE LOVE?- by her boyfriend, a prominent local businessman. Julie's disappearance, solved about a year later, also involved a small woman, walking alone at night, and the use of her ATM card at the time of the crime. Shockingly, authorities completely missed this extremely vital clue; her PIN had been entered incorrectly a number of times before a successful withdrawal was made.

An explanation as to why she withdrew the extra 20 dollars and her card was found at the car park, she could have taken the money out to buy weed and met the dealer at the car park. Even if this is something she hadn't done before it could be her first time and maybe was unlucky to come in contact with the wrong dealer. After all she had been stressed from her exam and maybe wanted to wind down and reward herself for doing well, she could have also bought weed to surprise her boyfriend with it. The dealer could have threaten her to find out her card pin before doing something more sinister to her and then use her card. I really hope this isn't true but she could have been trafficked by whomever she met st the park. It could alsbe the boyfriend though and he planted the ID card ther.
