Trains at Lancaster - 18/01/2019

Filmed on 18/01/2019. The second the final station of the day brings us to Lancaster (Season 6 Episode 2).
Sadly, the weather had turned for the worse as the rain turned into sleet. But, still managed to get good traction in an hours stint. No freight sadly again but freight was cancelled again was they might not have been required to run.

Hest Bank level crossing is a great place to go down and watch trains on this line speed past.

Have virgin got new trains for there services

They have yes. But its another change of franchise. Virgin Trains East Coast was managed by Stagecoach and they placed too much money on the franchise which meant Virgin Trains lost the franchise for East Coast.
London NorthEastern Railway is the new train company and they have new trains on test. Not sure when they are due to enter service the class 800 Azuma.
