Hi Addota, am planning to dig 15x20 feet pond on a paddy field. Almost all the paddy lands are clay. Water source/river is not near by but we have plenty of rain during monsoon. Winter is dry in my country till the month of May. Will it hold water during this dry season?

30 by 60 feets rectangular pond and 30 by 50 feets rectangular pond.

Hai my pond water goes to river near pond because pond bottom contains pure river soil .. so I put clay at bottom .but wat can I do at slope of pond also made of pure river soil. How can stop the slopes water seapage

Chanel your river at a straight line, then dig your sloppy pond to a balance level. Do not fill up with mud.

Excellent! Well done sir... I have a waterlogged land without stream around the area, but I constructed well on the land. It's sandy soil, I constructed fish pond on the land someone years ago, the fish grew very well within four months, but I later failed due to improper construction of dike and bagging.
