I got good news for ya buddy. Lotuses aren’t unattainable. They aren’t that expensive & in a couple years you’ll be able to buy one for cheap especially outside the UK. Once these are older than 2 years dealers sell them for a fraction of the sticker. I live in Indianapolis Indiana where Lotus has prestige but I discovered I could buy the exact same car for even less money if go to another state where auto racing isn’t a big deal.

I don't like how half the battery hangs out and the cables are just floating there. That needs to be tucked away to have a proper boot for storage.

Yeah Geely bought them, pumped money into lotus , this emira is the last internal combustion engine, before moving to fully electric. Sad in some cases, but a beautiful homage to pure manual driver experience [for those who chose the manual option]
