Good but i have a doubt what is difference between parent to child and child to parent but both component properties display through parent then what is the use of child to parent

Create a object car, car services, car accessory . Car service and car accessory are the child to car. Write a trigger to update the field on the car object “total expense” which will be the total of the car accessory amount and car service amount when ever new child is edited, inserted or deleted.
