Building A Honda Grom In 48 Hours..

- My 2018 Honda Grom, this little scooter is what started the channel. My parents, Alexis and I bought 4 in each color and went viral around the world. From a few basic mod videos and motovlogs it sparked my interest in making TH-cam a full time career and helped elevate the channel to where it is today.
That being said the Grom hasn’t gotten a lot of love the last couple years so it was time for a re-fresh. So in today’s video we strip it down to the frame and build it back up installing a few aftermarket accessories along the way. In total we installed new: brake pads, rotor, full Coffman’s exhaust system, EBC heavy clutch springs, integrated taillight, a clutch swap from my Dad’s bike, and a few other goodies.
This is the 48 hour Grom build in preparation for the Smokey Mountain Bash in Tennessee.

If you ask me the colors fit the channel vibes perfect, I kinda like the red accents! So Stoked for these Tennessee videos!! WOO! Lol Alexis's Bike looks super clean as well!

If you mount the exhaust on the swing arm it will fall off or be damaged. The rearset mounting location is separate from the swing arm

Just a tip put some high temp lock tight on the exhaust bolts or keeps spare nuts our group has constant problems with aftermarket loosening or falling off on rides I used lock tight never had an issue

Well the big bore kit is good for those who live in the mountain areas it’s good for going up grade that extra power keeps people off your tail

Stupid question, but what was your technique for laying your bike down without damaging shifter/pegs etc? Looks like you had it propped ona wood block or something? Any tips for placement of that?

That clutch change looks so easy! These bikes must be a breeze to repair!

Just make sure you blow everything off with compressed air / leaf blower. People worry too much haha

I hate how the exhaust runs threw the bottom of the bike cause off roading you smash the hell out of the exhaust pipe.
The exhaust is going to flex every time the suspension Flexes with it mounted to the swing arm

I guess TH-cam delete my reply’s..... they were not in nursing homes. They were young only one was old enough to be in nursing home. This is a socialist country for sure.
The fuel pump wasn't going back in because you smashed the oring down in the tank. I was cringing soooo hard watching that. You have to take it out and make sure it goes back ON the fuel pump 🤷🏼♂️
If you're not using your front brake you're doing it wrong. Your front is your main brake! Sooner or later you're gonna lock up the back & lose it or go barreling into some car door. Learn to use your brake properly.
