I think sometimes we become soo numb to all the baddassery in video games and media that we kind of overlook a lot of stuff, like it sounds stupid, but it just dawned on me how immensely epic The Dragonborn is, dude straight up absorbs dragons souls permanently putting an end to their life concurrently, then proceeds to defeat a devourer of worlds in two different planes of existence, dude straight up says no to a literal god, corrects half of a continent and then just dips, like damn save some good deeds for the rest of us ._.

Derpy Egg would work if the Dragonborn chose the stormcloaks, but it's obvious Beth will write the empire as the ones the dragonborn chose in the next game, hell they're pretty much hinting it at you since the menu screen. metal Empire Insignia, The thalmor Dossier on Ulfric which you find by default in the main questline (which details how Ulfric is pretty much a sleeper agent) I mean there are others but I don't want to Drag it on.

Anthony Pacheco A bit late but i dont think beth would put the dragonborn on any side of the civil war he will most likely disappear like the rest of the ESO main characters for plot convenience so . They did that at the end of daggerfall with the warp in the west, did it with neravarene by saying he was on a trip to akavir in oblivion and main character in oblivion became sheogorath, just so happens that the last dragonborn conveniently pledged himself to herma mora which is the perfect grounds for disappearing just like miraak
That last part... Makes no sense. My Dragonborn never "pledged" herself to Hermaeus Mora. In fact, she consistently told Mora in no uncertain terms to fuck off. If it's implied she ends up in his service by the next game, it would be dumb as hell, and I, for one, would not buy it.
C D my dragonborn kajhiit was a nice kitty, and was friendly to Mora. Sheogorath is best Deadric prince tho.

Concept: During the battle in Sovngarde, Alduin uses a more powerful form of the "Disarm" shout, and clears the inventory of the Dragonborn, knocking him/her out.
The main theme starts playing as an acapella chorus, and Talos appears, blessing the Dragonborn with a reduction of the shout cooldown of 100%.
After this, the Main Theme picks up as an orchestral version, and the second phase starts: in one of the loading screens it's stated that "A fight between dragons is tecnically a verbal conflict", so, in the same fashion, the final fight sees the Dragonborn and Alduin fighting only through their Thu'um.
After the Dragonborn wins, Talos reappears, stating that he can give such a powerful blessing only in Sovngarde (which is why his shrines only give 20%) and poses a choice: keep a constant 50% decrease to shouts, or receive his armor/weapon.
It's complicated, but I think it gives the unique flavor the Final Boss deserves, in stead of being basically a normal dragon fight.

I was so disappointed the first time I fought Alduin in Sovngarde, I reloaded a previous save and beat him on legendary, just because it was extremely anticlimactic to defeat the worldeater in 5 hits...
