Doesnt that narrow down the potential pool of customers? For instance, If selling -say a tanning cream-, you can stack all sort of interests like sunshine, traveling, jamaica(country) whatever it is.... BUT doesnt this mean that you narrow down your total audience to ONLY thouse who like ALL of the interests? How do you determine what your winning interest is in this case? Q2: Why not just have 10 ADSets, each w. 1 interest and the 5-10 ads. Isnt that a more clear way of seeing which interest is the winner? Appreciate you answering this and thanks for value you put out here.
Stacking interests will increase your audience size to something much larger. It seems to work slightly better for ad accounts with smaller TAM from my split tests. I'm sure it's not a huge effect. Interests are pretty much useless in 2024.

Only in testing phase. I've tried this across multiple accounts and interest stacks perform better for whatever reason. The product strategy is more niche rather than broad so that is probably why.
