Only male hedgehogs can go super, because the chaos emeralds became racist and sexist in 1998 for an unexplained reason, but when any classic character (except sonic) uses the emeralds, they get a slightly lighter tone of their primary color, indicating that they are super but we don't want you to think they're as important and special and super sonic who turns yellow and stuff....EXCEPT THIS COOL RANDOM THROWAWAY CHARACTER TRIP WHO GETS AN AWESOME SUPER COOL ORIGINAL FORM WHILE SONIC'S FRIENDS YOU'VE KNOWN FOR YEARS ARE SIDELINED AGAIN WAHOO!!
