Congrats on your results!! 🎉🎉 Do you have any tips for the french writing exam???
Thanks! For french writing, I’d suggest firstly getting really familiar with your oral questions because the questions they ask you in writing are very similar. Make sure you are certain about your tenses as well, and look over past writings that you’ve done in class and see what the most common mistakes you’re making are. After all that, learn some really high-level phrases(such as some listed in my description for the gcse speaking video), learning lots of complex phrases guarantees a high mark for your content, and because you’ve learnt them rather than coming up with them, there won’t be mistakes.
Last thing: plan! Planning is extremely important so you know exactly what you’re talking about. Also, on your plan, make a checklist of stuff you want to include which is where you can write down all your pre-learnt phrases so you don’t forget them.

Thanks! I’d say that in year 10, I’d really recommend making your flash cards / revision materials early. Whenever you have a test, make revision material for it as if it were GCSE so by the time you’re in Year 11, you’ll have all your revision resources to use without any more work needed.

for me I consider a 9 to be an A**, so:
9 - A**
8 - A*
7 - A

bro how are u already on space in physics, my class is only at waves my, they’re so slow 💀
It depends on the school in which order you do the topics mainly. We did space at the end of year 10 but now we’re going over stuff that other schools may have already done earlier.
for aqa level 2 further maths could you make a video on how to revise
I’ll see, but I’ve already done a vid on Maths in general, which pretty much covers it. However, once I’ve done more of the further maths course, I’ll do a video on that too!
Hey, what are grade boundaries Like for aqa if your school does it, is it like late 70s for a 9? It’s because my school is a grammar school and the grade boundaries are always really high and doesn’t accurately represent what grade boundaries which will be lower in the real exam :)
The grade boundaries, if I can remember were pretty standard, for some subjects quite low as the exams we got were rubbish so we collectively did bad

Sorry 1 more thing, bcz you do RS, do you have any tips for like what quotes you should memorise bcz obviously that’s pretty important for rs exams and you possibly can’t memorise them all?

Teachers give way too many quotations so I recommend compiling a list of quotations that you think you can use in several different scenarios so that way you don’t have to learn as much

I don’t know why the third paper was out of 76 rather than 80, but the total would then be 219/236.

how long u revise for after skl?
Not much surprisingly, I’d get all my homework done and stuff and I’ll do like an hour if I feel like it, maybe like 2-3 hours when a test is in a few days. For my mocks the most I revised for in a day was 4 hours, a big part of that might be because my Flashcards are already there so I’ve saved a lot of time in that sense

i love dt’s low grade boundaries loll 52% for a 9 for edexel😭
Ikr they’re so low. It’s just normal to get around 50% because of how obnoxious the exam is.

When we started, it was really stressful and horrible due to the constant homework and workload we were getting. Now we’ve started making and it’s much more relaxed so currently, it’s not too bad :)

How did u revise for sciences
I started off with Flashcards to memorise the content and I went over free science lessons videos, they’re the best.
Then, when exams got closer, I dedicated my time to past papers and just did as many of those questions as I could. Any exam questions that came up lots of times (such as a diffusion question for example), I would make a flashcard on it so I can just know the mark scheme each time that question comes up.

Can you please tell me how to get good at computer science. Theory part is alright but it's the programming part that I'm bad at. Like seriously even a year 7 is probably better than me at programming.
Assuming that I didn't even know what syntax errors are, how would I learn to code?
Btw, I'm in year 10.
@@fossil418 I agree as the programming part is more harder. For me, the programming exam has 6 questions, first 4 are easy but the last 2 are hard depending on what exam board you do, I would practice exam questions for both Theory and Programming, I do more with the Programming part of computer science more than the theory one.
For me, I learn through python and have a revision guide and workbook to try and practice questions for the programming part.
Btw what exam board do u do for computer science?

i got a 9 for physics in year 10 mock and im stressing as i doubt i’ll get a 9 again, the exam was horrible 😭
I feel the exact same! The exam was horrible for me too, the worst thing would be to get high in my mocks and then low in my GCSEs 😬

Majority of the students that get 8's are normally demoted to an 8 because too many people got 9's, also English is difficult and an 8 is still amazing.
True, I’m really happy with an 8
I hate ,maths Its only one failed I do fountain and got 3+ plus can only five (two marks) lost marks plans and elavtions can video 5 gcce maths founatin and tell talckle resit if people coungiles geropahy strong English
