10:10 haha so PoE.
Great video mate, thank for all the info, it's good to know.
Now I'll log in my AFK RF and enjoy elder players no button gameplay even more 😂
yeah I'm all about 1 button builds
PSA: If you are trying to use the exert attacks function of warcries you need warcry cdr to have 100% uptime. The best way is the cluster of nodes near eternal youth node between templar and maurader.
If you have a lot of attack speed then you need more cdr for 100% uptime. Go to calcs tab in POB and pick a warcry to see the uptime %. Also if you cant slot urgent orders there is a warcry speed cluster as well. Useful for incorporating a few manual warcries like enduring cry.
Remember that the warcries are still taking mana to use them when autoexerting. To get mana reduction for the build in general, use a massive thread of hope in the jewel slot near that same eternal youth. You get Dreamer, Shaper, Constitution, Heart of the Warrior, Versatility (for dex, int, and accuracy), and Nomadic Teachings for +2 max res. There are other good nodes too. Huge value.
The new helmet Kaoms Command is my favourite unique. I'm using a fire based slam with auto exert infernal cry that explodes all living and dead monsters every 2 secs. Madness!
if only it wasnt grossly rare to get in ssf I would enjoy it myself
Also having free damaging aliment wipes is super nice. Can ignore ignite, bleed, and poison immunities. Just a really nice chill playstyle.
@@ian2714 yeah it's a bit spooky even with 2 second warcry as a bleed in high tier content could just kill you in 2 seconds but I think it's worth the point overall
@@LightyGaming That's true. I run a really fast general's cry think like 0.8 seconds or something on my Earthshatter so I don't notice the bleeds. But yeah if you don't have really fast warcrys you can def still get killed from a big bleed.
You've convinced me, after I finish leveling my archmage I'll try an autoexert build
Warcries are ABSURDLY powerful this league, and they've carried my ass through my first attempt at SSF. Some of the smoothest progression I've had so far because Chieftain makes gearing so much easier. Highly recommend Volcanic Fissure of Snaking - since it erupts 4 times and seeks enemies each time, you can still do damage to things around you while you're busy spamming warcries. About to get my 4th voidstone with little to no hiccups along the way!
man that's a dope thumbnail, nice content bro. been watching since episode 1
cheer bruv
Funny i was just revisiting my starter and made a real jank and very sub-optimal version of some of the mechanics you discussed. This will help me fix that character. Thanks dude.
Great video. Really enjoying your informative content this league.
ya like it, anything else ya wanna see lmk and maybe ill do something
Lighty master class on everything PoE is becoming my favorite series thats not a series
I think the most important aspect of having autoexert in the game is you can be selective about what you want to automate, I still have like 3 warcries I like to manually press on my slammer (like enduring cry/Infernal/rallying/seismic) but then you have generals cry and battlemages cry on autoexert cause they either wouldn't provide a useful buff to your character anyway if manual cast, but also their cool thing they do works even if autoexerted, and you still get their benefits in terms of overexertion damage.
I've been running a full degenerate autoexert Zerker! It creates some problems with reservation (alongside auras), but its quite fun playing a one button earthshatter!
I want to do Volcanic Fissure of Snaking in SSF Ruthless. Do you approve? Which ascendancy do you suggest?
Increased CDR rate is actually lowering Warcry CDR , but you cant use the Buffs with Autoexertion . But you can Automate Generals Cry with it what is pretty fun .
I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but maybe someone else isn't so this might be useful for them: You wasted a point with that Voices. You can just loop from socket to socket and waste 4 points on Nothing nodes instead of 5 when you take all the side nodes.
This is also the reason why 1 passive Voices only saves you 1 point instead of 2 compared to a 3 passives Voices, which is somewhat negligible for the cost, except for extremely point starved builds like aurabots.
Couple of warcry things.
Having the cooldowns offset is useful for earthshatter to have the spikes blow up constantly. Or just use generals cry (or both).
For rallying cry, if you dont manually use it, it doesnt give any damage other than adding one more exertion for overexertion and echoes.
The exertion looks for you buffing allies, but no buff means no damage. If you do use it manually use something like herald of purity and you can get the extra exert damage. You can also add a golem, but probably too much socket pressure.
Also, for autoexertion i dont think levelling your warcry gems does anything. So you can keep them low level for stat requirements, maybe?
I believe that rallying cry more damage per affected ally works when autoexerted looking at the wording. It's not a buff part- so should boost our dmg even further with herald of purity for example
Great guide. Much prefer the auto ex warcry over an aura
@@michaelh370 yeah if built fully it feels like decent value
very much informative , as well as thank you veru much
I really love trying new builds. Do you have a skill tree template for warcrys? Great vid!
@@PzzledPickle03 yeah in the video description
i have some idea for you, that is Great on Berserker with Stolen Suns Roar Forbiddens or on Chieftain. Link your Battlemages Cry to Forbidden Rite + Curse + urgent orders. Put it on left click. Link your Vengeful Cry with More Duration. If your chaos resist is low enough (like +30) you can savage hit yourself with Forbidden Rite and then activate Vengeful Cry for like 10 seconds with More Durarion linked. Vengeful Cry is 25% more damage at least and can get up to 50% more damage with buff effect. If you have rage effect, it makes it even better.
@lighty maybe u can help I wrote a post on Reddit asking on how to calculate admonisher damage? I only got one answer in 7k views. In my build calculations I got a value of 104% damage increase looks too op for my taste.
the jumping commment brooooo :"D
when you couldnt auto flasks, I made a macro do all my flasks for me and never got caught (I made inputs all random to a degree to try to simulate me pressing them)
God tier thumbnail once again. You should frame that shit.
glad ya like it, @meat in discord made it
how many Lighties are in the Thumbnail?
not enough
the "remove damaging ailments when you warcry" also works with overexertion, pretty good option early until you get immunity somewhere else
edit: meant to say auto-exertion instead of overexertion
it works with the support? what do you mean
@@LightyGaming sorry i meant to say auto-exertion. the auto exerted warcries will also remove damaging ailments when they trigger, if you have the mastery allocated
@@NightKnight4455 oh yeah, its just spooky for that to be your only form of ailment removal since many things can kill you really fast
22:38 did you figure out whats this voodoo?
I have not lmao
@@LightyGaming karui voodoo confirmed
Nice thumbnail
thank you, *Meat* in our discord makes them, he is a wizard
The other two banners are not entirely useless. They make you immortal to small hits from spells or attacks. With the passive that lets your banners linger for 3 seconds the spell block banner works like a quicksilver, too. I tried it with an animate weapon necro with big aura and duration investment because physical spell levels hit warbanner, carrion and stone golem and animate weapon. Damage is good but I fall over to any damage over time. And the banners are incredibly clunky and you do not have good uptime while moving through a map. You could do it with a wand. I just like smite to trigger bladefall from generals cry. It is no good with a spellcasters accuracy but the wand gives you not much either.
yeah block one is pretty neat but managing uptime is terrible for general mapping
it should say "when a warcry is used or triggered" and "when a warcry is used or triggered recently" instead of the weird shit they have now
yeah wording is fucked
left hand on the thumbnail probably should be an oposit grip
Ok buddy I love your content so I reallllllly worry this will get you into trouble at 6:03 😂
I will not get in trouble. Using macro's is against TOS but many people do it, this game is physically hurting people with its design choices and there has been little effort over the years to fix this problem.
@@LightyGaming carpel tunnel is a reality for poe players
Carpal tunnel gang represent. Don't be me. Get a macro. Having gamer wrists is now a lifelong condition to deal with.
Actually saying out what needs to be said, can only respect and join that. I am also in the camp of automating anything in the game that reduces the strain on my body. You wouldn't believe what kind of things are beyond reason. The obvious stuff is rolling items with alterations. Then comes things like turning in divination cards. Also rolling boxes in maps. The combinations of precise mouse movement and clicking is just too straining. It all adds up so fast, it is like going from 60hz to 120hz+, there is just no going back. I will rather take a ban on my $1000+ account than ever doing any of these things manually again.
Maybe the ultimate endgame for poe design will be to take care of all the decision making and boss fighting, but having the farming process fully automated. You equip your character, you setup your atlas, you set the mods for you maps. The game then automatically uses your resources as you configured and sends your character off. All in real time and fully simulated, i.e. the game doesn't change and you can take control of your character at any time, however the main mode is the character playing itself. I would love for poe to be like that.
