Starts with a K In that series, maru *ATE* serral. I do think it’ll be close. My prediction is a 4-2 or 4-3 but I think it’ll go to maru.
Truestm that was 2017 lots of players beat and Serral simply didn’t start getting into form until the start of 2018 when he said he trained very hard (and it obviously paid off). There is a difference between Serral of 2017 and 2018 in his gameplay mechanics and controls. I’m not making excuses for Serral losing to Maru in 2017, and you shouldn’t make excuses for Maru losing to Serral in 2018. Serral has a very strong macro ability, very good at defending early pushes, cheeses and rushes.(even from Has) Maru is great no doubt about it, you can bet on Maru, but my money is still on Serral due to his tight controls and positioning in macro. Serral vs Maru The only way to resolve this is we wait and see who is the better one between the two IF they both reach and face off against each other in the WCS global 2018 grand-final.

@@AdmiralBison I think Maru has its chances. We've seen a slight change in Rogue playstyle against Special: use of roaches + tunneling claws, Ling counter attacks and overlords drops. I think he was practicing these against Maru because these are Serral's playstyle (even Reynor switch to some of these strategies after he lost against Serral). So if Maru is prepared, I think it will be really close. Question is : does Serral have new crazy strategies? Sorry for my English, I'm not English native.
Isn´t it a bit foolish to build air units that early on knowing Serral´s play style? Yes, you can harass and get a few drones but those resources could have been spent on expanding and solidifying.
