I’ve listened to this match up at least five times. It was so good to see Serral win this one, as much as I love dark. That Geoff was covering the match just enhances listening to this. En taro iNcontrol

It's so much fun to consider that Dark said that Serral was weaker than Maru and Rogue, and that's why Dark wanted him in the quarter finals...
And then Serral completely obliterates Dark, crushes Rogue and goes on to win the final against Stats who beat sOs, who beat Maru.
There's a lesson there. 🙂
Serral is just too good
I still can't get over the first game. You would think (well, I would think) that Roaches+Corruptors will beat Lings+Mutas, as Roaches would crush lings on the ground and Corruptors will crush Mutas in the air, yet Serral would have his Mutas outmaneuver the Corruptors, support the Lings enough to beat the Roaches and use Mutas in greater numbers to destroy smaller groups of Corruptors to just win.
I watched this live at Blizzcon last year.... It was weird to feel bad for a bunch of koreans getting smashed by this guy lol.

gotta love the caster's comment on this how it was the worst way in terms of mentality to lose a game. It basically means that he lost a straight macro game, and he's down 2 games.

Why does the video show almost 1 hr but only lasts 10 mins?
The problem seems to be in the audio. There is an AAC (mp4a) track that is full hour, but the other tracks are Opus and they are a lot shorter. So I guess something at the conversion broke, the audio tracks end at 10 minute and the youtube clip plays only that long.
Unfortunately the default web player doesn't give that much of a fine control to select the audio. Selecting different quality doesn't seem to help.
You might have some luck if you have a way to force mp4 formats only (aka H264). No guarantee. If somebody find a way, share with the others.
I don't get it. I am playing the full 59 minute thing, I get audio and video at any point in the stream. I just skipped ahead 5 minutes at a time just to see. Works fine for me.
If you are talking about different players, maybe it is because I have magic options addon for youtube - and I use the html5 player?

@@adrianbundy3249 it seems to me it was because the video was just uploaded, now I can see all the 59 minutes. It also happened to me to see only the lowest resolution on a newly uploaded 1080p video

It works in Safari and on Android, but not in Chrome. Probably has to do with what formats each browser supports. Switch to a different browser or device.

It stopped at the most crucial part. Serral comes back with the left over mutas or Dark successfully cleans the base with Roaches

Why serral puts his spawning pool in the middle of the base? Why not block the mineral lines(defending better against zerglings and banelings)?
He apparently is confident enough and doesn't need it. I guess he prefer to scout tne mid of his natural base of you know what I mean

InControl could have shown better theory on game 1. Corruptors thrash Mutalisks in a head on fight, even more so after an armor upgrade; they're not often used in this match up for more subtle reasons. If Dark had an early air armor upgrade it would have helped.
