    10:32 wouldn't the +1 indicate that it lost an electron rather than gained one? It'd still be the right answer anyway but I was wondering..

      I'm not sure you can rely on that as a technique, since the first 3 options are all 1+ ions. Unless I'm not quite understanding your reasoning. That fact that something has lost an electron doesn't mean that it's shape will have lone pairs influencing it
