There’s nothing wrong with the U.K. that getting rid of Sunak, Starmer, Khan, all their cohorts, every woke councillor and giving us Caribbean weather wouldn’t fix!!!
Certainly 👍👍☀️🇬🇧
Completely different country then 😂😂 love it and agree 100%
Unattainable
Same here with our “dear leader!”
String all this useless government up and get people in like Jeremy Clarkson, Piers Morgan, Jim Davidson, Kate Hopkins and Miriam Margolyes. CONTROVERSIAL but i promise they will sort this shambolic country out in about a year. Borders closed, NHS sorted the whole shabang
He didn’t want to say what really has changed in the UK over the last 20 years…..
Yes I noticed this too
🇬🇧
Which is
@@s125ishCould be immigrants, just saying.
I was a very highly paid chef in Australia for quite a few years some time ago . We had crocodile on the menu and every time someone ordered it they would say , 'And make it snappy ' . I think the girl was being kind saying no one else had ever said it . What I wanted to mention was that the crocodile was not Australian . The crocodile we served was ' farmed ' in Florida . In Australia their crocodiles are allowed to eat you but you are not allowed to eat them .
Except in NT.
That’s changed , it’s Australian crocodile served now.
Looks lovely and I did not see one pothole
This was really good. Dont know where you friend went when he went back to the UK but if he had gone to London he would have wondered where the Londoners had gone. Perth looks really nice.Well done.
It’s starting to get like that here in Oz.
I always remember starting work in the factory at 7.00 in Welshpool in Perth. The Aussie’s breakfast consisted of meat pie and 500ml Coke.
Classic workers breakfast. But in my day it was a sausage roll and a choc milk.
Packet of Winny Blues and an iced coffee ..😀
Great to hear a balanced view on the UK vs. OZ. When living in OZ, I noticed that people are less materialistic and happier with their life. More down-to-earth and less judgmental.
Came to aus in1990, went back at Xmas for the first time since 1990,couldn’t believe the change and how expensive it has become, nice for a quick holiday every 30 years or so😂 Mike brisbane
Invest in a polycarbonate travelling straw? When in Rome do as Romans do; stop chasing British Experience in Oz and you'll enjoy much more.
Yet another great video, these type of videos are great meeting the locals and seeing some sights keep them coming.
He’s not a local, he’s only been here 20 yrs.
@@merv190 Yes, and I wish they wouldn't refer to themselves as ex-pats. Immigrant doesn't sound so good though I suppose.
Any tears shed over eating that pie would be crocodile ones🙄
I can’t believe you guys ate pies and sausage rolls without tomato sauce!
I’m in Adelaide and have never paid $9 for a pie.
Got to have sauce on a sausage roll ! makes it a bit better.
True but when sausage rolls are really good they are great to eat without sauce plus brits love brown sauce which prob will not be something they had at the store.
Couldn't have Lee drunk the coffee without the straw lol
Yes - my thought too 🤭🤣🇬🇧
But then he wouldn't be able to whinge about things changing
Hi Lee ,really enjoying your vlogs, croc pie...no thanks, very much appreciated, thank you Sue & Ben (Woodhall Spa)xx
Loved this one Mac!
"Gimmee a crocodile pie, and make it snappy"
That harbour looks lovely and it was nice of him to take you there and thank you for sharing this with us xxx
Has anyone ever asked a crocodile what a human tastes like whether in a pie form or not? 😂😂😂
We taste like pork, apparently 😋.
Great video thank you
Looks lovley clean place the boats are nice 😊
She was humouring you!! 🤣You probably weren't even the first that hour, nevermind ever. 🤣
Greggs used to be okay until it took on external investors and expanded massively. Greggs now makes cat food wrapped in pastry.
Yes I was in town a few weeks ago hadn't been to Gregg's for a while got a steak bake the only meat was a huge lump of gristle threw it in the bin 😮
@@dawnfinch2836 ugh makes you feel sick just reading this - I know exactly what you are saying
😊🇬🇧
Good description 👍😊🇬🇧
Greggs well expensive now and they are always cold. Glovers were best but went in covid lockdowns.
Greg's as really gone down hill after the pasty gate
A good tip would be to not visit Australia in our off season due to extreme heat in Jan & Feb. Bad time to holiday here. We're in our siesta mode ATM.
Who else has noticed that greggs in the UK? Especially teeside are getting well dear 🏴
Me!!! I said that a few weeks back to Sarah. Sneaking up their prices. No longer cheap.
@@TheMacMaster no more pasties
Thanks for changing the background, the "Heart" was giving me the willies!
Don't like straws, just take a swig.
You should mention the free bus service around perth City the Cat bus service
I had a feline you would mention the cat bus service!
My wife and I are hoping to get back out to Perth soon as our daughter lives there and we haven't seen her and the grand children for five years my daughter and husband have nearly finished building there new house and when it is finished we will have somewhere to stay
Too expensive - and commercial chain ( which is boring)
Independent small businesses - much better and deserve the trade 😊🇬🇧
We had paper straws in the fifties and sixties, no problem.
G'day lee you've sound happy and at home here in Australia Shane in Sydney
What a nice guy with you today
I thought his name was james not guy?!
Amazing video
❤❤❤ Great Aussies vlogs Lee and listening to the EXPATS is very interesting how there different living situation.😊😊😊😊
Spent a week in Manduraha in an apt above those curly rooves. Wonderful to see the porpoise in the Marina and a couple of nights watched the pelicans herding the silverfish into the shallows. There's a choccy factory dowb on the Margaret River thay throw samples at yoo👍... Bringing back some great memories .. cheers
It's always been cheaper for the British in Australia. Pound Vs AU Dollar. A dessert pudding????? Looks like a vanilla slice.
Food is generally cheaper for fruit and veg in the UK because alot of it is imported.
In Australia the bulk is grown here because you can yield everything from the tropics to temperate climatic zones.
It's more seasonal so in the summer months it's alot cheaper.
And the quality is far superior in Australia because importation makes produce less fresh. And because Australia is do big alot if food is grown in isolated regoins that are purer.
Same with meat as well.
And Greggs is mass produced rubbish, there is much better places in the UK than them.
And small bakeries especially in country towns in Australia have handmade produce and not made in bulk in a factory like Greggs.
Another lovely video Lee.
Thank you.
Thank you Lee enjoyed your vlogs love the steak pie. ❤️
I'll have a steak and cheese please. NZ does the best steak and cheese pies In The World...
Lee, you so have convinced me to have crocodile 🐊. Not!! 😂 your face was a picture 😂
Shame about the heat it can get a bit oppressive at times but Perth looks so modern and clean and it's easy to see why so many Brits want to come here.
Enjoying the videos 👌
The blonde in the beginning would be enough to seriously consider a visit.
It's a funny thing in I have lived in perth for about 27 years and sad to say I think you have seen more of the area in you time here than I have. It's great watching your videos because it's ignited my old flame for traveling around going places just for the fun of it again. Kinda sad I have falling into a rut in life and basically was work or home. So thanks for getting me back into doing stuff..Well soon hopefully.
Looking forward to you meeting up with MGUY.
Miami Bakehouse Steak Pie looked full. The vanilla slice - proper portion. Great video again, thanks for filming it.
Yeah the vanilla slice was proper, but a bit light on the custard filling. Should be at least an inch and a half thick.
Looks a nice pie and enjoy.
Well Lee that pie looks amazing mate
Funny - the heart behind you both - ahhhh 😅
The pies looked lovely, the blue sky still evident lol, does it ever rain 😀, enjoy your trip.
@dougie60892 actually the driest continent in the world, New South Wales gets a good rainfall. Sth Aust where I live is the driest state we go into shock if we get over 450ml a year 😂out here in mid north SA but night temps can drop below 0 in winter
love your videos like a breath of fresh air australia looks beutiful . that croc pie didnt. lol awesome videos james is brilliant 2 nice chap
Iam starving now thanks Lee
Absolutely love Mandurah, we always go strait to The Peninsula bar for a beer and some food when we visit WA. Some decent restaurants in Dolphin Quay aswell Lee
Really enjoyed your video thanks WA has great places to go Mandurah is lovely place Pinjarra is cool to....a great drive too show case WA thanks love your videos Lee I live in Perth and love it thanks.. Margaret River is lovely place 💖
You should try everything, Lee 😂😂
Harrys Cafe de Wheels in Sydney. an institution in Sydney for pies.
Packing suggestions for Sydney
Wellies
Rain Coat
Umbrella
Waterproof trousers
Damm El Nino 😅
Thanks for the name check Lee - the Bakehouse looks like it’s been expanded and done up since we were there . Regards
Howard 👍🏻
Thanks Howard. Hope you are well.
The demount-able on the side of the Forrest Hwy was just a temporary shop while they waited for the service station to be built. The original Miami Bakehouse was in the beachside suburb of Miami just south of Mandurah. The suburb name was changed to Falcon back in the 80's and there is still a Miami Bakehouse outlet there although I don't think they bake the pies there anymore.
I walked into a local Greggs the other day, looked at the prices, walked straight back out.
I'm thinking of going to Oz just to try a Croc pie.
Cool vid.
They do a good pie 🥧 down under ,I went to yatla pie shop between brisbane and gold Coast, best pie I ever had.
"I don't feel guilty cos they eat us"! Laughed out loud at that one, Lee! Another great vlog from the MacMaster. Thanks gor showing us all these lovely places. You're working hard and getting about a lot. P.s. before you tasted that croc pie I knew you were going to say it tastes like chicken. That's what they say in I'm A Celeb when they eat croc ( or snake). ❤
17:10 well Lee that pie looked amazing mate
Bloody hilarious 😂, your mate sounds like a new zealander aswell 🤣
That’s an insult to kiwis 😀😀
I like it, the pies were full and looked moist unlike some you get over here.
Good work and keep up the hard work and don't enjoy yourself too much you won't want to leave.
Yip I seen her as well 🏴🤣😂👍✌️🏴
Those prices are ridiculous compared to here in South Australia. I can’t imagine paying $10.50 for a curry pie!
If you’re ever in Adelaide and go for a drive down to Victor Harbour be sure to stop at the bakery at Pt Elliot, you won’t be disappointed.
Omg one of my favourite haunts as a kid on holidays.
Your face when you was eating that croc pie 🤣. Cant go wrong with greggs cheap enough 👍
Crocodile pie! What next, Koala skewers 😮 Onwards
Another great video Mr Mc.. If you didn't ask to make it snappy. Then it wouldn't be you! Great work!
😜👍🏼👍🏼
G'day lee never been to Western Australia and I'm an Aussie Shane in Sydney
hope you did not find any croc teeth in the old pie Lee that would hurt the old ring hole on the way out . Great video again cant wait to see more oz adventures
Lol!!!! Ringhole. 😂 Brilliant. Made my day. 👍🏼 👍🏼
Crocidile Pie? Defintely! If I ever get the chance to eat something that can eat me count me in!!!!!!
You need to go to Tong garden center and get a vanilla slice they are twice as thick as that one with custard.
Mandurah IGA sells delicious fresh pies ..I love their lamb pie and the rogan josh. 😊
All sausage rolls are like that in Australia. Delighted you had a vanilla slice (love them almost as much as stucky date pudding) and tried a crocodile pie with mango and macadamia nuts. Always funny watching your adventures Lee 10/10 😅
She was obviously having you on. I bought a crocodile roll in Darwin and said the same thing, the guy in the food van said 'I haven't heard that one for at least 10 minutes'.
Lol. 😂
Did you try a macaroni pie when you were here in Scotland. Absolutely magic
The pie is not runny, sign of a good pie.
how's the humidity today gone a bit queensland tropical like in perth
Another good different vlog 👍👍👍
I remember passing through some out of the way small town in Florida. On one side of the road was a shack selling 'home made' rattlesnake pie and the other McDonalds. Wasn't a difficult decision which one to stop at. Maybe Greggs could start making home made ferret pies etc.
Roadkill pies, pigeon, rabbit, fox or luxury pheasant ones.
Now that you've tried crocodile, the next Australian delicacy is green ants.
Lee enjoyed your vlog yes you weren’t far away from Bunbury as I suggested a🇦🇺🇦🇺👍
Hi lee that crocodile pie looked okay though i have not had one yet james seemed a bit solemn but nice of him to get you out of town and see a bit of real australia you should be sponsored by the wa government ❤❤😂😂
Hi Lee great video pastries looked Ok,
Vanilla slice looked really nice but U agree crocodile&mango pie didn’t look good given that 2 out of 10 rest of the stuff looked fine.
Glad see having fun in Perth drink plenty of liquids because of the heat
Great vlog mate! I’ve had crocodile before and thought it tasted of slightly fishy chicken too, certainly had some bite to it tho……I’ll get my coat 😅
You should have tried a “Jesters “ pie Lee……beautiful !
May have the weather but it is one of the most isolated places!
Steak pie looked yummy Lee 😋
Where's all the cycle lanes, bus lanes, parking retrictions, potholes and general road clutter.
another great video, not sure i would even try eat crocodile
Lee have you tried chicken salt yet? I came across it on a hungover lunch time at KFC although I believe Aussies have it everywhere! I fell in love with it. I get it sent over to the uk and have it sprinkled on chips. Amazing!
Oh god just sprinkle a broken up chicken stockcube on as salt same diff lol
0.15 Now that's a Sheila
come on Lee, tell us the truth, you were going to barf with ol' snapper sliding down, could have had some man leg or toes in with it, ahahaha!!! 😁 oh btw, cheers James!
Don't be squeamish about eating crocodile mate. I'm sure they wouldn't be squeamish about eating you 😁
Lol
Surprised you didn't make a comment on the colour of the Fanta, always a totally different colour outside of UK, Google says it's something to do with us not allowing certain stuff getting put in it, but it tastes better outside UK... Been controlled again.
Still catching up and I've noticed the next video I finally find out who the bloke is in the car, I commented on your post hoping it was Geoff (or Jeff) so suppose I will find out soon :-)
Lee, Here in Leigh Lancs they don't sell pies in Greggs! 😕😕
Crocodile Pie? What's next? Finch, Chimps and Mushy Bees! 😂
Lee you have certainly met some lovely ex pats,👍driving you all those km ,letting us see Perth, etc, steak pie looked good, not so,the crocodile pie🤢 cakes were ace, onwards
Used get kangaroo corcs ext in som frozen shop a few years ago
Good Evening Lee and James. A very nice and Good atmosphere Establishment. Miami Bake house. Generally your Food did look very Lovely. Plenty of filling in each of your pies. Your cakes, did look rather tasty. This Special Crocodile with Mango Pie. It looked like a Chicken Pie. From your facial expressions, i could tell straight away, you both were not impressed. I must admit, that a Proper Greggs does take a lot of beating. I really do Love Greggs and i do use there App, every time i visit. I really liked James, he did seem really Welcoming and a easy to talk to and have a Good conversation and some really Good Banter with him. "0 years living in Australia, this absolutely Incredible. Lee, I really am Enjoying your Australian Adventure movies so, so much. I see them on my playlist. I just have to watch what you have Produced and Edited all by your self.
