- I cannot stand kids in the sims. Sims 3 children aren't as bad as in other games but I still don't want to spend my time looking after six of them.

I think you would be a perfect caregiver for kids. I mean lots of musical toys for creativity, teaching independence and fresh outdoor air from taking a trip to a beach. 😂
Seeing the thumbnail I immediately thought about the daycare career but I had never seen anyone progress pass the three toddlers stage, so I thought the video's gonna be "running the daycare but I'm on vacation while child Mortimer is taking care of the kids" or something like that 😂 loved it anyway
I managed to get up to 5 toddlers and 2 children. This was terrible. Kids were moderate in needs, but my sim was all on red by the end of the day. After that, I never got back to this career.
Edit: I wasn't playing with just one sim, I had 2 adults so the other one helped a bit, but I was too busy making a queue of interactions on the og one xD.

I know you've done this just for (annoyance) fun, but there are store items that are absolutely busted for this carrer, I can't ever get on the max level without them xD

Child + I like though homework gets old fast, but agreed newborn to child is audio and mental torture, especially as Sims suck at automatic child care.
But I play sims4 I loved Sims 3 but it was my brother in laws so I never owned it this canal makes me want it again lol.

I'm always kind of upset about how the "dislikes children" trait works. If anything it's almost more of a hindrance because it always clocks a -15 to mood when they're around kids.
I want them to never take care of the kids when they take that trait. Ignore them completely. What it really gets you is the ability to shoo children away whenever, which isn't really useful.
