As an ex-tennis pro, I learned the "chip and charge" and that is what I use in pickleball. The "chip and charge" is a much smaller motion and easier to control the placement of your return of serve.
Thats great instruction, my only question is when they target my weak side ( Im a lefty ) so if they target my weak side on the right ( which most good servers do) whats the proper form for that? Just stay low and do everything the same but with my backhand? Thanks!
curious about two different mechanics you use...one is with right foot in front and one with right front in back before swinging through shot...thoughts?

Hey, I ran through the video 5-6 x’s. Not all shots are perfect, but when he was able to control the return he stepped in with his dominate foot.
Good video - its one i really needed.
Good job!
How about serves just outside the kitchen please
Topspin or slice on the return?
If you do slice your opponent is going to use that backspin against you with some crazy forehand drives or drops
Hit flat
🫡 excellent advice!
