Just another all-time classic episode. It is so cool to be able to be able to hear these stories and insights from the legends on featured on these podcasts. Any stories I have heard about before always get expanded on with new insight and perspectives. So listen up MAGGOTS! Like, subscribe, and share this podcast! You are dismissed!
Two minutes in and I'm loving it !!!! Let's get it !!!! As a kid I special ordered the ljn figure of him , plus all the gi Joe figures . I grew up also with the wrestling mags in the 80s of him in bloody wars with so many !!! Man , those mags did so much for so many !!!! Especially seeing guys in territories you couldn't see on tv !!!! Arghhh I miss and love love love those day !!!!!
This show never fails to exceed my already high expectations and thank you for bringing Sarge to us. He's such a legend and had so many incredible stories and thoughts to share.
Its simple the new fans don't have any sense of history cause these guys don't do flips and kicks and 50,000 Canadian destroyers with 275,000 superkicks leading to 125,000 false finishes
Good gawd, gentlemen, what a show! Fantastic as always! Oh and if you look on the spine of the WWE Encyclopedia book jacket, you know who’s picture is there! Sgt. Slaughter!
My own personal slaughter story I remember when he was the Executioner I was hoping he would be the weak link between him and pak song but he held his own epic fued involving Tommy Rich Tony Atlas and Rock Hunter GA 77
If you would have bought to Brisco Bros Body Shop, you wouldn't have had that problem. My go to Body Shop in Tampa Florida still going strong today. A Tampa Institution.
@@josephnicolino8529 Shows what you know. The Marines have been pissed about it for many years, and often spoke out about it in the 1980s. And Remus himself was actually arrested for protesting the Vietnam conflict in 1969.

Love watching these older wrestlers with their tales of the ring. Especially the Sarge. Often amusing
Thank you guys for the memories. There should be an Archives for these interviews

The barn was so much fun to train in. We had a great class. Me, Bob Remus, Olympian Chris Taylor, and Paul Perschman.
Did you proceed to work in the business? Did you work under your real name?

Amazing Discussion with the Sarge! Enjoyed all the insights to a magnificent career in the wresting industry
love hearing Sarge telling these stories
I love this show every episode has some of the best stories out there !
Sarge vs Zbysco here in Anchorage Alaska was my first ever card I see live, around 1987.
Glad i bumped into this..
Don Kernodle was a better worker than is remembered. Its a real shame that he never got over big because the guy was really good .
This is great. Its like being a fly in the wall in the locker room . Its like getting to ride in the car with the boys .
How does this have so few views/likes? Epic guest. The reason I stayed past flipping the channels thru wrestling and why I'm a fan today.

Probably still mad about the Stolen Valor.
@@Rjensen2 stolen valor is a felony, so why hasn't he been arrested.
@@josephnicolino8529 What kind of stupid question is that?
Another great legend on My Stories With JBL!
Good gawd, gentlemen, what a show! Fantastic as always! Oh and if you look on the spine of the WWE Encyclopedia book jacket, you know who’s picture is there! Sgt. Slaughter!
I love these shoot interviews
This was awesome!
It doesn't get any sadder than "Chiseled In Stone".
Wow !!! On all fours he goes against some of the greatest !!!! That's a man right there !!!! Holy smokes !!!!
This was Great!
Sgt Slaughter was great in the wwf I have Wrestlemania VII on vhs where he faces Hulk Hogan
love sarge since the early 80s
Gerald brisco:MR Mackmahon. That always made me giggle. Slaughter the 1st true wwf star before hogan brother.
Sarge gave 111% every time even when the AWA was in decline, he was determined to convince everyone of his character and what he was going to do.
we can all acknowledge the glasses the hat, and camouflage......but that damn chin is a gimmick gifted from God....perfect for the character
I keep hearing that about Don Jardine . Explains why he never homesteaded anywhere .
How did I guess your Facebook post so wrong? Of course it was The Sarge!! I'm such a maggot.
This is a classic
B and B should teach "How to Interview a guest." Sarge wasn't interrupted once. Superior.
Jack Brisco sitting smoking a cigarette and reading a book while champ. different times indeed
I like how uncomfortable Jerry and John look when Sarge talks about what a trecherous person Vince is.
Timestamp please ?
My own personal slaughter story I remember when he was the Executioner I was hoping he would be the weak link between him and pak song but he held his own epic fued involving Tommy Rich Tony Atlas and Rock Hunter GA 77
Great Show , do...... Bill "SuperStar" Dundee
If you would have bought to Brisco Bros
Body Shop, you wouldn't have had that problem.
My go to Body Shop in Tampa Florida still going strong today.
A Tampa Institution.
2 ladies who picked them up drove 50 minutes and bought them beers …. Uhh huh just a ride .
They moved it because it was not drawing name any other sold out sports show or concert during the golf war that needed that much security?
Ol sarge, still trying to kayfabe his deep blade job. Never saying that he bladed to deep and saying that he hit his head.
I do think it’s shady for Sarge to say he was in the Marine corps when he never served in any branch of the Military.
Neither did John Wayne, I'm 22 year Navy vet and I don't think less of him.
@@josephnicolino8529 Who cares if you were a veteran?
@@Rjensen2 if vets don't have a problem with it no one else should. I met Sarge twice and he is a great guy

Sarge still pretends. He was n the marines...lol
Sarge who never served one day in the military .
Imagine if he was black everybody would be apologizing including Hasbro
