So about hh in 50mlvl zones - we don't know yet if hh won't get higher lvl req to wear it, Chris said "higher level monsters". Acuity doesn't have reliquary unique type, so it won't be possible to drop it from reliquary key I guess. It's possible for you to little increase volume of microphone? Like you're the only one content creator I need to increase, and it's impossible for me on phone

You missed the part about lab where you can use an offering in your map device to open a random trial. This is such a nice change, for people who want to get their trials done on their own.
Right, but the random part of that equation is a tad worrying though. Do we no longer have poelab to help us out because every layout is gonna be completely different now? :') Not sure if I like that prospect as someone that doesn't want to be running lab at all :P
@@reznovvazileski3193 1 or 2 runs are gonna be enough imo for most part (i hate lab too). These few runs for like 10 min each are the minimum and it wont be as bad as it is now.

They might show you 5 crafting options but they didn't implement a system to read your mind and buff the weightings to suit whatever you're looking for :') You'll still need hundreds of labruns to get the specific enchant you want and the emperors mastery though possible is still gonna be incredibl,y rare too :P If you gotta run lab you still better prepare to run a lot of them, and while more worth it, I'd still love to actually fast-track it so I can back to having fun in the game.
I'm glad you addressed Fear of Missing Out; and it doesn't only apply to PoE, either. Identifying FOMO as why i'm not enjoying something has really helped me set it aside.
You can't not be stressed about it and still enjoy the progress. If you were ever even moderately stressed about it you made a huge progress in short amount of time. Now if you play slowly no stress it will simply not be rewarding enough for you to enjoy it.
That ignores all competitiveness in games, speed runs, and games that are supposed to be stressful but rewarding like dark souls and PoE... as long as the reward is worth it for u it’s fun
I sort of disagree with this... I don't call it stress. If I'm being productive, that's a goal and an achievement in and of itself. I feel like they are taking away a lot of the things a person can strive towards :/

Changes are so good, the similarity of the league mechanic to Ritual shows that GGG really wanted to finally take that league break to fix all the old systems so many of us have been asking for for so long. Being able to drop exciting uniques anywhere is amazing, it really brings me back to the days of just always having that sense that any mob could drop a Mjolner or Shavs back in the day, definitely a welcome change. What is a little baffling is the talisman nerf, I don't think I've ever seen a really good talisman before lmao
Its weird. Yes, you could potentially get a ridiculous talisman and they can be anointed, great.... But with so many good choices for neck slots, including influence.... youd need a perfect talisman to beat that. Nerfing them just confirms their relegation to stepladder items.
@@starkiller34 talismans were in a good state 3.13. With the smart rolls and random anointments, some of them were super interesting when you find them during early mapping and could potentially be a cheap upgrade. Now it’s just RNG fest with them again :(

Yep. Swapped to SSSF (semi solo self found. Aka private league with 3 friends) back in metamorph league. Don't think I'll ever play trade again. It's a shame there's no 'true' ssf mode where your character can't get moved to trade/standard but the drop rates of everything would be slightly buffed.
I would LOVE to switch to SFF. The major problem with that is that I'm an MTX whore and I can't get to 36 on my own. Now, if they changed the SSF reward levels to 8, 16, and 24 (like I've been asking about for a couple of years), I would go SSF a lot, or at least, start out SSF a lot.
About the STRESS thing, I always was upset when I couldn't do 60%+ delirious maps. I was really aware of how much effects this number could do to boost the tier of rewards that I could get, but then as soon as I realised this kind of impossibility I would quit the game out of frustration. BIG thanks to you for this video, I really really enjoyed it.

I've been waiting for your video. I watched a few other streamers but have been actively waiting for yours and am 100% not disappointed. You reacted almost exactly how I thought you would. I love the lower the ceiling and raise the floor method that GGG is finally implementing to dissolve [some of] the monopolies and reduce RMT. Can't wait for some league starters once we get patch notes.
@@gergobarta7498 but you will sell more enchants and a dedicated runner can now keep a lot of niche enchants. like say holy relic enchant is shit right, but you put it on geoffri helmet and it is 30ex. same for zombie and baron. or say arcane cloak and indigon. you can now keep multiple helmets in inventory, alpha, eye of inward, niche helmets, good bases, abyssus and you will get a something every single time. on top of that if that wasn't enough, you get to enchant boots for free now. people who dislike lab dislike it cuz of how boring it can get, it is not cuz of rng on enchants. lab will be even more profitable.
Something about the imprint. It says a split item cannot be imprint, but if the item was imprinted when was not splited it doesnt say cannot be restored. so it looks only that there is no need to enchant the item to prevent further splitting. or at least it seems to me.

Eyy, these changes are so good, now we need harvest crafts being itemized and I will be happy (i have a dope shield for my SST bleed glad, i need to remove life and add either hybrid armour/stun rec or hybrid armor/life or armor/block).
Let’s see how it goes, looks like some of the problems are getting addressed. I think ggg is doing pretty good these past two leagues, echo of the atlas already brought a lot of diversity in terms of farming strategies and looks like the next league will be even more possibilities. I personally hate doing one thing over and over just for profits because it’s boring
My friend and I were most excited by the item adjustments more than any other change in 3.14. Its always frustrated me how the most profitable things in PoE were almost always related to your ability to corner a market, like beast splits. Now that a lot of these things are nerfed and they have hopefully buffed the other areas significantly enough that mapping feels like its worth the time and not strictly worse than sitting in your h/o playing PoE Trade/spreadsheet simulator. I'm really looking forward to 3.14 especially now that I have finally come to terms with the fact that old Harvest isn't coming back :(

@5:20 Headhunter I guess did get a change/nerf. They limited how big you can be. Think it was mentioned on baeclast or was it the QnA with Wilson and Ziggy
I like that they added the new scarabs, IMO. I was talking about it before, actually. Abyssal Scarabs won't be affected by the overall layout of a map the same way that Breaches and Legions behave. Your RNG at that point will be how many times the Abyss itself "procs" and spawns monsters, or turns into an entrance to an Abyssal depths. A worthy risk, honestly, when I tried the Abyss sextant modifier in my 100% delirious tower map watchstone combination. Kinda sad that they added them this late in the game though, with PoE2 moving closer and all. But hey, I'm not complaining. This will at least ensure more monster spawns on whichever Glennach map will be the best candidate for 100% delirium runs.
I'm wondering what will happen to Cortex map prices (the most expensive part of The Feared). Was it high because people were multi-witnessing? Or was it high because it was rare?
On aura stacker there is a particular glove enchant that increased my total dmg by 30%... It's overlooked for some reason. I suppose since it's only useful for a very particular setup. However, a 30% MORE dmg enchant on gloves is super powerful.
Regarding the effect on the economy; if the floor has been raised then theoretically there will be more demand for higher(mid) tier items/services while simultaneously the top end supply is lower meaning that even though the 'top 1%' has been hindered the relative value of their time/investment should go up, at least slightly.
Great video! Learned a lot new things. Including, that I should not stress about only dropping 10 ex since I started plaYing in 3.1 Hope the league will bring good changes. One concern though, that if everyone will start making more, will it not devalue the currency? As in - the inflation.
One of the big parts about lab enchants is that you can select the helmet after you see enchant so strong enchants get much more than 3x as common. Let's say berserk effect is highly desired on shaper helmet (50 ex) now the enchant is 3x as common but also if 10% of lab runners were yoloing onto that helmet now 100% of informed runners can choose between that helmet and maybe a fortify ritual base or a lions pelt for berserk effect instead of being locked in before seeing enchants and it ends up on a bone helmet. Now enchants are literally 6x - 1000x more available due to 3x more enchants offered and base selected after. Think of how many RMR alpha's howls we will have on market because people will have that helmet for when aura enchants show up.
Veiled mods that are unveiled on an item are now always the t1 equivalent veiled mod (some are even higher than before now).. plus they are not considered a bench craft anymore if you straight unveil.. so a possible open affix to bench craft on top after unveiling some items.. so yes, spamming a veiled chaos orb on a base with an ideally fractured t1 mod with guaranteed t1 veiled mod on top of having the chance at another bench craft is by no means game breaking right?
So to sum up, there will be no big increase of price item in case of harvest nerf, like item 20ex will be 80ex, because it will be much harder to craft something like this, but the price will be lower as less people have huge amount of ex at all, so ultra rich are still ultra rich, but they will compete between each other in 2-3+ mirror tier items. Items which are like 100ex will definitely be nearby as more people will be able to buy them and less people can force prices.

a good example for the "fear of missing out" is the extremely boring but also extremely rewarding, is the map rushing in the harvest nodes regions and sell the crafts as a service.

Maaan, this league will be amazing. And again all the changes are more exciting than the league mechanic itself! They could have named it 3.14 REWORKED, but still .. I am hyped to try out the Mechanic and I am super excited to see the full changelog, if they changed the Atlas Tree... but all in all, this is gonna be crazy good again, at least from what they have announced. In the end its up to the community to find the most efficient farming methods, but it will be nice to just relax and play what you want. I was one of the players that felt the fear of missing out, I was trying to constantly stay on top the meta of efficient farming. With the Atlas Passive Tree it was already difficult to not make currency, now it will be even better. And thanks for the awesome video.

Excellent video. I think you hit the nail on the head when you talk about the repercussions of this: Monopoly, RMT and Stress. If this was really GGG's masterplan, then I am hopeful for the future. I haven't gotten into POE all that long ago. I dabbled with Bestiary a little bit, took a break, tried a bit of Delve league and then really started putting in some time since Metamorph. Yet I wholeheartedly agree with the stress factor that this game exerts on you. Relaxing and having fun just doesn't work that well when there is constant pressure from outside. Maybe you see some streamers generating at on of money, you find a youtube video on how to make tons of exalts, maybe you are in touch with a Discord community and start feeling bad once you hear how much money people generate. It's a shame but I guess it's human nature to compare yourself to others. If I am being honest, for most of the time of me playing Path of Exile I am under constant pressure and stress. I barely ever manage to farm the currency I need for my own builds. By the time I finish my atlas, people have been grinding the most profitable way to farm for weeks. But ultimately I also believe that it's simply my fault for not being able to tune out the constant noise. In any case I like the changes that I'm seeing and I'm excited to try the 3.14 league. Hopefully this will be one of these times where I can just lean back, play and get a decent income to max out my char(s).

The changes will make the game more fun in terms of drops for the non elites. I predict high end crafted item prices will skyrocket. By raising the floor and lowering the ceiling, or essentially raising minimum wage and putting a cap on the elites normal wage earning methods, the price of everything will go up. Example: currently gallon of milk $3 Raise minimum wage and the company who pays the laborers will increase customer cost to alleviate the burden of their increased cost. Milk/gallon $5

Maybe, but I'll just go and get it myself. That's the difference between Poe and RL... if you don't like groups of guys controlling the supply and demand, well, make a plan to get it yourself or try and find a way to play around it. That's my philosophy on it.

20:10 I think those are not possible,. beast only can be captured to every char in party if the char already inside the map during "first encounter/engange" I mean so lets say the scenario of main account mapping casualy then found split beast if the beast enganged or aggro the player at that very moment the beast only for the main account,..even if he disenganged and log in tp all his alt account none of the alt account will get the split beast when he captured it I hope they really did those near proximity idea of yours,thats really the best way I aggre Pardon for my bad english I hope it understanable

There will still be the same amount of people looking for those items but the supply will be lower, which might in turn even further increase prices or overall tone down the farming power.. With lower farming power a lot of people won't be able to make as much as they did even if the mechanics are buffed.
Actually the feeling I got every time when I play POE was : "I'm not good enouth". Seeing all the characters at the guides that are PUMPED with equipment, got all the good items and then there was I, without a headhunter or all the GG gz items. Not willing enouth to put my life into the game but still wanted to enjoy endgame. Some leages I played MANY hours but still wasnt good enouth to be the one who just farmed Elder etc. So this leage gives me hope, to actually find some good items and farm my maps and still progress on my currency or gear! This is also the reason I'm hyped of POE with the new skillgem system. I can feel that all the hardcore players will be turned off, but the much bigger group of casual players will find it pleasing! Also, POE is still so complex, what its makes so much fun! Even for the hardcore players, there are still enouth reasons to chase after that GG EZ items! :) This will be the first leage I'm hyped to play since... 2 years?!
Yep. I think SSF is the way this game should be played. I used to really enjoy trade but something about actually finding your own gear and putting together a build with whatever you find is awesome.
As one of these players that was having a hard time getting to end game content due to not being able to find/buy stuff... over all I like this. BUT...... I really feel the nerfs to crafting/harvest are going to make it so that things I could do myself before are going to require me to try and buy stuff from other players............................. *and trying to buy stuff from other players is a damn nightmare!* ( *Last league I spent 12HRs a day, 7 days a week, for 7 weeks trying to buy something and NEVER got a response from anyone* )

I do hope its a true risk vs reward. If someone is putting up a mirror, then they better be ready for the hardest content in the game. Something like Kosis soul eater with spinny labrinth traps everywhere.

This is cool but I miss being actually able to craft the items I want out of sheer effort with harvest. They need to bring it back to full strength. The loss of harvest and buffing of currency basically turns the economy into a money economy which is what path never wanted. Because no one is gonna sit there and trash their possible T1 items with an exalt.
I think part of the problem is that I have hundreds of hours in the game, yet most of these mechanics I've never heard of. Also, as silly sidenote, 23:20 aren't these technically cartels?
A lot of the changes are great for the SSF community. Wilson seemed to finially admit that not everyone enjoys buying gear but only finding it on their own. This makes this league much more interesting to me.
honestly, the whole reason why I quit the game was there was no one to play with seriously, the ceiling was too high, and there was no way of obtaining the required currency to progress your character's build legitimately.
like, what I mean by play with someone seriously is for example how you're progressing through your maps and everyone else seems to be doing something higher level or completely different.

The thing GGG should keep an eye on is that when you have a game run for a decade or more any kind of system in place is going to snow ball. Poe is a very active game, usually games are not that active because they run on phantom team for the online ones, which thank god wasn't the case with Poe. So it's definitely a strong point for Poe, but it also mean those systems are a bit out of hand now. I'm honestly a very strong proponent of a hard reset with Poe2 but i understand why they don't want/cannot afford to do it. But it is very much a concern.

Yep. Swapped to SSSF (semi solo self found. Aka private league with 3 friends) back in metamorph league. Don't think I'll ever play trade again. It's a shame there's no 'true' ssf mode where your character can't get moved to trade/standard but the drop rates of everything would be slightly buffed.
I would LOVE to switch to SFF. The major problem with that is that I'm an MTX whore and I can't get to 36 on my own. Now, if they changed the SSF reward levels to 8, 16, and 24 (like I've been asking about for a couple of years), I would go SSF a lot, or at least, start out SSF a lot.
This needs a follow up video to check how all this turned out.

About the STRESS thing, I always was upset when I couldn't do 60%+ delirious maps. I was really aware of how much effects this number could do to boost the tier of rewards that I could get, but then as soon as I realised this kind of impossibility I would quit the game out of frustration. BIG thanks to you for this video, I really really enjoyed it.

I've been waiting for your video. I watched a few other streamers but have been actively waiting for yours and am 100% not disappointed. You reacted almost exactly how I thought you would. I love the lower the ceiling and raise the floor method that GGG is finally implementing to dissolve [some of] the monopolies and reduce RMT. Can't wait for some league starters once we get patch notes.

@@gergobarta7498 but you will sell more enchants and a dedicated runner can now keep a lot of niche enchants. like say holy relic enchant is shit right, but you put it on geoffri helmet and it is 30ex. same for zombie and baron. or say arcane cloak and indigon. you can now keep multiple helmets in inventory, alpha, eye of inward, niche helmets, good bases, abyssus and you will get a something every single time. on top of that if that wasn't enough, you get to enchant boots for free now. people who dislike lab dislike it cuz of how boring it can get, it is not cuz of rng on enchants. lab will be even more profitable.

Something about the imprint. It says a split item cannot be imprint, but if the item was imprinted when was not splited it doesnt say cannot be restored. so it looks only that there is no need to enchant the item to prevent further splitting. or at least it seems to me.

Eyy, these changes are so good, now we need harvest crafts being itemized and I will be happy (i have a dope shield for my SST bleed glad, i need to remove life and add either hybrid armour/stun rec or hybrid armor/life or armor/block).
Let’s see how it goes, looks like some of the problems are getting addressed. I think ggg is doing pretty good these past two leagues, echo of the atlas already brought a lot of diversity in terms of farming strategies and looks like the next league will be even more possibilities. I personally hate doing one thing over and over just for profits because it’s boring
My friend and I were most excited by the item adjustments more than any other change in 3.14. Its always frustrated me how the most profitable things in PoE were almost always related to your ability to corner a market, like beast splits. Now that a lot of these things are nerfed and they have hopefully buffed the other areas significantly enough that mapping feels like its worth the time and not strictly worse than sitting in your h/o playing PoE Trade/spreadsheet simulator.
I'm really looking forward to 3.14 especially now that I have finally come to terms with the fact that old Harvest isn't coming back :(

Abyssal Scarabs won't be affected by the overall layout of a map the same way that Breaches and Legions behave. Your RNG at that point will be how many times the Abyss itself "procs" and spawns monsters, or turns into an entrance to an Abyssal depths. A worthy risk, honestly, when I tried the Abyss sextant modifier in my 100% delirious tower map watchstone combination.
Kinda sad that they added them this late in the game though, with PoE2 moving closer and all. But hey, I'm not complaining. This will at least ensure more monster spawns on whichever Glennach map will be the best candidate for 100% delirium runs.

I'm wondering what will happen to Cortex map prices (the most expensive part of The Feared). Was it high because people were multi-witnessing? Or was it high because it was rare?
On aura stacker there is a particular glove enchant that increased my total dmg by 30%... It's overlooked for some reason. I suppose since it's only useful for a very particular setup. However, a 30% MORE dmg enchant on gloves is super powerful.
Regarding the effect on the economy; if the floor has been raised then theoretically there will be more demand for higher(mid) tier items/services while simultaneously the top end supply is lower meaning that even though the 'top 1%' has been hindered the relative value of their time/investment should go up, at least slightly.

One concern though, that if everyone will start making more, will it not devalue the currency? As in - the inflation.

One of the big parts about lab enchants is that you can select the helmet after you see enchant so strong enchants get much more than 3x as common. Let's say berserk effect is highly desired on shaper helmet (50 ex) now the enchant is 3x as common but also if 10% of lab runners were yoloing onto that helmet now 100% of informed runners can choose between that helmet and maybe a fortify ritual base or a lions pelt for berserk effect instead of being locked in before seeing enchants and it ends up on a bone helmet. Now enchants are literally 6x - 1000x more available due to 3x more enchants offered and base selected after. Think of how many RMR alpha's howls we will have on market because people will have that helmet for when aura enchants show up.
Veiled mods that are unveiled on an item are now always the t1 equivalent veiled mod (some are even higher than before now).. plus they are not considered a bench craft anymore if you straight unveil.. so a possible open affix to bench craft on top after unveiling some items.. so yes, spamming a veiled chaos orb on a base with an ideally fractured t1 mod with guaranteed t1 veiled mod on top of having the chance at another bench craft is by no means game breaking right?

So to sum up, there will be no big increase of price item in case of harvest nerf, like item 20ex will be 80ex, because it will be much harder to craft something like this, but the price will be lower as less people have huge amount of ex at all, so ultra rich are still ultra rich, but they will compete between each other in 2-3+ mirror tier items. Items which are like 100ex will definitely be nearby as more people will be able to buy them and less people can force prices.

a good example for the "fear of missing out" is the extremely boring but also extremely rewarding, is the map rushing in the harvest nodes regions and sell the crafts as a service.

Hey Matth, been watching a number of videos you made on the economy. What are your thoughts about fractured fossils on juiced maps (delirious, blight encounter, fractured rare mods are nemesis or beyond, sextants are not consumed) in relation to all of the other changes?
that's just mapping fully juiced, i don't see a problem, it's not THAT good compared to what I spoke about in this video, like nowhere near as good

Small question, do you know if POE 1 items (in standard) will be useable in POE 2 (in standard) or will it really just be 2 separate games that launch from the same client ? POE 1 will probably be played less and less, and the items in standard will just go to oblivion. Thanks for your input on this !
Maaan, this league will be amazing. And again all the changes are more exciting than the league mechanic itself! They could have named it 3.14 REWORKED, but still .. I am hyped to try out the Mechanic and I am super excited to see the full changelog, if they changed the Atlas Tree... but all in all, this is gonna be crazy good again, at least from what they have announced. In the end its up to the community to find the most efficient farming methods, but it will be nice to just relax and play what you want. I was one of the players that felt the fear of missing out, I was trying to constantly stay on top the meta of efficient farming. With the Atlas Passive Tree it was already difficult to not make currency, now it will be even better. And thanks for the awesome video.

Excellent video. I think you hit the nail on the head when you talk about the repercussions of this: Monopoly, RMT and Stress. If this was really GGG's masterplan, then I am hopeful for the future. I haven't gotten into POE all that long ago. I dabbled with Bestiary a little bit, took a break, tried a bit of Delve league and then really started putting in some time since Metamorph. Yet I wholeheartedly agree with the stress factor that this game exerts on you. Relaxing and having fun just doesn't work that well when there is constant pressure from outside. Maybe you see some streamers generating at on of money, you find a youtube video on how to make tons of exalts, maybe you are in touch with a Discord community and start feeling bad once you hear how much money people generate. It's a shame but I guess it's human nature to compare yourself to others. If I am being honest, for most of the time of me playing Path of Exile I am under constant pressure and stress. I barely ever manage to farm the currency I need for my own builds. By the time I finish my atlas, people have been grinding the most profitable way to farm for weeks. But ultimately I also believe that it's simply my fault for not being able to tune out the constant noise. In any case I like the changes that I'm seeing and I'm excited to try the 3.14 league. Hopefully this will be one of these times where I can just lean back, play and get a decent income to max out my char(s).

I predict high end crafted item prices will skyrocket.
By raising the floor and lowering the ceiling, or essentially raising minimum wage and putting a cap on the elites normal wage earning methods, the price of everything will go up.
Example: currently gallon of milk $3
Raise minimum wage and the company who pays the laborers will increase customer cost to alleviate the burden of their increased cost.
Milk/gallon $5
Milk isn't a good example but the reasoning behind it isn't inherently wrong

Maybe, but I'll just go and get it myself. That's the difference between Poe and RL... if you don't like groups of guys controlling the supply and demand, well, make a plan to get it yourself or try and find a way to play around it. That's my philosophy on it.

I think those are not possible,. beast only can be captured to every char in party if the char already inside the map during "first encounter/engange"
I mean
so lets say the scenario of main account mapping casualy then found split beast if the beast enganged or aggro the player at that very moment the beast only for the main account,..even if he disenganged and log in tp all his alt account none of the alt account will get the split beast when he captured it

There will still be the same amount of people looking for those items but the supply will be lower, which might in turn even further increase prices or overall tone down the farming power.. With lower farming power a lot of people won't be able to make as much as they did even if the mechanics are buffed.

Actually the feeling I got every time when I play POE was : "I'm not good enouth". Seeing all the characters at the guides that are PUMPED with equipment, got all the good items and then there was I, without a headhunter or all the GG gz items. Not willing enouth to put my life into the game but still wanted to enjoy endgame.
Some leages I played MANY hours but still wasnt good enouth to be the one who just farmed Elder etc.
So this leage gives me hope, to actually find some good items and farm my maps and still progress on my currency or gear!
This is also the reason I'm hyped of POE with the new skillgem system. I can feel that all the hardcore players will be turned off, but the much bigger group of casual players will find it pleasing!
Also, POE is still so complex, what its makes so much fun! Even for the hardcore players, there are still enouth reasons to chase after that GG EZ items! :)

Yep. I think SSF is the way this game should be played. I used to really enjoy trade but something about actually finding your own gear and putting together a build with whatever you find is awesome.
As one of these players that was having a hard time getting to end game content due to not being able to find/buy stuff... over all I like this.
BUT...... I really feel the nerfs to crafting/harvest are going to make it so that things I could do myself before are going to require me to try and buy stuff from other players............................. *and trying to buy stuff from other players is a damn nightmare!*
( *Last league I spent 12HRs a day, 7 days a week, for 7 weeks trying to buy something and NEVER got a response from anyone* )

you need the "requirement" to say what the currency you can double is, so its not as crazy as it sounds

I do hope its a true risk vs reward. If someone is putting up a mirror, then they better be ready for the hardest content in the game. Something like Kosis soul eater with spinny labrinth traps everywhere.

It's Ritual V2 QoL (Quality of Life) League and I'm pretty stoked honestly.
This is cool but I miss being actually able to craft the items I want out of sheer effort with harvest. They need to bring it back to full strength. The loss of harvest and buffing of currency basically turns the economy into a money economy which is what path never wanted. Because no one is gonna sit there and trash their possible T1 items with an exalt.
I think part of the problem is that I have hundreds of hours in the game, yet most of these mechanics I've never heard of. Also, as silly sidenote, 23:20 aren't these technically cartels?
This update alone made me come back to the game.
A lot of the changes are great for the SSF community. Wilson seemed to finially admit that not everyone enjoys buying gear but only finding it on their own. This makes this league much more interesting to me.

honestly, the whole reason why I quit the game was there was no one to play with seriously, the ceiling was too high, and there was no way of obtaining the required currency to progress your character's build legitimately.
like, what I mean by play with someone seriously is for example how you're progressing through your maps and everyone else seems to be doing something higher level or completely different.

The thing GGG should keep an eye on is that when you have a game run for a decade or more any kind of system in place is going to snow ball. Poe is a very active game, usually games are not that active because they run on phantom team for the online ones, which thank god wasn't the case with Poe. So it's definitely a strong point for Poe, but it also mean those systems are a bit out of hand now. I'm honestly a very strong proponent of a hard reset with Poe2 but i understand why they don't want/cannot afford to do it. But it is very much a concern.

Fracture was always very good, it's jsut got limited usage since you can't mess with influenced items, which is problematic
