Ohhh, thats so good to hear. My great grandmother taught me how to sew when I was little, but I haven't done it in so long - it was honestly really nice to come back to it. And YES, I just found all of the stuff I need to do that strap tutorial. I will do my best to film that this weekend!

I'm glad you found this helpful! We have used them every day for over a year, and they are holding up incredibly. There's truly nothing I would have done differently with the curtains. Honestly, they make such a huge difference for us. It was 20 degrees out last night, we had our diesel heater on low in a 40 ft bus, and we were toasty, toasty. 100/10 recommend.

Did you use the warm window material for the divider between the front of the bus cab and the living area? Try to find the best solution to put in that area. Right now we just use a bed sheet. Not the best idea.
Hi Cheri! We don't have a divider between the cab and living area, but we did use warm windows to make curtains for all the cab windows and front door, which works great and gives you total privacy. You could use it to make a divider, but we just didn't need one. Good luck, it's pretty toasty everywhere right now!

Of course, thank you for watching it! And I can't remember exactly, because I made ours 2 years ago now. I want to say I left around 1-1.5 inches on the sides and more so on the top and bottom. I'm nearly positive I say in the video though. My process was cutting the warm windows material to the exact size of the window and then the top material to 3-4 inches of excess material. Window width = 21 inches, then warm windows 21 inches wide and top material 24-25 inches wide. Hope that's helpful!

The binderclips are a great idea. I always used pins.
I use pins on some projects, but the binder clips are so much easier, especially for material as thick as this!
