    So beautiful. I would put a nice little finish trim of some kind on the bottom, something with a little weight. This will help with privacy a little better when the wind is blowing. We did the same for ourselves. It allowed them to hang a little better, and stay closed a little better. But love the look!!!

    Enjoyed the video, Liking the camper reno so far. Looking forward to seeing the final product! I'm sure you both are much more excited to finish & get to use the camper :) ... Also, You made my day - because I saw 4 panels I liked at thrift shop $4 each, but didn't have $16 to buy them at the time. When finally got paid & went back, there were only 2 panels left. Now that you gave the name, I can order online from IKEA - Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

    Had that curtain rod in the past. If using it on drywall you NEED to use wall plugs if its a curtain you open and close a lot. I destroyed the wall of my rental when the whole thing was ripped out of my wall at least 4 times 😭😭😭

    These look great. Thanks for showing what they look like from the outside. Can you see through into the trailer at night time? You know when you have your lights on and are changing and think it is fine, but outside at the campfire they may see in or at least the shadows.

    Before you make the curtains for the rest of the camper, I’d wait until night and test them to make sure you can’t see in. After dark, turn a light on in the camper then go outside and try to see in.

    I know this is a year late and I probably will not be able to get an answer, but, how are you going to launder them? Will they hold up if you do a hand washing in the bathtub? Or are you going to have to remake your curtains? I love that tape, I have used it before but I've never laundered the curtains. Maybe you could unstick the tape, wash them and put new tape on? I guess I could do a test one. We called that stuff, stitch witchery! I love your curtains sweetie I always make mine larger so I can have more gathering but each of us has a different way!

    If you can see out then once you have the lights on inside you’ll be able to see in from the outside, so don’t walk around naked

    • @OurLittleNest
      @OurLittleNest  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sue Collado haha yes! These curtains I had in my old apartment for 6 years and i never had an issue with seeing in, they are thin but because they bunch and are not completely sheer they’ve been okay! But definitely not good enough for walking around nude 😂
