    Here's a Message to All My TH-cam "HATERS" Out There Who Like To Spam My TH-cam Videos with Negative Hateful Comments:
    "We're uploading great, fun, traditional, effective content that's purpose is to keep Traditional Chinese Martial Arts alive since Traditional Chinese Martial are currently dying! I have NEVER once advertised any of my videos! We have NEVER sponsored or put money toward any of our TH-cam videos. All our views, subscribers, and followers have found us organically on their own and our analytics say we have a 20 "Like" to 1 "Dislike" ratio! That's pretty good in my opinion! That means for every 2,000 people who watch our videos and hit "LIKE" only about 100 hit "DISLIKE". :) We get over 50,000 video views a Day and add 300 New Subscribers everyday!
    We get TENS OF THOUSANDS of comments everyday on our videos and lessons here on TH-cam! There is NO WAY I can read or respond to them all. I reserve about 1 hour each day to answer TH-cam comments and I try to get to as many as I can! My wife Pam answers a couple hundred emails everyday from people who email us at www.JakeMace.com.
    If you want to post your own videos about me on your channel then DO IT! I LOVE IT! If they're positive then that's great! If they're negative then that's great too! Live your life! My best!"

    Clearly a great teacher. The calmness that Kung Fu brings to your life is wonderful, but can only be truly realised with some proper commitment. And that is entirely the key to any martial arts. I had a wonderful Sifu a few years ago but had to move cities, and try as i have, there's been no substitute for my old Teacher, especially for the training of my mind. I'm teaching myself some staff basics from these videos though as i never really covered weapons, but these clips are working. Thanks for taking the time to make them and basically giving free classes Jake. I noticed some chat about haters, all i can say is they've clearly never been schooled by a genuine Kung Fu practitioner. The first thing i had to leave at the door was aggression. Once i learned to fight properly, i didn't feel the need to get in them.

    hello mister Jake, thank you so much for these videos. This one is a bit hard for me, maybe because I don't know if I'm doing it right or not. but can you please tell me when to know that you're doing it right?

  • @stanley7598
    @stanley7598 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Very good vid and great skills, however I prefer spinning the staff the other way. I suppose you'd call it leading with the thumb. It can get the same sort of speed as your way but even tho it's probably harder to perfect I prefer it as the staff doesn't spin downwards towards my head as your way does. The smallest loss of control and it gives you a serious whack across the head where the way I do it, if it comes near my head it'd hit my shoulder first which is a lot less painful. If you have any thoughts or reasons why I shouldn't do this then please tell me!
    Btw I love the rest of your vids and it was them that inspired me to learn kung fu! Thankyou!
