I got started nice and early in California and hopped three flights to eventually end up at an awesome hotel called Bista Eder in Hondarribia, Spain. From there Borja and Carlos from BasqueMTB took me out for a couple of days riding around the Basque Coast.

Hey Brian! Good to see you back in Spain. I had heard you were heading back there and now we get to see the videos from that trip. I love how you are opening with the travel aspect of your trip. Feels like we're actually going along for the ride.
1:21 - Dude, speaking strictly from a photographer's perspective, let me just say this is an amazing shot. You could frame grab that and it would make an excellent shot for a micro-stock photo site or something. This is beautiful.
6:25 - Okay, I understand that the camera can throw off the perspective and not give an accurate representation of your surroundings, but MAN you look awfully close to that edge!
7:19 - Now riding without a clearly marked trail like this would be super fun!
8:40 - Hey, Alex has cows in his latest video, too! Haha!
9:36 - Holy cow, we have seen a variety of vegetation already! Is that bamboo?
10:02 - I'm going to be in San Diego this week. I look forward to a ride or two while I'm out there. Can't wait to ride next to the ocean and get that "fresh sea air" as well.

I just found out that I will be in the Basque Country mid-March next year for work. Now I really want to extend my stay to do some MTB there. Not sure if they offer excursions around that time, but if they are, I'm in! Thanks for sharing.

Awesome vid. Love the travel stuff at the beginning. AND the fact you've got Shimano on that bike. Love Shimano. One of my fav things compared to Sram is the hard press double-drop you can do into a harder gear. Once you get used to it, it's just a little faster than having to hit the shifter 2x to jump 2 gears, which in turn makes you just a little faster. ;) Beautiful scenery.

Glad you got some sleep in finally. Nice views to start out another epic Spain bike trip. Nice bike as well, the trend seems to be going back to rear coil shocks. How you like the coil compared to your usual air shock
I think the coil is pretty damn good, I feel it the most on the hard technical climbs!

Come to Tyler, Texas and we'll hit Tyler State Park, Faulkner Park Trails, and Lindsey Park Trails. We can cover them in a day finishing it with some Stanley's BBQ. Then head a few hours northeast to Arkansas, or keep it in Texas.
