Hello! Thank you for listening my recordings! And hello to all classic music and Pogorelich fans! This is the very first one with Tascam DR-07, I would like to record better in the future, if someone use this and have more experience pls comment/give advice. Of course definitely better to go the Maestro's concert, the live performance is nothing to compare with the recording.

Thank you for this recording! I don't listen to this work very often, but had to make an exception for Pogo's return to it. His evolution continues to fascinate. He seems to have let go of some of his ways from the past decade or so (playing exceedingly slowly, focusing on how each note sounds separately). This season he seems to be following his heart, freely, prioritizing the content of the music. His sound especially in lyrical themes seems gentler and deeper than ever. I completely understand your tears - these are the moments we are reminded of why we love this music in the first place.

Thank you for your comment! The one word came up in my heart in this evening was "tenderness"..unconditional love care and devotion to something great: spirit, music humanity.... so pure and transparent (not personal sentimentality) when I heared this piece tears came out before I know. Just I couldn't believe what I was listening! So incredobly tender and deep yet so light (no human karma seems like) I thought: now I have no regret in my life I can die😊🥹

Very different approach from his 1981 recording, of course likely due to arthritis and other illnesses. However, he still has the strength to play in front of an audience after all the struggles.
