They don't really care enough about the earth to do anything but sometime go and mess with it. Cthulhu is sealed there but he's fairly weak in the grand scheme of things and was sealed by another alien race.

The super boss in Etrian Odyssey 3, the Abyssal God, is basically Cthulhu, but I don't think that's a fight anyone has ever won going in blind. Mostly people know all of its abilities and build a team specifically for it or soft reset to rig the AI because the boss fight is so hard. I don't think we can soft reset reality. At least we'll die with cool music though

The super boss in Etrian Odyssey 3, the Abyssal God, is basically Cthulhu, but I don't think that's a fight anyone has ever won going in blind. Mostly people know all of its abilities and build a team specifically for it or soft reset to rig the AI because the boss fight is so hard.
