Water Temperature - The Most Common Issue I Come Across

The water temperature should be set between 110 and 120. A very common issue we come across is that the shower setting is cold and as a result, someone has turned up the water heater way too high. That results in the room rest of the fixtures in the home, providing water that is way too hot. The water temperature throughout the home should be properly set and any mixing valves, most commonly found at shower should be adjusted to provide the appropriate temperature. If your water is just right at the shower and way too hot everywhere else it means that your shower valve is not appropriately set. Many think there is a temperature drop that is resulting in this issue but that is not typically the actual cause. There can be many reasons for temperature issues with the water in the home but this is by far the most common issue I see.
