Hello Fred, I am currently in Canada building a farm in the Volta Region, (Denu area close to Togo). I have 10 acres of land that I recently acquired, you are welcome to use it. I have another 2 plots that has structures already built, you can house some of your goats there with a signed contract. Having a sign contract will protect you and ensure that your goats are returned back to you once you find permanent accommodation. I am saddened by this news and I hope to hear from you soon.
Fred, this setback is a blessing. Sometimes a blessing does not look like a blessing ... but I see a blessing - abundant blessings from this experience.

Hi Fred, sorry to hear this unfortunate development. Contact the Regional Minister and Ministry of Agriculture for support to negotiate of with the Chiefs as a first step.
@FarmingInAfricaOfficial find a lawyer to take them to court for the court to put injunction on the land and give you enough time to move out. This is business, and no business can vacate their site in 2 weeks. You've spent a lot of money so the chief can pay you or give you time to leave. I guess you have a bigger land at Seikwa, so move the goats there even though there is still inconvenience. This is jealousy and stupidity to the 100th power. My advice to you is that wherever you go, please grease the chief and elders' palms at the end of the year. I contribute 2000ghs every year to the village where I live
@@gb6041 In West Africa there is a two step legal system. The government cannot override the local chiefs because they depend on them to encourage the people to vote for them. We have the same issue of community land in Sierra Leone
@melrosebrowne-morgan9330 you don't understand my point. Yes, the land is for the chief, but you can't give a business that has been in existence for 5 years, just 2wks to vacate. By the way, Fred owns the land and must be treated fairly
Thanks for being an inspiration. I want to encourage you to stand strong. If they are not sending you away from the farm, but only asking that you get rid of the goats, I'll suggest you figure away to relocate your goats to anothet farm for now. Then switch to farming another accepted livestock in this location while you figure away to establish your next farm for the goats. I really hope you bounce back from this stronger and even more energized.
OMG, this is a really sad news to hear Fred. Don’t lose hope everything will work out for your good. Please don’t give up or close the farm. If anyone watching that has access to the agriculture ministry in Ghana should share this with them. They may be able to help.
Fred, I know you will overcome this!!! Only in our own motherland, we always come across unwritten rules!!! That is so unfortunate!!! Like we always say in my language: THE ANIMAL THAT HAS NO TAIL, GOD WILL CHASE THE FLIES FOR IT!!!
The first door has to close before the second door opens. Let the door close so that the next door opens . God be with you. You will grow bigger from here.
Who are those talking about 'gods' hate goats??? Where were the so called gods all these years when you were building the farm? At least you need law enforcement involved to give you enough time to relocate the goats. In this day and age of civilization, such nonsense must be addressed via a civil court!!
Fred, you know that you have land waiting for you in Liberia. However, first thing first. I know that the village has its rules, but it isn’t a kingdom, that means, that there are laws that govern the whole of Ghana including your village. There should be a law that If the community allowed you without objections to being there openly bringing money and supporting the community with your goats farm for five years, they cannot just ask you to move overnight. Why now? Why no one stops you when you started. Get a lawyer and fight them. Our African villages always operate outside of the countries law, because we allow them to hold us hostage to our traditions that don’t make sense have of the time. From experience, it is not only in Ghana that this is happening it happens in other African countries also. The demon start to appear when they an African child is about something major, but I rebuke the satan and his followers that are trying to keep Africans down. I send Holy Ghost fire against them in the mighty of Jesus.
Oh my God, help this young man to overcome this heavy burden. This is wickedness and absolutely wickedness. For centuries they've allowed goats etc into the town so what's the difference?
Hello Fred, sorry to hear this. I am an upcoming farmer myself and I can understand your plights very well. My take: 1. I’m sure for a farm as large as yours, you’ll have a legal team. Get them involved to get an injunction on their action asap. 2. I have learnt that sometimes in the business world you must not be seen as a sheep or the wolves and lions will eat you for meat. If you bought the land I suppose there’s a deed which states what the land is for. And even if you leased the land, I supposed that there was an agreement to use the land for what it’s being used. They cannot therefore act blind and after 5yrs come and destroy your investment so fight for your land and your business. 3. This is Ghana and there will surely be someone in the municipality who can convince that chief or queen mother. 4. Sometimes for your own sake, you need to let give some people an ‘interest’ in your business. So try and see if you can structure a partnership with them so that they waive the supposed rule for you.
Well, these are all great points and honestly we have tried most of these but it is not leading anywhere. If you have any links or have a way to also help, do not hesitate to get in touch.
The probleme of going with legal route is risky because the villagers can retaliate and poison the grass, the well and even the goats. It is better to negotiate extra time and relocate the farm where there is no taboos.
Dear Fred, thanks for all your hardwork. I think you will be fine even with this setback, please dont say your farm has come to an end, Its just a new chapter, determine to succeed and stay positive regardless. Make it a learning experience and Push on. Take care and God bless.
Take it as a pinch of salt in front of God. My question goes to the Land. Fred did not buy the Land outright or renting. As land long as you have deed of land, the chiefs have no ownership again on the land. What happened to the grasses you planted on the land. Jealousy/enviousnes of your exotic goats. Anywhere, do not look back God will show you favor where you do not expect. If Nigeria is not far from Ghana, I would have given you my land if do not mind. I feel for you. Suppresses awaiting you. 🙏🙏🙏.
Fred, don't worry at all. I know it's hard, but if God wants to help you and open another window for you, then you will face challenges, but please don't panic or don't be sad. I definitely know your next 🐐 goats farm will multiply by 100 times. Fred, we all love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Fred, DON’T quit!
It’s a CHALLENGE and you are Bigger than that.
“Tough Times Never Last! But Tough People Do!”
You will get through this
This “challenge” is the making of a Great Man(YOU)
This is another heddle or obstacle you have to overcome. You will overcome. This story will even inspire, transformed and education generations to come after you’ve come through to the other side. Keep the faith will be cheering 📣 you on.
True at least the goats are alive. Read story of Nogqawuse Xhosa queen who starved people by asking them to kill all animals and burn grain field
Thank you so much, your support means a lot to me
Hi Fred! Please report the case to the regional Minister and the Agric Minister to intervene.
We’ve already done that. Doesn’t look like they can do much
Manhyia is the only option
Report the matter to Manhyia
Following you from Kenya this is interesting, I didn't know traditional chiefs have such powers over communities.
WE SHOUD DO A GOFUNDME TO HELP FRED RESETTLE TO ANOTHER FARM, JUST A SUGGESTION. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?
That’s so kind of you. Thanks 🙏🏾
Hallo Fred wir alle helfen dir, mach dir keine sorge wir alle sind mehr stark als diese könig oder was alle heisss.schande schande.afrika😢😢😢😢
Not everything is go fund me.he is not a poor man.he can afford.go fund should be for very needy people not well off people.❤
Mr Fred take heart, God will take control of the situation, i will personally put in my prayers
Thanks very much
Is it possible to move the goats elsewhere and keep the structure for a second adventure? Perhaps trade some of the goats for sheep or similar livestock allowed in the community?
Yeah that’s what we’re contemplating now
Don’t give up. Use this as an opportunity to flourish. Sail higher don’t be afraid or defeated. You will pull thru
This is absolutely unbelievable.
Aaow Africa 🌍
I love Fred.. he is calm despite the storm. Can't he be given a bigger n better farm or funding to start all over. Can we tag international conservation and Agriculture donors. Can we have an online meeting
That’s a great idea.
I am from the Gambia 🇬🇲 you inspire me. Africa and our taboos, that's y we are so poor and backward.
We will continue to pray for you and your team. This really breaks my heart
It’s shall be fine Fred. You will bounce back better. Keep your faith in God!!!
Hi Fred, sorry to hear this unfortunate development. Contact the Regional Minister and Ministry of Agriculture for support to negotiate of with the Chiefs as a first step.
We have tried that but it doesn’t seem like much can be done.
How about putting sheeps rather and move the goats somewhere?
@FarmingInAfricaOfficial find a lawyer to take them to court for the court to put injunction on the land and give you enough time to move out. This is business, and no business can vacate their site in 2 weeks. You've spent a lot of money so the chief can pay you or give you time to leave.
I guess you have a bigger land at Seikwa, so move the goats there even though there is still inconvenience. This is jealousy and stupidity to the 100th power. My advice to you is that wherever you go, please grease the chief and elders' palms at the end of the year. I contribute 2000ghs every year to the village where I live

In West Africa there is a two step legal system.
Wow amazing! So sorry for your plight. Now we have look at community myths and custom whilst checking suitability of land for farm. So stress3
just keep the faith Fred things will work out, its a big setback but you will pull forward again 💪 🙏
Thank you
Thanks for being an inspiration.
Thanks. I’m not giving up 💪🏾
Always followed and never subscribed and as support through you just earned one more subscriber. Hang on and fight on.
Thanks 🙏🏾
This is so sad I am so sad to hear this but you shall overcome
Taboos in these villages throughout Africa will keep people in poverty and stagnant in growth.
Yeah that’s true
The first door has to close before the second door opens. Let the door close so that the next door opens . God be with you. You will grow bigger from here.
I just finished watching this video and sadder than ever. These Chiefs amazingly wicked. No Semashia farms will not end.
Thanks. We will continue doing our best to improve livestock farming
Really it's painful i feel the pain you are going through. May God send angels to lead you to anew destiny of fruits.
Who are those talking about 'gods' hate goats??? Where were the so called gods all these years when you were building the farm?
At least you need law enforcement involved to give you enough time to relocate the goats. In this day and age of civilization, such nonsense must be addressed via a civil court!!
Book a meeting with your country's minister for Agriculture ASAP, so he takes you to the president..i think something can be done
Thanks very much Rachel 🙏🏾
Oh my God, help this young man to overcome this heavy burden. This is wickedness and absolutely wickedness. For centuries they've allowed goats etc into the town so what's the difference?
Hello Fred, sorry to hear this. I am an upcoming farmer myself and I can understand your plights very well.
My take:
It is better to negotiate extra time and relocate the farm where there is no taboos.
unfortunate but true.. you really don't want your workspace to become a war zone...
Dear Fred, thanks for all your hardwork. I think you will be fine even with this setback, please dont say your farm has come to an end, Its just a new chapter, determine to succeed and stay positive regardless. Make it a learning experience and Push on.
Take care and God bless.
Thank you very much
Take it as a pinch of salt in front of God. 🙏🙏🙏.
Thanks for the support 🙏🏾
Fred, don't worry at all. I know it's hard, but if God wants to help you and open another window for you, then you will face challenges, but please don't panic or don't be sad. I definitely know your next 🐐 goats farm will multiply by 100 times. Fred, we all love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well, if I buy land in Africa, it will NOT be in Ghana. First, i hear of african american religious group had their houses torn down last year, now this.
Hmmm. This should not discourage you.
My brother, take heart, it is well. I have already called your store number trying to reach you.
I m located in Offinso in Ashanti region. I have 6 acres land I m working on. Farm house 5 rooms ready, goat house ready, and a pig pen ready 20 rooms.
Count it your last resort bro. You can move in until you get things situated. FREE.
I lived in the US, But I started the farm because you inspired me.
Good luck bro, and cheers to more success.🎉
Thanks very much. I do suffragist the kind gesture 🙏🏾
I bought 2 acres land in this same town
Built a place for caretakers to sleep
Built a concrete wall around the whole land
Drilled and mechanized a borehole
Drew electricity to the place
Bought a standby power generator in case of power outages
Just to start goat and sheep farming
Then boom this incidence happened
I nearly ran mad.
But I’m still thinking through what to do on that piece of land.
Wow. Can you get in touch with us on +233241177677. Please let our agents know your name and your story
So so so sorry to hear of your situation may God grant strength
Fred, keep fighting and appeal to the highest law office in Ghana. Men dont just let go.🇰🇪
Courage my brother...
God will surely turn this out to your favour.
Be strong bro. This situation will become a blessing at the end. God is always in control and HE knows what is best for us. There's always a good reason for whatever happens.

It is really heartbreaking but be strong for a know a miracle is on the way. It will not come to an end. Don’t give up hope. God is in control
Sorry, I feel Yr pain. May God help you to overcome this situation
Though i have heard bout this disturbing news last week, and everyday i have been checking out, hoping to hear a good news about extending more time to evacuate, but seems not coming forth. i just know you are going to stand up taller from all these happenings. It has always been a worthwhile time learning from you and i just want you to keep strong. God will see u through all these tribulations and see you through
Thank you very much. Your support means a lot
Indeed a sad story for us all. 😢 but God knows best and Fred Don’t give up this is the beginning of something great.
Thank you. I won’t
Bro you’ve inspired me to enter into goat farming though I’ve not started yet but I’ve all arrangements in place.
Please I’ve 25 acres of farmland not too far from your area. It’s in Wamanafo . If interested we can discuss it so you use it to your herds as you plan on your next step of action
This is heartbreaking. Some of us are looking up to you guys to come and invest. This a big set back for you and all of us but trust me this is a major breakthrough as well. Stay focused your toil will not be in vain
Hi Fred.cheer up. Wish all the best🎉🎉🎉 from Mohamed Senegal
Thanks Mohammed
I honestly am shedding some tears this morning, as I usually would make sure I go through your TH-cam page to see if there is a new video from you, even before I start work, as I usually get to work at 5 am, only to see this video. But I must say it is well, and this is certainly not the end of Semenhyia Farms. God certainly will make a way here, soon.
Certainly we hope this isn’t the end. Thanks for the support
So sad to hear my brother...i only came across you for the 1st time two weeks back now its so sad to hear this heartbreaking news. Things get very dark b4 the light starts to shine my bro dont give up u have inspired a generation. Much love from South africa
Thank you very much and i'll always be there for all.
That's really sad news . It is really a big set back for us all. Bro I know is too hard, but please don't give up. Be strong bro. I wish you all the best. You are our motivator .we are with you Allah guide us. Am Kyere
This is not the news we would have loved to hear from you, Fred. But then, I will say take courage and take heart, for this is the beginning of your greatness. Though very sad news, I am convicted that this incident will catapult you into a more flourishing land than this one. You will come back much strong. Long live 'Semanshia farm' and God bless Fred. With you in prayers.
Thank you very much! Words like these keep me going. Much appreciated
OUR PRAYERS GO OUT YOU AND TEAM. STAY STAY STRONG THIS IS GOING TO BE OK.
Thank you. We appreciate it
Hi Fred, please stay strong. I hope you get a solution as soon as possible. It shall be well.
Thank you
I am speechless and saddened by this news. Me leaving in the Diaspora and thinking of investing in Agriculture as well in my home land Cameroon, this scares me alot because this can happen to anyone.
Good Luck my brother.
God will see through.
Don't give up. Fight this case out, surely there must be a solution to this problem. You may contact traditional council
Thank you for the advice.
This not easy hmmm 😢😢 but don’t give up Fred. Please don’t give up.
Thanks. I won't
God will always make a way. Just be courageous bro. Don't allow it get to you.
Fred I must confess your goat farming inspired me to start the goat farm in large scale I was rearing like three to four goat before came across your farm...it's saddened bcos u r a role model in this goat farming business
I am happy to hear that. Where is your farm?
@@FarmingInAfricaOfficial Kwara state Nigeria ilorin to be precise, have got six plot of land which 50by 100ft per plot hoping to start fulling in this coming raining season to be able to produce my own feed
I am so sorry 😞 I wish you all the extremely very best!! In developed countries, small framers are always encouraged, but in Africa, this kind of nightmare is a reason some African countries can't progress,
Fred! You need to meet with the minister of agriculture ASAP and ask for his assistance. 8:40
