    That pop up tent looks really useful for the cold weather installs!

      The white one wasn't very strong fabric wise. I've used my black one in the snow many times. Sure helps hold the heat though!

    @unwindingroads at 9:19 it looks like you have 2 pods and the halo on, how did you do that with the wiring. I can only get 4 pods and the halo or just the halo. Thanks

    • @UnwindingRoads
      @UnwindingRoads  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's with the amber lens on. It makes it look like 2 pods are on. It's actually just the halo that's on there.

    I have the 3 inch halo podlights but where did ypu connect the green and yellow wire? I dont have auxbeam panel thingy

    • @UnwindingRoads
      @UnwindingRoads  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No need to use those wires if you are using the switch they came with. You could tie those into your day time running lights or high beams. But no need of you use the switch.

  • @Socaljeeping
    @Socaljeeping 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Thanks for the video. I just ordered these for my gladiator. Question, I have the factor auxiliary switch panel. Should I crimp the yellow and green together and then attach to my aux wire? So it would be the two novsight wires connecting to the one mopar aux wire.

    • @UnwindingRoads
      @UnwindingRoads  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No need to use the at all. They're just for wiring then into your highbeam and day time running lights. From what I remember...... You're going to love them!

    • @UnwindingRoads

  • @chuckisbusy

    The oracle tail lights fog up on you? Are you gona go with the Combat Offroad tail gunner tail light?

    • @UnwindingRoads
      @UnwindingRoads  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow Chuck! You are good! The current tail lights keep burning out on me. Some of the leds just quit its so annoying. The Combat Offroad lights look like the best quality you can get. They're made of metal which I'm sure you know.

    • @chuckisbusy
      @chuckisbusy ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@UnwindingRoads Sorry to hear that. You think it’s quality control? Or the temp/conditions that’s killing the light? Those tail lights look killer with their new Racetrack tailgate LED light. Combat Offroad are excellent, just expensive.

    • @UnwindingRoads
      @UnwindingRoads  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chuckisbusy it's definitely quality control. Every single person thst I know that had them has run into problems with them. Which sucks because they look great. Their customer service seems to be good for some and not good for others. They always warranty my lights, I just have to pay shipping. I haven't had any issue with their customer service. Just the lights themselves are awful. Ryan at Combat Offroad seems like a great guy. This is a company I'd love to support so far in breif conversation with him.

    are these spot lights or spot/flood combo?

    • @UnwindingRoads
      @UnwindingRoads  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      These are spot flood combo. I was told that the spot lights will shine farther down the road. Our roads here are pretty thick forest so we can't see that far anyway.

      I dont want them to be on the hood my only option is front grill r bumper

    • @UnwindingRoads
      @UnwindingRoads  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aounsflock2071 these combo lights are just on or off. Flood and spot come on at the same time. Yes that's the on with spot and flood. They shoot very wide. The spot beam would be as wide as a flashlight but 670m down the road.

      They can be, but probably better to get some kind of bar to mount them to. Not sure how you'd mount them to the grill itself without some sort of bracket...
