- In this video we show you how to make some homemade Disney World recipes - ones that we remember as being quite iconic during our visit to Florida a few Years back - we make homemade dole whip (a sort of tropical sorbet) and some delicious mac and cheese bacon topped hot dogs! Ingredients
Dole Whip
125ml Water
150g Sugar
500ml Pineapple juice
Juice of ½ a lime
Bacon Mac & Cheese Hot Dogs
8 Hot dog buns
8 Hot dogs
450g Cheddar cheese, grated
520ml Milk
3tbsp Butter
2tbsp Flour
300g Macaroni pasta (pre-cooked to package instructions)
4 bacon rashers, chopped into small pieces
Salt and pepper to season

We have jerky dust in the US. I don't remember what its called but its packed in tins so it looks like chewing tobacco.

I love how you never tell your daughters that they can't do anything and always encourage them and let them try and learn even if they are not perfect yet. That is some great parenting there!

You guys should really do a Disney cuisine! Trying out different recipes from the movies like “the grey stuff” from beauty and the beast, “gumbo” from the princess and the frog, breakfast rice from Mulan, the cake from sleeping beauty, butterbeer from Harry Potter etc........... that would be awesome!!
You do realise that Harry Potter is not from Disney, right? Otherwise great ideas, would love to see them, especially the gumbo.
"The grey stuff" is probably some type of liver (or other meat) paste (pâté) given that it was presented among other savory things.
I think he's not done that as its what Binging With Babish is known for

I love Dole Whip so it'd be great to give that a try myself. Interestingly, Nandos in the U.S sell it as a desert too.

I got this cookbook from my sister in law and can’t wait till I see her so we can make these !! We have many matching cookbooks and only cook them together. Great times
I've been pining to go back to Disney World a lot recently, since I was there for my honeymoon literally RIGHT before the US locked down initially for Covid, and this video is great to help both fuel that and help relieve the wait.
Also, if you want to try more flavors of Dole Whip, if you can ever go back, at the Polynesian Resort, there's a place out back called Pineapple Lanai that does Lemon and Lime as well!

I buy Tropicana orange juice all the time. Love it. Had no idea they make pineapple juice. I always just bought the Dole pineapple juice.

I'd like to see another video like this. i know there's also a steak that's from critter country and some sort of, pie from Orleans square, it had peaches so i didn't eat it. i went to the pirates area, this is what i remember at Disneyland. at the pirates area, i had a roasted apple.

The Dole Whip float is served with pineapple juice. Try that as well.
Mac n cheese hot dogs is what we used to call dinner before payday. 🤣🤣🤣
We had dole whip on top of pineapple upside down cake and dole whip float when we went and they were just amazing - you need to try it :)

ProTip: You can make the sugar dissolve faster by measuring it out and then blitzing it into a powder in a spice grinder. Larger amounts may mean working in batches, but I just like the ease with which it melts into any liquid. This trick also works for having the cleanest-tasting whipped cream you've ever eaten.
The tiki room, it was out of order for a while and for us Mulan was a bit of a mood on one of our last trips. Oddly enough I live about an hour from disney and never had a dole whip! I miss pre pandemic cause we're not going back 😫
I haven't been to Disney World since I graduated high school. What I wouldn't do to go back with my kids. This however , will do until I get there. 😁😁

We always had to have a Dole Whips when we would go to the parks (even though Magic Kingdom was out to injure me every time).
So at disneyland in california. That dole whip is at the enchanted tiki room.
And at Animal Kingdom and the Polynesian Resort, you can get Dole Whip with rum.
