This is really well said. At the end of the day both wrestlers have responsibility for ensuring their matches turn out well. Obviously Goldberg will bear most of the blame. However Taker deserves some as well. Both guys seem to acknowledge the situation and their own shortcomings. I get a kick out of everyone who craps on Goldberg for botching the Jackhammer while completely ignoring Undertaker botching the Tombstone.

There’s other wrestlers who had the same problem with Owen not hitting his knees when performing the tombstone, even when he was asked to do so. Owen was reckless and Owen was dangerous. It’s a shame that Owen died but it doesn’t change anything.
