In American it'll be High Church over National issues & Low Church in Local.
Low Church Christians like Baptist, Non-dom, etc Simp for Thomas Jefferson/Paine, Reagan & Adam Smith to much to be trusted with statecraft & economics
They follow the enlightenment more on Individualistic Reason which plays in their faith as it's more about individual human reason over christian tradition when reading the bible
High Church like Catholic, Ortho, Trad-Lutherans, etc hold more thought out social teachings
More family/communal centric, as we have Parishes
Better at organizing which plays out in charity, etc
Favor the American System, low church is late to the party but Trump showed them a the vibe

according to catholic doctrine, you're not allowed to oblige someone to be catholic. You can only try to make certain values be incentivized and others disincentivized. And try to protect certain principles in a society. We Catholics are ruled by God through the church, because we don't consider the government to have supreme authority on saying how we should live, or on morals and principles. And we subject to the church willingly. To be in favor of imposing principles of natural law, is not the same as trying to oblige people to be religious. Natural law is the basic. Pagan societies also had natural law.
If you have a government that all agrees in their views, then that society will be run by that view. There's no such thing as separating religion from state completely. Everyone believes in something, even if it's some kind of philosophy or ideology. We can't have someone rule a society and expect them to act different from the principles they believe in.
that's why, if you have pious catholic rulers, that society will be guided by catholic principles on how a society should be run. If you think it can be compared to islam, then I recommend you go study sharia, and then compare it with the social doctrine of the Church.
