Edit: don't worry about the conures going to the blue napes cage! They are curious and that is how they will become friends. They will be protective each of their own spaces forever unless you let them explore somewhat. But don't let them out for ten days while you are gone because you will not be there to monitor! Monitoring and correcting negative behavior is what is key! In fact give them seeds when they go in the cages and do not attack each other! End of edit! I love seeing your family as you tour them through your home, all their aw at everything and reactions! Thank you for sharing this with us! I just know they are all so proud of you and want to visit often! Still watching at the beginning and can't wait to see all the birds flying!!! I'm at the part where you are feeding them breakfast! Edit: okay WOW!! Just amazing, seeing their growth every step of the way is so exciting! I felt your joy once rojo landed and sll 3 were perched on your arm! So wonderful! Also- Billy is a silly billy! 😂 I love goats and their natural weirdness and goofiness!
It is definitely not a good idea to let the Conyers walk on top of the cage of the blue nape Amazons. You'll find this out real quick They have a tendency to bite off toes which leads to perching problems and to vet bills. So you're supposed to train your birds to stay off of each other's cages. That is a problem with the navery where you can't really watch the birds and make sure they're not walking on another bird's cages. It's also sometimes a good idea to switch out birds between cages so they don't get too cage possessive
Another great vlog!! Getting to see the Cousin's visit was spectacular! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, ya'll make the best family!! And we got to spend a little time with the little dogs!! I've missed them! I'm totally agog over those little birds. They've been waiting for this, and it's clear they already have a bond with you. I almost think if you were to have them out and then go upstairs and call to them from the window, they would fly up. I think you're the "main attraction" there, Mikey. Adding a lightweight perch at the very top sounds like a great idea. I get a sense they'd surely fly up there to chill in the sun. I'm so excited for you that the project in Cebu is starting up. I see that as a huge new plateau in this career you've built for yourself. Thanks for sharing all this; I love these longer vlogs. Ya'll stay safe, and I'll see 'ya next time!
Best episode ever. Many happy laughs. I was in the grocery yesterday and there was a dad of triplets at the checkout. The entire time I was checking out I could hear him trying desperately to control his three kids...reminds me of Mikey trying to film AND manage his three toddlers.
I don't know why but watching birds fly is such a wonderful thing, it makes me emotional every time. The same happens when watching BirdTricks videos about free flying, it's so special.
Such fun! The blue-napes are wonderful, but my heart is with the conures. 🥰 Their crazy energy is so much fun to watch, and they are so affectionate. I loved seeing Ruby preening you, and I was so excited when Rojo perched on you and ate from your hand. 😍 I love the idea of a perch/branch at the top of the cage, and I think you might want to get a free-standing perch at ground level, in a good place for you to interact with them. Once all the birds are free you aren’t going to be able to move with all of them competing to perch on you. 🤣 Most of all, it is wonderful to see your love and respect for these amazing creatures. 😁
I love that hidden bathroom and yes it's a wonderful feeling when birds trust you. They are going to have so much fun in the beautiful aviary. Glad you answered about why 3 birds.
The Conures sure wasted no time in exploring the aviary. It's nice to see that they trusted you immediately that they started perching on you not too long after they went out the cage, with even Rojo being confident enough to perch, as shy as he is. And putting some long branches in the upper levels of the aviary sounds like a good idea. I agree with the comment saying that putting more plants higher up will encourage them to fly up into the upper levels.
You have literally created exactly what I want one day. I want an aviary as I think there is another level of joy you get from watching birds in something close to their natural habitat. I know Im replying to this late, but regarding when you leave them - set up cameras. There are fairly cheap surveillance cameras on Amazon from a company called "Wyze". They are around $40 bucks each in Canada so probably around $25 - $30 USD. They are not as good as Nest cameras.. but they do the trick. You can encase them in something the birds can't break - and set up 2 - 4 angles - where if you are not home you can monitor roughly what is going on inside the aviary from your phone.
Oh waouh, it is just incredible how the conures come on you ! I just can't believe it. And how Rubis is pressing her beak on you ! Just incredible. They shoukd be wilder ! How lucky you are. And how patient also. And it is strange how the blue naped parrot don't say anything. They could cry to get your attention and go out of their cage, but no...and you are so Lucky they late your phone. My parrot bites my phone as soon as i take it. Can't wait to see the next vlog
Again Wow! I'm beyond amaze and happy to see the conures fly and explore and Roho befriending with you!!! No words can say more but Cheers from start - good to see the cousin squad again-, and Cebu project- oooh la la, to finish of today's vlog. Cheeeeerrss!!! Btw, hopefully someday blue napes and conures will enjoy the aviary together in peace.
In one instance, I imagine you as like Disney Princesses' that talks to animals. Love your enthusiasm towards animals, Mikey! Nakakahawa ang love mo sa kanila. 🤗🧡
Awwww made me teary eyed seeing the conures sooooo happy to be out! It makes me so darn emotional every time I see birds fly. It is a sight to behold. 💜
What about using the safest possible product, thin hemp rope. It's natural, not too heavy (if it falls) & it's not all that expensive to replace, if the birds destroy it. Just some food for thought. XO Think you should ;leave the conures out! They've waited so long & done so well. If you force them to go back in & close the door they'll hate it. Notice how they're sleeping on the door? They don't wanna be trapped again. They attacked BECAUSE they were trapped inside of their cage & they were jealous you never let them out! They will be fine now that they aren't stuck inside their cage & YOU are finally giving _them_ attention now. You see, once they're all out. Everyone will be fine & very happy.
I always enjoy I haven't seen Roy and his family I always enjoy raw and his family when they're around I haven't seen him in a good while I hope they're fine give them my love families everything
Awh... as amazing as it was to see the reds all out flying round enjoying the Aviary n landing on u n interacting up close n personal, when our shy lil baby boy did it, it was truly another level of happiness for me so I totally get ur reactions n pride w/them, all ur time n patience & hard work paid off n spades... As always u never do anything 1/2 way....😉💞
Maybe you can make the fountains like ponds. I lived in BKK before and in my apartment lobby and several places around, they have fountains and ponds made of cement/rocks/pottery which are the size of what you have. And what they did is they fill it up with rocks, water plants and small fishes I assume are guppies. I've never seen anything similar before. Then now I realized, when I came back here, that the guppies prevent mosquitoes because they eat the larvae. Maybe those fountains maybe turned into that. Just an extension of rhe beautiful greenery but may also be an enrichment for the birds as well as a bird bath.
WoW! I am also a bird's pet owner; they look so amazing and are jealous of your beautiful aviary. Luxury home for pet birds. I see many glasses around that Birds can't see and are prone to injuries. They might oversee them. Only one wing injured is a lifetime injury for them. Watch them closely. Good job, Mickey!
oh my goooosh its so lovely seeing them bond so quickly with you!!! most especially seeing rolo warm up to you ❤ these aviary videos are truly the best and so easily make my day. you are such a lovely ray of sunshine mikey!!!!!
Wow. How cool to see the difference between the 2 species exploring the aviary. It was so great how natural the conures seemed. It's worth thinking about ate Elsie letting out the blue napes while your gone so they have more time to get comfortable and acclimate to the aviary. Also it would be awesome to have a wooden rail/perch completely surrounding the inside perimeter of the chicken wire on top,so when your on the roof deck they can perch anywhere and watch you and be a part of it. Awesome video mikey, loving it
Amazing! What a beautiful site to see all of them them in your arms. I cant wait until all of them are flying in the aviary. Hopefully they don't fight.
Super nice I was waiting for this upload! Good idea hanging some purches way up there! This way you will also be able to interact with eachother when you would be on the toof terrace. And ofcourse this will enrich their habitat as well! Also I would suggest placing some jungle hanging plants from the top down. That would look so cool!!
To finally see the mabuhay squad farm house nearing completion is so exciting so many of us have watched all the way from the beginning to now and to see the house now brings all of us so much joy and we are so profundity of you and RJ for going through so much to build this amazing farm house, loving the Vlogs, thank you for being my daily dose of positive vibes
0.0 despite of the space the birds have.. They still come to you 👌 really means that you're a part of their flock and that they really trust you that much 👏👏👏
Your conures are my bias Mikey, coz I used to have one and they are the sweetest birds!! I am so happy they were finally flying around your beautiful and majestic aviary! 👏🏻😀❤️
i am team BOTH BIRDS! 💖achievement unlocked indeed with Rojo. oh what a productive day indeed. love seeing all the cousins reunited as well, sleepover vlog soon? 😃
I really dont mind the length of the videos. Coming in, i knew the video will be relaxing, fun, and feel good. This is the type of video i like to play while im doing something and it just keeps me smiling as I start my day! You share your joy of taking care of your birds with us and it just comes accross so naturally!
You should beam….and I just can’t choose between 2 beautiful teams…..no hierarchies! 🎉 You continue to be a wonderful bird parent caring for your fledglings. Ligaya would be so proud of you!❤
You can do swings from the roof of your aviary (other sections)! A replaceable perch (wood) that you can thread through thin chain (or rope) hanging or whatever is available. Two or three at different lengths. I do it for my chickens. I didn't even need to train the chickens. It simulates swinging branch.
Another mini movie, THANK YOU, just finished watching and I am watching again, the birds are so ADORABLE, Ruby giving you LOVE BITES reminds me of my departed BIRD MAX that is TOTAL TRUST FROM THIER END, know that feeling soooooo well, BIRDS are the BEST once you are able to establish TOTAL TRUST,,you should have a separate blog later for the BIRD AVIARY CHANNEL,,rewatching again , BIG THANKS, HUGS TO RJ ALSO, both of you are the reason why this all come into reality, please keep this kind of blog coming, watching all the way from MANHATTAN NEW YORK
I used to have a Quaker parrot. When he bit me, I would gently put him on the ground immediately. Since he preferred to be held and to get attention from me, this deterred him from biting as often. He was smart and figured it out pretty well. Also, birds that are nippy may be easier to deal with if you hold a thick perch or branch for them to land on instead. Lovely birds and aviary!!
I’ve never seen birds feel so comfortable so quickly, even with the blue napes. Awesome!! Are you eventually going to put the paintings in your entertainment room?
Congratulations on the perfect release of the gorgeous conures And of your new project. I've been here for years so I'm pretty sure what it is. Congratulations
Sorry, Im making more comments. Get the maker of your fountain to make an insert that is like an upside down lid (or basin, very shallow) with a hole to poke through the fountains, have a plastic screw underneath to hold it steady. The edges of that insert should sit on top of the bowls' edges (overlap) That should be an easy top to clean. Just remove it to wash. I hope you can picture what I mean. Imagine a pot when a lid sitting on it but upside down. On hot sunny days your bird will use it and dance on it. :)
Yes, that is exactly the attachment he made. It's brilliant but it's a bit hard to remove every day to clean. I think I may make the fountains a special occasion thing or only use the shallow fountain on most days.
Hey Mikey i love the aviari just was wondering why you dont have any branches between the 2 and 3 floor for the birds to perch on so you really use all of the space❤
OMGEEEE (same comment as the other days vlog) !!!!! I’m sooooo excited! We have all been waiting so long for this. I know that you are just soo stoked. They look so Good. They trust you!! This whole thing just WOW WOW WOW!!! It’s been such a long time coming and they love you! ☺️🐜🍎🐶🦜🏡💞💞
It’s nice to see you interacting with your new birds ❤ Ps: Interesting fact that I wanted to share about birds is that, the bigger birds can cover more distance with one flight, because they don’t flap their wings so much. These large birds move through the landscape primarily by soaring-a style of flying where they hold their wings outward and rarely flap, saving them considerable energy. Instead of flapping, they rely on rising air currents to gain altitude. The smaller birds flap their wings a lot faster than that. American hummingbirds average around 53 beats per second in normal flight.
The ultimate experience! Really enjoy the smaller birds free and exploring. Love to see more of them flying and exploring the aviary. Great video logs! Domt mind the length at all 👍🏻
I was glad to see your friends and spending time there in the mobile high school at home it was so happy when I saw them step through the door it was like as the dog says welcome
How cute was it to see Cocoa when she entered the house go up to RJ & ask, "Uncle, Bless me". Adorable. Ok, now, when are you going to have Edmark build you a traditional pizza oven? What are you waiting for? 😆
As always ty for sharing amazing adventures.. I've been around for a long time n I love it. From the apartment to planning a home to a actually be in it and experience what you invisioned is priceless. All the gigs u had to do n worked very hard for what u have..
Love watching your videos. The aviary that you have built is amazing. The conures look like they are really going to enjoy flying around in there. Just a thought...maybe the STEP Up command could be used to have the birds perch on you and when you want them down chance the command to STEP DOWN. So they can differentiate between the two commands.
Hey Mikey, I'm really happy for you. Seeing you enjoy your animals and your dream home is great. I know you and RJ have worked hard for this in all of your various projects. I've been wanting to see the birds flying in the aviary too.
Awwwww, this was so good!!!! Everyone has flown in the aviary. Yay!!! 👏👏👏 I was smiling from ear to ear, watching you be so happy, interacting with the birds. ❤ Personally, I LOVE the long vlogs. 🙂
You know the farmhouse is the place to be when you get a blessing of pee from Goddess Miranda 😂 Ah yes, the ant room into a dance studio...bet that's what all the ants and roaches do when you're not filming for AntsCanada!
That awesome sir mikey.. the moment you first let them fly in your room like the "mailap" now there bonded with you so much love seeing this bird "mailap" in the first perching with you now.. hope to see yellow back and ruby perching your shoulder... 🥰🥰🥰
I’ve befriended ducks and pheasants (lots of dried mealworms were involved!) and it is a very slow process but so rewarding! Having them eventually hand feed from you and talk to you and even knock on your windows when it’s time to eat 😂 it’s so cool to watch them think and learn to trust.
eeee! So excited to hear about your mysterious Cebu opportunity, Mikey. Also Raq, Edmark and Nica are all looking FAB! 💗 I love seeing the birds flying around. I can't wait until they're all together. Sometimes animals need to figure out that we're big creatures and not just furniture to bite/explore hehe - but that bonding will just continue and they'll see you as a member of the flock like Ligaya did!
Aww I love those birds. I miss my parakeets, someone left the cage open in my porch and they all flew away. They were so beautiful. It has been over 2 yrs. Someday when I can have an aviary, I will get some birds too. You are so good with them and so happy for you. Love and light 💙🙏
Wow what a video Incredible 🤩 I have never interacted with birds, but seeing you bond with yours gave me goosebumps and smiles. I feel I was right there beside you 🥰
Beautiful aviary. I typically put up lace curtains over on my windows so I don't have to worry about them running into the windows. They're nice safe landing places and the birds can see out
FREEEEDOM !!! Wow ! The concures really made up for lost time, eh!? Looks like a parrot-juggling stage act in the making... And what amazing progress with Rojo!! So fantastic to watch : )
You should add some plants all the way at the top to encourage them to explore up there
Great idea!
Yes! A mini garden 🎍🪴+ bbq area 🥩🍢at the roof top.. noice!! 👌🏻
If they don't eat it,monstera would be cool
Ruby really seems to be so attached to you! It is so sweet to see!

I teared up when he landed on you. He finally trusts you. So sweet.
I was having a really bad day, and THIS made me so happy! What a magical moment! The conures are so pretty and smart!
I got so emotional seeing how Ruby interacted with you, and then she let you preen her to top it off. The spirit of Ligaya is in that bird. 🥲❤
🥲😭❤️
It looks like your big tree is recovering from the transplant shock, what a relief
Yes, thank goodness!
Best episode ever. Many happy laughs. I was in the grocery yesterday and there was a dad of triplets at the checkout. The entire time I was checking out I could hear him trying desperately to control his three kids...reminds me of Mikey trying to film AND manage his three toddlers.

Hey Mikey i love the aviari just was wondering why you dont have any branches between the 2 and 3 floor for the birds to perch on so you really use all of the space❤
i love your house.... it's pet friendly💖
So much fun to watch the birds explore. And finally the boy starts to trust you also! Love this!
So adorable to watch you bonding with the Conures. That was intense ♥
Amazing Mikey, happy to see your conures fly and trust you. They're beautiful
I was just thinking man I want a new bird video, and here we are. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
Totally how I imagined the kitchen and it's U shaped counter. Party central with your Cousin Crew!
It’s nice to see you interacting with your new birds ❤
Ps: Interesting fact that I wanted to share about birds is that, the bigger birds can cover more distance with one flight, because they don’t flap their wings so much.
Domt mind the length at all 👍🏻
Can't wait to see Benji, Judy & kids in your beautiful home, Mikey 🙌
Me, too!
Lovely house I enjoy watching your vlog , house , furniture n pets my favorite n interest 😃
OMG the Conures went berserk when you release them out into the Aviary LOL. I expected them to go crazy when you will let them out and I was right.
I KNOW!!! I was mindblown and freaking out the whole time!!!
I was glad to see your friends and spending time there in the mobile high school at home it was so happy when I saw them step through the door it was like as the dog says welcome
Watching your vlog feels both motivational and therapeutic in a way. Love it 💖✨ more blessings to come 🙏
Ooh been waiting for this. I hope they adjust and get along with the napes.
Addendum: that was some adorable chaos.
Mikey you are very natural with the birds...so sweet. Love watching it😘😘😘
How cute was it to see Cocoa when she entered the house go up to RJ & ask, "Uncle, Bless me".
Never did I ever love watching birds until I watched you and all of your birds past and present! Such an amazing sight.
Love watching your videos. The aviary that you have built is amazing. The conures look like they are really going to enjoy flying around in there. Just a thought...maybe the STEP Up command could be used to have the birds perch on you and when you want them down chance the command to STEP DOWN. So they can differentiate between the two commands.
amazing vlog! I ENJOYED EVERYMENT inside the aviary!😍😍😍😍 its like a big dream to me to do the same soon!
Team crimson that was fab to see them out. And to see the male go to u was amazing. Love from uk. Xx
Couldn’t help but smile throughout the one hour you shared with us 🥰 ♥️
so good to see them flying round the avery
Hi mikey and RJ, it's great to see all 3 birds sitting on Mikey's arm, 👍👍
Hey Mikey, I'm really happy for you. Seeing you enjoy your animals and your dream home is great. I know you and RJ have worked hard for this in all of your various projects. I've been wanting to see the birds flying in the aviary too.
Awwwww, this was so good!!!! Everyone has flown in the aviary. Yay!!! 👏👏👏 I was smiling from ear to ear, watching you be so happy, interacting with the birds. ❤ Personally, I LOVE the long vlogs. 🙂
You know the farmhouse is the place to be when you get a blessing of pee from Goddess Miranda 😂 Ah yes, the ant room into a dance studio...bet that's what all the ants and roaches do when you're not filming for AntsCanada!
release! let them have a tour of their mansion nowww 👏😂
Thanks for showing the process of the bird’s target training! All of them did amazing! Great job on them Mikey 😉👍🏻
Love and light 💙🙏
definitely add some higher perches and plants so they can get up high it would be so cool!
Wow what a video Incredible 🤩 I have never interacted with birds, but seeing you bond with yours gave me goosebumps and smiles. I feel I was right there beside you 🥰
They are so cute! Ruby is a feisty one! Rojo will be doing great, he made great steps today.
It was so lovely! They are smart and active❤❤❤.
Beautiful aviary. I typically put up lace curtains over on my windows so I don't have to worry about them running into the windows. They're nice safe landing places and the birds can see out
Watching the birds in the aviary is so calming & relaxing. I like the blue nape conures a bit more.
Regarding the platform of the fountains, you can just make some criss-crossed shallow slats on the cover where the birds can cling on to.
I LOVE AVAIRY ADVENTURES, can't wait for the day to see both cages open!
Gandang Aviary❤️
lagi kitang pinapanuod ❤️
FREEEEDOM !!! Wow ! The concures really made up for lost time, eh!? Looks like a parrot-juggling stage act in the making... And what amazing progress with Rojo!! So fantastic to watch : )
