just to be clear abyss isn't based around wavetables but is instead spectral synthesis pulled from samples
each node originated as a sample, but its spectrum is instead synthesized to save space, this allows you to adjust settings like noise/complexity/straightness/organic
it's not really advertised as a spectral synth, but I often see a lot of confusion around this, people thinking it is granular or wavetable
in some ways the color bar is similar to wavesequencing/wavetable, but the core synthesis engine is done with spectral synthesis

I've seen Databroth using this beast a lot. However do I really need yet another plugin? Yes. Yes I do.

I did not expect Yet Another Synth to inspire curiosity in me, but it did. It promises creating a really wide variety of timbres, I am already imagining extracting those timbres and playing with them

I was very happy with the fm update to abyss, it was lacking in metallic type of sounds. The patch at the end was super nice, it's really a joy to program this synth. The atmospheres it makes are always super polished because the sound palette is is really streamlined for us. Really a dream for ambient producers especially

Invested in this plug-in a couple of months ago and have had a lot of fun creating atmospheric sounds. Like you said, it’s an innovative interface and doesn’t overwhelm you with a plethora of knobs and acronyms. Being new to synthesis and sound design I find this easy to use and I’m able to make decent sounds confidently, which I’m still struggling with using more traditional synthesisers. There isn’t really a learning curve as it’s simple to use…

It's up there as one of the more inovative sound design tools, very cool, we love it!

I love it. It’s where I start most pads that I make these days. It’s almost too easy to come up with usable results.

WOW I may need to add this one. I just started getting into making library music for like film/TV and this came out at a perfect time as I've been expanding for ways to make sound beds and such.

"I believe" that "apparently" this is an excellent video, "but anyway" ; ) . We can use it to create samples and wave forms to use in other more complex synh like Phase Plant.

I bought a handful of synths from Tracktion when they had a big sale on Plugin Boutique, and this was one of them. I was really excited to see you post this video because I love the way you demo plugins. The sounds that you started making from 15:08 - 15:50 have me itching to play around with this more. It's always my favorite part of your videos (kind of like your YT signature I feel) when you start designing a sound with the video sped up but the sound in real time. It's always super exciting and gets my creative juices flowing. Thank you for this amazing content!!
