A Whippet take liberties. Never! Once they're home it's their home and we must accommodate their every whim : ) Miine is almost 2 and has been such a great joy in my life. Great video, your Nellie is gorgeous.
Dogs differ from other pets in how they become an obvious and integral part of the family. We give Nellie as much consideration as any other family member. If she has taken the best place in front of the TV, no one will move her. She can sit there while the rest of us can find other seats. :-)

You should train Nellie on a squawker. This is what Greyhounds are trained on. She will recall if she ever get loose. It is very easy to train her. You can find squawkers online. She is a beauty! The puppy years are the most fun!

Nellie loves the boys, and they adore her. Since we welcomed Nellie to our family, everyone has become much more loving towards each other.

I think Puppies are 'Harder work' but they are great fun...Socialising them &c.
Never put a sight hound a retractable leed or tied rope leed!😢
Jesus Christ never put sighthounds on long roped restraints like that. It's a recipe for disaster.
Whippets should never wear a collar. They can accelerate so fast they can break their neck. And yes it has happened. Always harness only.
