I was thinking a rubber mat would be good or even just like one of those kitchen sink rugs, that have the grip on the bottom and a little cushion for your knees, when you're standing at the sink all day. That dog definitely need something down there for the landing. Tiles are just so slippery. I can't imagine on a paw pad... it would be like if a person was wearing footies with no grippers on the bottom

My dog is old and if his foot slips out he ends up getting hurt people do things to there pets for entertainment idk I'm lucky enough to take my dog to work for the past 13 years and when you spend that much time with a pet you realize how much they mean to you and how alot of people treat there dogs like a toy or for show and entertainment for others . Sad. I think people should have to obtain a license to be able to own a pet because they should have the proper knowledge to care for them as they need to be cared for . I've been drinking a bit don't know if I'm making sense sorry. Just casual drinking not an alcoholic. Lol 😆

A dog is mans Best friend. For everyone else saying put a mat etc. Its called outside i know its a foreign concept nowadays but if you love your dog you do this stuff with them outside.
Hardwood/tile floors are hard on dogs/breeds with hip issues or just old dogs in general. I used to strategically put rugs around the house so they’d have something to help them slow down instead of crashing into the walls, or at the base of the couch so they wouldn’t do the splits jumping down.

My standard poodle has a build similar to this dog. He jumps nearly as far at a tree after squirrels. We used to have a 70 pound one that would jump to our head Heights just to greet us. Very springy and beautiful gait.
Pretty amazing! … But Next time you might want to try it on grass or dirt. The impact of hard porcelain floors on their skinny bones and thing hips bones could contribute to deteriorate them faster than it should.
That was awesome. Idea tho may be lay some carpet down that landing has got to be hard on the fogs hips. Had to put my Doberman down cuz she broke her hips sliding on ice. Super sweet agility

Don’t you just love athleticism in animals? I want saw my cat in the backyard do a jump from a stand still and at least get 5 feet in the air if not more to go after a bird in midflight. It was epic and scary and beautiful and all of that combined.

greyhounds. Are good very agile after all the jump hurdles on rough tracks not to mention the are faster then fast.

Chancing a broken leg and some hefty vet bills , sighthounds have quite thin leg bones , prone to breaking if they land the wrong way .
