With all due respect to him. We can see his opinion on toxicity was inappropriate, we can clearly see he has suffered it so he is seeing it as a mental strength exercise etc etc. Sadly thats leading to the pass on of this toxicity. I think its high time to come over that culture and prevent many aspiring doctors/residents from mental health issues.
Doctors have stockhome syndrome...and sadism in combination.. To teach... Why do we need to be toxic against juniors / weaker... What kind of human being we are... Kisi ko madad karne ke liye pareshan karne ki zarurat hai?.. Imagine medicos even antiragging sqads members can be pro ragging... So Indian education system... How can be improved.. All other things I liked very much in the interview... But no one should be having right to humiliate others.. Whether helping or not helping.
Thankyou for speaking on this sir ! I am following your videos too and those are really very informative and helpful. Requesting you to ask your guests too on the toxicity in their respective branch and their opinions on it.
People who will sleep for 6-7hrs in a week , what mental stability do you expect from them? Not disrespectful to anybody but its sad to see that few Doctors are the biggest enemy of other doctors. In a situation where so many suicides are happening in medical colleges due to toxicity, how can someone normalize this ? Is he literally unaware what is happening around the world or he doesn't wants to see? Someone can survive without food but how can someone survive without sleep? Being able to sleep for 6-7 hrs in 7 days, can you imagine how much inhuman it is? Toxicity is not something to be glorified.
The problem is all Surgical trainees , including me, wish to get as much exposure as possible in Residency. However, that also means our patient load HAS to be high in our hospital. That does make life hectic and toxic for the first 6 months of residency. I don't think this toxicity is a problem with surgeons who NEED this. However the real toxicity that should be done away with is the one where seniors are unprofessional to their juniors. They demand juniors help them with log books , seminars, dropping and picking food etc. These seem benign and minor but as a first year this is very difficult. Also some colleges don't allow hands on till 3rd year. That is ALSO toxic imo. And seniors should always protect juniors. I have lashed out at juniors for not doing something right. But my seniors would always remind me that was ON ME. I should have taught them better. So that culture is important. Jab Galti ho, senior SHOULD take responsibility. And gaali mat do patient ke saamne. Professional raaho. This is all toxicity. Not work.
Plus he told to sleep 7 hrs for good sexual well being while contrary to it sir was looking fine with loosing 10 kgs of weight in a year and sleeping 7-8hrs/week during resudency. 😌
Kudos to him, With no disrespect intended; the second part of the video where he was explaining the toxicity......his viewpoints were shocking....unfortunately because of this type of sad mindset we loose many brilliant doctors too.(
Regardless of how insightful your content is, most of your video titles are just highlighting the financial perks of being a doctor. This might be getting you views but it's misleading, especially for aspirants and mbbs students. Please don't glorify money in healthcare.
Medical professionals deserve all the money in the world like any other professionals. Fucking bullshit cricket players You worship make money in crores and you have no problem and they contribute nothing to society. So don’t complain when we make money as well
He himself is a doctor. He runs neet pg coaching institute which is among top 5 ones....where faculties are doctors His students are doctors....some of their parents are also doctors. Linkedin or other social medial can be useful where one dr might connect with him so that he can increase his fame/patient intake/money So all this can lead to huge network building and thus he get guests easily. But podcasts are worth watching so thanks to him for providing educational content.
WOW, After go’ogling Simmy Krotiel’s latest I noticed it had undergone revisions to add 4 ins. and even more using accelerated growth techniques, after 3 ins. more I feel so huge now, thanks

I faced this in neuroSx residency and quit. I lost 10 kg in 40 days…
