Conflicts of interest are evaluated by activities that may possibly have a conflict that may influence a decision. Mr. Fergus clearly violated the spirit of impartiality.
The latest Liberal Scandal involves The Public Inquiry into Foreign Interference in Federal Electoral Processes and Democratic Institutions and it turns out the Inquiry "... designates the Prime Minister as the appropriate Minister with respect to the commission named in paragraph (a) . "
So after Chairman Justin was briefed multiple times about China's interference in our 2019 and 2021 federal elections , and he nothing about it , he is now the Commissioner investigating that he did nothing about it .
This is the most Corrupt government in Canadian History .

Scheer had the policy book on the rules and regulations regarding what a speaker can and can’t do. So either Ferguson can’t read or just plain refuses to follow the rules because he feels they don’t apply to him.

Singh can't even lead the workers party in line with the values of the NDP considering he didn't stand up for THE WORKERS during the trucker protest and instead helped set the precedent for future authoritarian over reach. He couldn't be doing a worse job of gaining NDP supporters, which should be incredibly easy right now considering how loathed Trudeau is.
At least Pierre speaks of responsibility, uniting the country and tackling the things that are driving this country and its citizens into poverty.

Even when the Committee comes forward with the recommendation that FERGUS should be tossed out, he won't voluntarily resign and will fight any measure to have him removed. Like Trudeau he is a Narcissistic, and as such firmly believes he is above the law and everyone else.

An arbitrator or an adjudicator must be 100% free of any bias! Otherwise they have failed to fulfil their fiduciary duty to both parties and must disqualify themselves before they are asked to by others! The same applies to overly partisan leanings for the Speaker of the House who must be impartial in order to make rulings in the House of Commons!

House Speakers in the UK have to give up their party membership upon being elected to the position. I don't understand why that's not a fundamental requirement for Speakers in Canada, either at the Federal or Provincial level. Partisan politicians will always have an inherent bias towards their own.
That policy makes sense, but I don't believe it changes much in practice.

That whole bit at the end is clearly scripted, the other questions you could hear some emotion and inflection in his voice and then when it came to the last question his voice and answer was almost robotic and pre planned to the letter, Fergus clearly doesn't think he has done anything wrong and that itself is a huge issue. He needs to be removed now and centured.

That’s the clearest sign of self-interest and arrogance which is antithetical to a public servant who is supposed to serve the best interests of their constituents or in the case of the Speaker, Canadians as a whole.

Fergus needs to resign. He is a staunch, entrenched Liberal and always has been. It does absolutely matter his political leanings as he cannot possibly be neutral as Speaker in the House at this point. Actions have consequences and his responses ring hollow. After watching Greg Fergus as the house speaker, I have to wonder how he got the position to begin with. He does not do his job properly and therefore should be booted from his position. There will constantly be issues with Greg Fergus in the House and should be stopped before it gets worse.
