I watched this game from start to finish. Good solid defense from Jeremy Lin. For this game, he guarded Denis Shroder the most, and a couple times on Westbrook. Shroder was handcuffed by Lin when Lin is on the court. Lin only played 15 minutes. If he was assigned to guard Westbrook all the time in this game, no way Westbrook could get 42 points on this game. He only guarded Westbrook a couple of plays and good result too. So for the haters, don't blame on Lin defense that Westbrook got 42 points on this game. For offense, he is ok, fullfill responsibility and not causing bad play or turnover. I saw alot of times his teammates did not pass the ball to him and even he was under the net; he would have make easy point if they pass the ball to him. He was ignored by his teammates.
yea.. i think ibaka and lin have some issues. ibaka was at starting line, but pass the ball to other teammate crossed half court when lin was right infront of his fking face. and blamed lin for a ball where he bounce pass to ibaka but was kicked away by okc player, though having back raptors ball possession.
He can't shoot... that's a pretty big problem guys. I am a big fan but something happened and he can't shoot. He's not finishing as well as before at the rim either. Lin will be a good 15 -25 min guy depending on kyrie and vanfleet. Vanfleet is playing well. Though to play Lin over Vanfleet at this rate.
Among the Raptors, only Lowry shows support for Lin by passing the ball to him. With him out on injury, other teammates did not seem to be passing ball to Lin even when he played forward. This game is an example. Lin would have scored more than he did had the ball been passed to him or they assisted him. So, with no pass Lin had to be contented with playing defense and he did good defense.
I dont think so, his game style isnt really effective at this match.. He lost 3 point shoots for twice And lost 1 Drive.. And he is not at Effective Position to shooting
It will take longer than usual for a new member to gain respect in this type of championship contender team where everyone earns their own pride. Ikaba is a veteran who just lost his starting position and returned from a suspension. It's not surprising if he has an issue with the coach, the franchise, not just on Lin. OKC is a playoff team and winning this game strengthened the team's confidence for the playoffs. Coach played players he trusted the most in this kind of games, which usually are his starters. This explains why Jlin wasn't playing in OT and the 2nd team had lesser mins than usual. As soon as Lin and FVV work out playing with each other, things will be much nicer for Lin and the team in general.
I doubt it. He needed to to a lot more in the previous 12 or so games to convince the coach to give him more minutes and responsibilities on the court. It didn't happen. Lin is now the back up for the back up. When Lowry comes back Lin is just a spare tire.
Conroy you are you are 100% spot on . just ignore alexander the low-iq naysayer. 15 mins on a new team, the 2nd best in the entire league, against OKC, is great. Even more than expected
he's been the most efficient guy in the team guarding Westbrook tonight but too bad he didn't have the mins thou. Lin dont get his stats because raptors isn't a really pick n roll team which he is best at.
I want to see Lin do well and if he wants to have a chance at a decent next contract he would have to do more than currently. But i don't think he will have the chance on this raptors team unless he goes linsanity 2.0. he would have gotten a lot more offers this off season had he still be on a lottery team but i dont have hope that he'll get a decent offer being on this raps team. Hopefully im wrong
Tik Wong Agreed. Late in the 3rd quarter, he didn't even want to touch the ball on offense. There was a play with the shot clock winding down and he got the ball behind the arc and passed it right over to Van Vleet 5 feet away in the corner who was guarded. I don't remember the outcome of that play but they didn't get a good shot. Van Vleet was probably confused as to why Lin passed it to him. Lin didn't want the ball! Today's Lin was a very different Lin than the one who scored 20 points last game and wanted to shoot the ball on every possession in the 4th quarter.
@@traey1775 It's like I said before, that 20 pt game was good to help him get some shooting rhythm back but other than that it was relatively meaningless. Lin needs to be able to shoot well in pressure situations against playoff contenders. Knicks are worst team in the league and Lin score most of his points against the Knick's 2nd unit when Raptors were already blowing them out by 20-30 pts. That's a very low pressure situation. Lin needs to learn to perform under pressure against real opposition. Lin is still in a bad headspace at the moment. It's like a repeat of his Lakers form and mentality all over again.
Of course VanVleet playing this way. He got injured and they brought in Lin to replace him while he was injured. He had no idea whether Lin was gonna over take his spot or not!
yeah all 3 min of him probably . You honestly think the way he is playing right now he is gonna get more min. than vanvleet especially in the playoffs ?
I have been a fan of Lin since he entered the league. Sad to say, this could be his last season in the NBA if he doesn't turn it around. There is little time left to show he isn't a washed up scrub
Speed of Lin, You missed several other AWESOME DEFENSE by Lin on other Thunder players, wide open, then the Speed of Lin got there to disrupt the shots. Offense, No LIN must be love and supported by the whole team and crowd and he MUST have the ball. He needs to get going like any other ISO, he needs to be the main shooter or at least the back up shooter. Anything else or clutch, HE IS NOT POISE. He shakes and panics. He needs a psychiatrist so he won't choke on few shot attempts. Let LIN GUARD the top guard of the opponent.
People just forget that Lin was brought in to fill in FVV while he was injured. Now that FVV is back definitely Lin minutes will be cut and everyone should accept that. But I still think that he will have his part coming off the playoffs. Starting unit will definitely be Lowry/Green/Siakam/Kawhi/Gasol, then second unit FVV/Lin/Powell/OG/Ibaka. Also, it will depends on who they face in the first round to match up. If against the Nets which are guards heavy like DLO, Dinwiddie, Levert, Harris, Lin should have more rotation minutes to guard them. If facing Pistons, then Lin minutes should be less.
@@golfmaniac007 Definitely had hopes but a guy that came to this team in the middle of the season and into a winning team with an establish system, that is kind of to harsh for Lin to succeed right away. I think the coach note down what he can and what he can't do. Then, utilize him when needed in the playoff. I still think Lin can be a Xfactor in couple of those playoff came that will be played
Leon you speak too much logic and reason for people here. They either think Lin is god and should be a starter or that he sucks and should be sent back to G league. Fact is, he's somewhere in the middle, he's an asset that Nurse will use as he sees fit; the game is fluid; his role will vary across time
Tbh Lin has already given a big, big opportunity to prove himself, but he blew it away. Now his teammate patiences have run out, he must accept the fact that it's not their fault that he doesn't get more playing time.
His playstyle doesn't work well with the Raptors. He's a solid pick'n'roll shooter who excels with an athletic big. He's done well with players like Landry Fields, Ed Davis, etc. but he doesn't do well with ISO players.
kcp11 it’s not really about playstyle. Jeremy has not found his shot ever since coming to Toronto. His 3 point shooting has been awful. And since vanvleet is back he prob won’t get much minutes anymore
kcp11 Lin has been given chances with Warriors, Knicks, Rockets, Lakers, Hornets, Nets, Hawks, and now the Raptors. He's been tried many times with all kinds of lineups and players, and yet he can't seem to find the right players to play with him? How about the fact that Lin just isn't good? How about a good player can show he is good without requiring an extremely rare unique situation like what the Knicks gave him under coach Mike DAntoni? Lin has proven he is an average role player who is inconsistent if relied upon. Like any other benched player out there right now who plays garbage minutes. Just because Lin is famous and popular among Asian fans doesn't mean he deserves the same level of accolade toward his basketball performance. He deserves praise for breaking into the league as an Asian and for achieving Linsanity with the Knicks, and maybe for lasting as long as he has in the NBA, but that's it.
Lin did his job. Got in there and gave fred a breather. Real Lin fans, not the trolls should accept his role on the team. As a 3rd string pg, you should be happy he gets any play time at all. Look at OKC, felton got 0 minutes, and he's got better shooting percentages than Lin at 41% 27%
Spot on d h Powel played 16 mins, scored 0. McCaw 4 mins, 0 pts. Anunoby 13 mins, 6 pts. Ibaka 22 mins, 6 pts. Yet everyone is singling out Lin (yes it's because this is a Lin thread). No one has perspective.
@@nofurtherwest3474 True Lin fans will expect Lin to be compared to better players than 2nd and 3rd tier bench warmers like McCaw and Anunoby. Ibaka is a centre so irrelevant to the comparison and besides he has proven himself in this team whereas Lin has had 12 or more games to prove himself in this team and failed with the exception of one good game against the worst team in the league when they had the game already won. Of course Lin nuthuggers will just continue to celebrate such mediocrity without realizing that Lin's contract runs out at the end of this season. It seems Lin nuthuggers not only have zero perspective but they can also be quite arrogant about it too I guess.
@@nofurtherwest3474 Of course he's a backup but he's not even good enough to be the first backup option. He's the 2nd backup option alonside McCaw and Powell. He's not even in VanVleet's league. When his contract runs out at the end of this year he might actually become a starting PG.... in China.
I agreed with you. When Kawhi is on the court, he can generate points consistently on every game for you. He is like Lebron james or Kevin Durant. That is why Raptors are willing to pay him max contract like $40 million per year and he is still not accepting that contract right now.
@@user-tt8zc4ry2b We the Lin fans, know him, and we know he´s not super Star, he´s a smart guy from Harvard, who plays basketball, a role player, he isn´t bad player nor star player. I follow him by his belifs, and his humility. He receives hits on his body and referees don´t call that faults but Jeremy still, playing, show must go on. Its a journeyman who comes nowhere and he has more than 7 years playing at the BEST basketball League of the world.
Lin will still be needed when they have bigger guards on Fred. And he still has an height advantage on guards like TJ McConnell, Bledsoe, Hill, Collison,
Almost everybody watching this channel is a huge fan of Jeremy Lin including myself but it’s time to face it. Jeremy Lin is not better than Fred vanvleet and for sure not better than Lowry. During the playoffs, Lin will not be getting significant minutes or returning to the Raptors next season. It is disgusting for these fans to hate an organization and team that has tried desperately to integrate Jeremy Lin into their system. Stop hating on the Raptors and look forward to what he can accomplish next season.
Alison L nah I’m Viet and always rooting for more Asian players in the league but what is degrading are comments saying the team is being selfish and not trying to involve Lin at all. The Raptors have tried everything they can to help Lin and it’s just not the right fit.
I'm a big Jeremy Lin fan, but he has really blown his golden opportunity with Kyle Lowry going down and Fred Van Fleet out for a few weeks. In this league, a PG must make those 3s. He's shooting like 6 for 38 from 3pt since joining raptors, and that's totally unacceptable in this league. Not only that, but Fred Van Fleet has been playing awesome....this means when playoffs start and the rotations tighten up, there's going be a good chance that there's going to be DNP-CDs for Jeremy Lin. I hope that's not the case, but it wouldn't surprise me at this rate. I think he came to toronto thinking that fred van fleet was going to be out for a few weeks and that he'll get national exposure by playing well in the playoffs. But at this rate, he'll probably get benched during playoffs save for garbage time...this will hurt his marketability for future teams next year. I hope I'm wrong in all this and Jeremy goes bananas during playoffs...I really just hope Jeremy Lin plays in the NBA next year somewhere...
Being a Lin fan is weird. On one hand he introduces you to a bunch of teams you wouldn't think would be fun to watch (Ex. Brooklyn) but on the other hand you really want Lin to find a home somewhere in the NBA and stop him from being tossed around everywhere
Nick Nurse was so right about getting JLin. And trusting him too. In terms of decision making on the floor, jlin is si much better that fvv and lowry. Both fvv and lowry are looking to score whereas jlin always look for a team mate who had a better shot.
Again with the poor 3 point shooting. He's covers distance with his drives but since his injury, lacks explosiveness. Not to mention his shot selection is rather limited. If he plays 20 mins and scores 10 points, maybe drop some dimes and keeps up being +n, maybe get to the FT line more he'll be solid long term role player. BUT man that 3 point shooting is plain bad.
Lin is a clutch player in crunch times.. He's proven it in high school, college and hornets, Houston.. When allowed by his coach.. But sadly lin doesn't fit on this team playing style.. Hope he lights fire in playoffs when rest of raptors flake pressure time except kawhi.
after they pulled Lin off the court at the last 5 mins in the 4th.. raptor only score 6 and couldnt stop thunder scoring 18points to tie at 110-110 from 104-92 after lin sit down.. Lin playing def did make some effect imo.
When you’re left doing mostly defensive highlights on a player, it proves the player just isn’t that good. Lin is not taking a lot of shots because he knows he has trouble making them. He takes them when Raptors are ahead in points, but when they need points he is reluctant. Raptors are not winning the championship and no winning championship team wants an inconsistent player like Lin. Lin never recovered after he left the Knicks. Teams got rid of him for a good reason. Nick Nurse wants him to score too. They would’ve won recent games had he been able to help that way. No team wants an offensive liability just because he can defend.
Im Lins fans but never expect to count on him to win the championship tho , hes back up point guard dude .... btw hes +/- always pretty good even the scoring is poor , Lawry and van fleet r big D holes in playoffs , they need Lins defense and feciliate second unit the most
If you actually watched the game you can see the part where Leonard was pretty pissed on Lin for not making the play he wanted and till that time Leonard doesn't pass to him. I'm not hating, it's what I saw.
If the Raptors meet the Pistons in the first round playoff, I think it will be a nightmare for the Raptors. They can beat the Heats or the Nets easily; but no the Pistons.
True Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) will be intelligent enough to recognize that when it was game-on in the final few minutes he was not needed or trusted and so was subbed out of the game. True Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) saw how he then remained on the bench for the entire OT period too. True Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) understand that if Lowry was playing, Lin would have gotten even less than the 15 minutes playing time he was given in this game. True Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) know that it's all well and good to be happy for Lin being on a finals contending team, praising him for his defense, blaming refs for not giving him favorable calls, blaming the league for racism, or in other words continuing to hug his nuts....But they understand all too well that he has not shown enough in the dozen or so games he has played so far with the Raptors to warrant more minutes and more responsibilities on this team. True Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) know that one good game against the 2nd unit of the worst team in the league, when the game was already won, is not good enough. Perhaps most important of all, true Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) know that he is out of contract at the end of this season. However, neither they nor the nuthuggers know whether he will get a new contract with the Raptors or get a contract with another team next season....Are you a true basketball Lin fan who understands that he is playing NBA basketball? Or are just a nuthugger who doesn't really understand or care about his current descent into utter mediocrity?
A true Lin fan will not assume he's done next season, but WORRY greatly. A true Lin fan acknowledges that he really sucks as a Raptor and feels really bad for his career. A true Lin fan knows that he has to be able to shoot a spot-up three or he's gone in the system. You are just a prick mocking the nuthuggers to exalt yourself. I also hate those nuthuggers who blame everyone else but Lin. But please don't be a prick.
@@retrictumrectus1010 Based on what I have written do you think I assume Lin is done next season? Do you assume I do not worry about this? Do you assume I do not feel bad for his career? If you answered yes to any of those then you are wrong and probably have difficulty comprehending basic English. But who knows and who really cares!... However, you are partly correct about me being a "prick" and "mocking the nuthuggers". But trust me, there is very little exaltation to be had from mocking them. I mean is exaltation really the correct description of the feeling you get when you flush the toilet? Does one exalt oneself when lifting up a rock to clear out all the lower forms of life? Does one exalt oneself when one swats a fly or steps on a roach? Not really! What I do is simply a form of online intellectual pest control... helping to stop the spread of intellectual pests, parasites, and pathogens!
There's no such thing as a true Lin fan. If you see the truth of Lin's mediocre performances, you can't possibly be a fan of his. Lin fans bank on false hope based on a fantasy of a Linsanity repeat, and when they don't see that they blame everybody else from referees to coaches to his teammates to his injuries to his mental blocks, to fill in the blank. The day a Lin fan wakes up and sees what is really happening is the day he or she stops being a fan.
Who cares about Linsanity at least the man is still in the league. Lin plays within the system; not the best asian player to play but I still like him.
His game is pick, roll, drive basket, make plays.. None of this is happening.. His game is not 3 points.. Therefore he doesn't fit this team.. This team is stupid plays and lacks any sort of killer instinct or game plans to win their division.. Ibaka has got to be the stupidest big man out there.. He should be inside batting the boards.. Nope, he's shooting 3 pt bricks.
I wish I could comment during the game. I was yellin' and saying to my wife, "I won't be surprise IF the Thunder rallies and beat them for stupid Nurse TOOK OUT LIN, for LIN IS JUST MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR Westbrooke and basically(AGAIN) HANDCUFFED Schrouder." When the Thunder did, I was yellin' go Thunders, take the 3 SO THE INJUSTICE AGAINST LIN will show IF ANYONE KNOWS BASKETBALL OR ANY SPORT, DEFENSE RULES!!! AND LIN RULED ....On limited MINUTES. But the hotdog-greedy-ISO took over the Thunder system, just like the Raptors did with Leonard when Nurse took out Lin. Back to Leonard's bad shots and offensive foul and the offense became STAGNANT. DUMB NURSE, DUMB COACHES. Either dumb or immoral.
I highly doubt your standard of "doing well" and "playing his role" matches up with what Lin himself or the coach of the Raptors thinks. And it's unlikely to get him a contract on this Raptors team next season. You're the one who has no idea about perspective but I guess it's hard to have perspective when your entire field of vision consists of Lin's crotch region.
@@nofurtherwest3474 Because I support him as an NBA basketball player and want to see him stay in the league playing meaningful minutes for many more years. You should realize that it's hard to have perspective on Lin's situation when your mouth is full of his nuts.
honestly, his limited minutes seem quite justified at this point. he seems more of a liability out there with this team. He seems to do better in a team where he's the best player, but not within a team that's pretty stacked. Maybe Kobe was right about this dudes mental toughness as so far on the raptors, He seems so mentally unsure most of the time he's on the court. I don't even know if this channel needs to exist anymore. great channel for someone who's been consistently bad so far, except for that blow-out game. jlin can't shoot anymore, and he ain't even getting assists. yes his defense might be ok, but it ain't GREAT, and it's really not worth watching just for his few defensive stops.
Lin videos are sustained by his fans who project their hopes on him because they relate to him in racial heritage. That's about it. He is an average role player and gets exposed every time he's on any team. Teams have let him start, and he can't cut it. Linsanity was legit but didn't last because he reverted back to who he has always been. It's been over for Lin for a long time. He's never recovered and will serve as a benched veteran playing a minor role until he signs with China.
Thing is love or hate kobes method but it works and hes right . You cant survive in the nba if you're a pushover and doesnt have that mental toughness . I truly believe kobe believed in lin and gave him tough love ,but lin just took it like its a negative thing and crumbled .
I really don't know what's going on with Lin. His defense is not bad, but he's always got to make up for it from behind cause guys are blowing past him. His offense is just out of sync with others on the court most of the time. There was a play where he was trying to talk with Ibaka after a turnover and Ibaka just kept walking and ignoring him. Hope these guys get some chemistry, but with Lin's scoring deficiency when they need it and the chemistry right now, it's just not good and coaches (and players) are losing faith in him. Let's go Jeremy! God can help but you got to do it.
This is a great team with depth. Lin is just one of their many good players. They also play with a lot of ball movement, so it doesn't stay with one particular player for a long time unless it's Kawhi.
Chris Clements Jeremy Lin is too nice and submissive. He will never step on Vanvleets feet or anyone else. No use of being a fan of his.

15 mins on a new team, the 2nd best in the entire league, against OKC, is great. Even more than expected
@@nofurtherwest3474 Low IQ nuthuggers will praise Lin for taking a successful dump. LOL!
2:05 this is the aggressive play i have been missing from Lin once he gets fired up
he's been the most efficient guy in the team guarding Westbrook tonight but too bad he didn't have the mins thou.
Loving these hjghlight videos. Keep it up!
Van Fleet playing like he has something to prove. Lin needs to have that sense of urgency and fire under him to play better.
Van Fleet missed many 3's shots during crucial times on this game.
Too late! He had 12 or more games with the Raptors to show that but he couldn't.
Folks, don't worry too much about, Jeremy. Just wait for the playoffs. You'll see. :D
Yeah, That's the time bench contribution will show the value
yeah all 3 min of him probably . You honestly think the way he is playing right now he is gonna get more min. than vanvleet especially in the playoffs ?

The raptors has been very patient with Lin.
I have been a fan of Lin since he entered the league. Sad to say, this could be his last season in the NBA if he doesn't turn it around. There is little time left to show he isn't a washed up scrub
Anyone confuse Danny Green with JLin?
I no longer expect Lin to perform well offensively in any games officiated by Tony Brothers. This ref seems to have a hard on for him.
Jesus Christ speed of Lin is quick with the uploads
Speed of lin is the goat
He had plenty of time to prepare given that Lin didn't play in the last 4 mins of the fourth quarter and played none of the OT.
It's sad that Lowry is out but FVV played 25 more mins than Lin.
i think the coach had higher hopes for Lin. like getting points and running the team coming off the bench.
@@DragonPupEclipse How is that sad? Did you really think that Lin is going to replace Lowy or FVV minutes? Lowry and FVV is irreplaceable.
@@kcpham11 He played above average with Harden, he simply doesn't have enough talent to come back from his injuries, its over.
kcp11 it’s not really about playstyle. Jeremy has not found his shot ever since coming to Toronto. His 3 point shooting has been awful. And since vanvleet is back he prob won’t get much minutes anymore
Agree. He had wide open shots but he didn’t shoot it. When he shot it, he missed. He needs to improve his shooting.
kcp11 Lin has been given chances with Warriors, Knicks, Rockets, Lakers, Hornets, Nets, Hawks, and now the Raptors.
Congratulation raptors win again ... Hope to see lin more
Solid game for Lin. We just need 7-10 points with an assist or 2 from him!
Thanks for upload 😄😄😄😎😎
Lin did his job. Got in there and gave fred a breather. Real Lin fans, not the trolls should accept his role on the team. As a 3rd string pg, you should be happy he gets any play time at all. Look at OKC, felton got 0 minutes, and he's got better shooting percentages than Lin at 41% 27%
Hopefully he will still have a job next year with the Raptors. Contract runs out this year. Real Lin fans will expect him to do more.
Spot on d h
Powel played 16 mins, scored 0.
A l e x a n d e r Lin was not brought on to be a starter. He is a backup
@@nofurtherwest3474 Of course he's a backup but he's not even good enough to be the first backup option. He's the 2nd backup option alonside McCaw and Powell. He's not even in VanVleet's league. When his contract runs out at the end of this year he might actually become a starting PG.... in China.
I watch every Raptors game this season. There is only reliable superstar in this team is KAWHI
Qu Huangzhuo wasn't Demar bettar?
Lin is their 2nd superstar but his coach is too dumb & incompetent to know it
I agreed with you. When Kawhi is on the court, he can generate points consistently on every game for you. He is like Lebron james or Kevin Durant. That is why Raptors are willing to pay him max contract like $40 million per year and he is still not accepting that contract right now.

Your comment clearly shows you're no Jlin fan Lmao youre degrading him. Quit lying. Just say you hate him and go 👋

Raptors need to revolve their strategy around Lin to go further in playoff. Let Leonard, Lowry and gasol support him
Alison L nah I’m Viet and always rooting for more Asian players in the league but what is degrading are comments saying the team is being selfish and not trying to involve Lin at all. The Raptors have tried everything they can to help Lin and it’s just not the right fit.
QuackTim lmao alright keep up the pessimism. 👍🏼😏
Why is every Lin's highlight video always have some unrelated cut?
We all know Lin is a role player on this team, but he’s gotta take more shots when he’s open. Maybe be a little more aggressive on offense.
Speed of lin equals speed of van fleet?
Feels like no trust from teammates and lose a partner to do pick and role ability
Yes, I saw that alot of times in this game during his 15 minutes of playing time.
It is partly Lin's own fault. He had about 12 or more games to show the coach he can fit on this team but he didn't achieve enough.
A l e x a n d e r and also the referees are calling no fouls on him, it’s kind hard for him to attack
Ibaka doesn't seem to respect Lin a lot so no pick and role opportunities
@@Matedogswe ibaka doesn't pass whatsoever. you think lin is expecting a pass from ibaka if kawhi isn't?

Jeremy free throws % very good. Keep improving.
Actually his free throws are a bit worse. He is currently 78.6% since joining the Raptors. Before he was 84.5% with the Hawks and 81.5 with the Nets.
Jeremy Lin gotta put more confidence to himself.
Couldnt be more wrong
when did Nurse say this?
@@electrize1718 lmao bronsexual nice early vacation get that hairline fixed while ur at it
I've noticed you've said this on his other games...are you a troll or something???
Again with the poor 3 point shooting. He's covers distance with his drives but since his injury, lacks explosiveness. Not to mention his shot selection is rather limited. If he plays 20 mins and scores 10 points, maybe drop some dimes and keeps up being +n, maybe get to the FT line more he'll be solid long term role player. BUT man that 3 point shooting is plain bad.
Lin has great defense!
Lin is a clutch player in crunch times.. He's proven it in high school, college and hornets, Houston.. When allowed by his coach.. But sadly lin doesn't fit on this team playing style.. Hope he lights fire in playoffs when rest of raptors flake pressure time except kawhi.
Jeremy Lin was probably better off in Atlanta. Hes not getting any minutes in Toronto. I see Lin being on another team next season
I hate this moment for him..
He is better at lose Team, but he will get more minutes to play..
I don't think so , Raptors may bring him a championship ring but Hawks will never get the ring , that's the fact lol
after they pulled Lin off the court at the last 5 mins in the 4th.. raptor only score 6 and couldnt stop thunder scoring 18points to tie at 110-110 from 104-92 after lin sit down..
Im Lins fans but never expect to count on him to win the championship tho , hes back up point guard dude .... btw hes +/- always pretty good even the scoring is poor , Lawry and van fleet r big D holes in playoffs , they need Lins defense and feciliate second unit the most
These are highlights?
Unfortunately, yes!
Lin isn’t small his freaking 6”3 so he got solid defense
If you actually watched the game you can see the part where Leonard was pretty pissed on Lin for not making the play he wanted and till that time Leonard doesn't pass to him. I'm not hating, it's what I saw.
In this game, Lin was not getting the pass he needed from teammates even if he was open for a shot.
Lin’s gotta step up more, it’s the run ‘n gun NBA, playmaking and defense so yesterday. Next: 4,5&6 pt shot
As I predicted, only 6 minutes vs Hornets. Will he get waived, cut or sent to G league?
He's a good defender against smaller point guards. With his built and size he is gonna be a problem for pg's like Kyrie, Trae Young etc
What's wrong by lin, today just played 6 mins?
lin still needs to practice more on his 3 point shot, the defense is not bad
If the Raptors meet the Pistons in the first round playoff, I think it will be a nightmare for the Raptors. They can beat the Heats or the Nets easily; but no the Pistons.
Lin changes shooting form... he used to jump n shoot with knee power, u can see now he got weaker knee n the shot went short.

I mean he did it to himself, keep missing and ppl stop trusting u, I think Fred has hit more 3s in 3-4 games than Lin in a month

True Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) saw how he then remained on the bench for the entire OT period too. True Lin fans (and not nuthuggers) understand that if Lowry was playing, Lin would have gotten even less than the 15 minutes playing time he was given in this game. Lin is doing well. Playing his role. Y'all need some perspective.
I highly doubt your standard of "doing well" and "playing his role" matches up with what Lin himself or the coach of the Raptors thinks. And it's unlikely to get him a contract on this Raptors team next season. You're the one who has no idea about perspective but I guess it's hard to have perspective when your entire field of vision consists of Lin's crotch region.

honestly, his limited minutes seem quite justified at this point. he seems more of a liability out there with this team.

Van Fleet was lost in the last mins as always, he should gave the ball to KL.
Was a big lead and kept shooting and missing 3s... cant always live or die on the 3s

It would be great if they give lin the ball.
This is a great team with depth. Lin is just one of their many good players. They also play with a lot of ball movement, so it doesn't stay with one particular player for a long time unless it's Kawhi.

@@MrMaples1996 Damn nice name. It suits you the best. Fleet choked hard today but let's just forget all that cuz Leonard saved the Raptors. Nurse is just a bad coach cuz he love iso ball. Lin didn't even play last 4 min but then let's blame Lin cuz Fleet choked.
@@DragonPupEclipse Bad Coaches get #2 in the East with over 50 wins,,,yeah what a terrible coach.
@@luisparas612 There was too many Lenoard iso ball, 1 vs 1 basketball, and no ball movement. Lin only played 15 min but he actually played some good defense. Coach does not know how to use him. He just wanted him to dribble the ball down the court and pass to other player so he can just stand on the side . That's not gonna help the team to win games. And you call that a good coach? There was no pick and roll play and game plan. Just stupid hero ball all over again. That's why Thunder came back from the lead. And sure the Raptors won but it was an ugly win.
i think lin must have more confidence
