Looks like you are into some fun now. Its a frustrating procedure. I feel ya. Had others suggest that stuff to me, interested to see how you make out with it.Its never dull Ed. lol Take care of your health first. have a great New Year.
If you have any Army/Navy surplus stores in your area, the old cans of gun bore cleaner is great for freeing stuck pistons. A few years back, the Surplus/ Pawn shop had some WWII cans still in stock, don’t know what was in it, but a friend told me about it , removed some 283 Chevy pistons that were frozen for probably 30 plus years. Just thought I’d share!
@edZILLA64 Well I used it to take rust off the inside of the tank. but I left it on too long and caused the little nipple to rot off but they're also was rest under the liner so the tanks really were trashed I was just trying. U use keep eye on it..this was steel don't know aluminum..use caution
Put it in gear & rock it back & forth. You might have to install the heads with a couple of bolts to keep the cylinders from lifting. A little heat can't hurt either. Good luck
@@rayputman6377 I never thought about that. I've used coke with tin-foil to get rust off of bumpers. I keep that in mind. I'm trying one thing at a time. Thanks for the idea.
I don't know if this will work or not.But couldn't you get a heat gun and heat up around the outside of the cylinders and see if that'll break it loose.
Are you hitting the jugs? Or are you hitting the top of the pistons?Cause if you hidden top pistons, the bottom end might be locked up so bad you can't budge anything
I decided to let it soak till next week. I already pulled the clutch basket and compensator, so i can't rock it back and forth. I'm also going out every day and putting heat on it , a couple times a day.

@@itsmytimeletsgo you to, Ralph. I'm gonna let the penetrating fluids soak for a week.

Thanks, I wonder if gun shops would have it. Might look into it if I don't have any luck with this stuff.
You're making some progress. I wonder how far the rust goes . Have a happy New Year
I'm pretty sure it's just the piston rings have rusted to the cylinder walls. I think the bottom end will be fine. Famous last words. Lol
I have used 45% vinegar
did it work?

Try PB Blaster penetrating oil. Worked on my snowmobile frozen piston.
@@johnkenneally4662 I've got PB Baster, Deep Seep,Brake fluid, and Marvel Mytery oil soaking. Gonna let soak till next week end.
@@johnkenneally4662 how many days did it take to unstick.
@@edZILLA64 couple of days, I believe. Sprayed it in the spark plug holes. It had stuck during storage.
Take er easy Ed 🤘
Try brake fluid ED and let it set should break it loose the way we done it back in the day good luck
I'm going in order of suggestions. I'll put Brake fluid on my list. Thanks. I've also heard ATF trans. fluid and Acetone mixed works.
coca cola will break it loose

Get 1/2 pvc cupplings and use them as spacers and torque the head bolts down and turn it over . No need to put the heads on .
Its easy to put the heads on and take them off. I only use two bolts per head and i just snug the bolts.
I got off jungle site
?
@@edZILLA64 Amazon 😉
Pb blaster
I've used PB Blaster, Marvel Mystery oil,Vinegar, and now this stuff, Evapo-Rust.
I may go back to the Blaster and let it really soak good , then add some heat to it.
@edZILLA64 pb over night, or a little diesel fuel
I don't know if this will work or not.But couldn't you get a heat gun and heat up around the outside of the cylinders and see if that'll break it loose.
i use the heat gun a couple times a day. It may take a couple weeks or a couple months, but I'm not giving up

But what do I know
Take it easy on yourself
I've been beginning to wonder if the bottom end is what is hanging up.. I'm gonna keep trying for 3-4 more days, then go to plan B .
Kerosene
turn it over without the heads on, why all the double work?
Because the cylinders lift up. It only takes a couple minutes to put the heads on, or take them off. I only use two bolts per head and just snug them
@@edZILLA64 Was the bike in a flood?
✌🌝✌
let it soak for a week not a day. hurry up means fuck up. put the bike in gear and gently rock it back and forth.
