PD's comment about how they're the "Power Rangers of Kpop" is really understandable. They create these things that will be memorable to them. I see most people call them "STAYC Girls" instead of STAYC and its mainly because of their tagline. They also make songs that are easy to remember, catchy, yet production wise, is very well done. Also I wanna commend BEP for handling these girls right! He puts a lot of effort and money to them and even fully trust the girls. A very good company with a very good group.
They may have come from a small company but their hardwork and individual personalities really paid it off
BEP said in their trainee days documentary that he wanted to make the girls big and make people think that STAYC is something, and reading all these nice comments, I couldn't be more prouder.

all stayc's title songs have that super emotional melodic core that lowkey reminds me of trot. i think so bad is still my favorite, but that's just my preference. the song is fabulous, even though it's missing 'stayc girls it's going down'. for me it's a solid 10/10 too.

SLAYC GIRLS!! i really enjoyed this song, the only flaw IMO was not having stayc girls its going down! i feel like i was sorta teaser baited, i really wanted stayc to delve into the hyperpop genre because it would've suited them and been so cute! sieuns high notes were amazing and the song was super cute! i wish the bridge was a little longer and that part was in the song more because the bridge's sound is my favorite part with the beat bounce thing but i still really enjoyed the comeback! i also really wish that the chorus was sung? because they have such amazing voices it would've been so cute anyways STAYC GIRLS SLAYED!! the bsides were also really cute!

Honestly, this song was homage to the debut song, they brought back the expressive emotions & sound. And it’s just a perfect song right next to their first title track that I loved so much.

In my opinion, the decision to not include the StayC catchphrase in the intro or even the outro is a good one on BEPs part because it really does not suit the melancholic mood of this song. The catchphrase is very lively and suits So Bad ASAP and Stereotype. It was used on Same Same tho which is a much livelier track in comparison. Run2U may not be an instant hit you need to listen to it more so it grows on you. I feel like the song is a necessary step because they can't always stay on the cutesy concepts as they mature overtime.

we all need to take a moment to absorb the fact of how insanely original stayc has been since second one, and god knows how much I've been waiting for a group like this, to get out of the same sounds kpop has nowadays and make their own bubble with no fear and absolutely pulling it off flawlessly. this song is an easy 10/10 (and people saying its a grower just aren't used to originality 🙈)

Honestly I was scared that I was going to hate run2u when I heard the teasers and the album preview but I’m obsessed! It’s not too noisy or hardcore but got a lot of energy and it’s really fun. I think what makes a song sound like a StayC song is honestly the emotion portrayed in the singing and that box is definitely still hit which isn’t something you usually see in this kind of music. Finally, I always appreciate how StayC always does something interesting with their instrumentals and this song is no exception.

08:25 They actually used their sets really wisely. The hallway, in the beginning, is used again in the flower scene but is lit differently and obviously filled to the rafters with flowers, the main door of the garage scene is actually the same location as the glass dome shot and the subway is in the back of the first major dance scene. Obviously, a whole lot of work still went into it all, but the genius to reuse and build upon pre-existing sets adds a nice kind of continuation and harmony to the overall visual of the video.
Honestly as a Swith, I highly recommend you to listen to "Young Luv" this song is no joke, it deserves a MV.

the deconstructed adidas shoe yoon was wearing is inspired by the original design of cierra boyd, an american fashion designer. there's been tons of celebrities wearing her corsets, and some kpop idols like everglow also had some pieces
The outfits made yoon looked so futuristic n high fashioned.

I think what I like so much about this song, even if it isn't my favorite title track from them (So Bad has not yet been dethroned), is that they sing it with so much pathos. Not to bash any other group, but I find that StayC is unique in that they seem to really get in character behind the mic. They bring a sense of longing and desperation to the vocals that I felt even before knowing what they were actually saying.
I definitely think that has to do with BEP's leadership and production. They really seem to emphasize that in their training and it shows. High Up Entertainment is definitely one to watch for the future

Seeun- showering in love with flowers and wearing white imagining of marriage
Sumin- surrounded by bling because diamonds are a girl bsf
run2u is slowly trying to dethrone asap as my favourite title track. this is their strongest era & mini album. all the songs are over 8/10. just god tier all around.

I agree with you that there’s something about them. I got hooked the moment they got out. Their personalities, beauty, production, song choices, dance, etc… it’s hard to describe but whenever I watch them. I feel clean 🧼 probably cleansed lol I have no idea but it’s just what I feel. Everything feels just right with their movements/dance, voices, hairstyle, fashion choice, and more. All I can say is that they’re different and I can’t pin point why except I feel happy and clean. I know it’s weird lol

If you want to hear "STAYC girls, it's going down" you're going to have to listen to the entire album. It's amazing! The song's too slow for the iconic line to sound good. It needs to be used in a song with a faster tempo, so they added it into a b-side. So calm down a bit people...

Ok here I go, I wasn’t a K-pop fan until 2020, I knew some groups like Twice and Blackpink, but I mostly listened to Indie Pop, Hip-Hop, and Alternative music; then, amidst the Pandemic I started watching and listening to lots of groups, now I’m aware of most girl groups and every release, but Stayc was the one that impressed me the most, the title tacks are just the tip of the iceberg, their whole discography is amazing, exquisitely crafted songs in terms of production and vocals, all the songs are just GOOD music and I think non K-Pop fans would enjoy them, they just need a spark to become Globally successful, they got EVERYTHING, talent, visuals, charisma, more people outside Korea need to know about them.
They took the iconic STAYC GIRL because we already know how STAYC Sounded
I think another aspect that contributes to Stayc appeal as a group is the easier choreography like it reminds me of early twice choreo because while obviously to look like them you need skill but tbh I can just whip out some of their moves while casually listening doing the dishes. Whereas something like black mamba it’s…..
Also it feels like every comeback they get better. Like their dancing, vocals and raps are all improved.

this release is a great start to 2022 for STAYC!!
One of my favorite things about StayC is how unique their sound is.
the actual designer who starter making fashion pieces (corsets) with sneakers is an Afro american Ohio based designer called Cierra Boyd. In a competition she was supposed to make an item without fabric and she made a top with sneakers inspired by a guy on VICE who did a mask with sneakers this was back in 2018 since then slowly ppl started recognizing her ideas

I'm gonna be honest, this is the only reaction video that I finished from start to finish, I don't know if it's the song, STAYC, or you, the PD. But one thing I can tell you, I'm enthusiastically pulled by everything and it just makes my heart warm. This comeback will grow the fandom tenfolds!
I've been watching the mv for unhealthy amount of times this def my favorite group, song and mv of the year. I just love how creative they are even the clothes i love them bc they not just focus on desgner clothes etc etc but doing something esp yoon's costume hahaha

I didn't expect it but am I amazed at how STAYC outdid themselves AGAIN! This may easily be their best M/V, the visuals and shooting is stunning, and the song and entire album are simply ADDICTING. Like woah, besides the missing STAYC GIRLS, IT'S GOING DOWN, this is absolutely flawless to me. So fresh, so fun, so catchy, so STAYC!
Yoon's outfit looks like this protection/shoulder pads that are used in motocross or hockey!

I KNEW you're going to talk about the camera works and MV; it's an absolute BOMB. I was totally blown away with it after the first time seeing it, even big companies seldomly have so many great shots and I'm really glad BEP manages to make it look so rad and pleasing to the eyes.

One thing that really sets stayc apart from other groups in kpop is there passion and hunger for more. They’re no joke, and they want to prove that even though they’re rookies they can absolutely blow the audience away. The emotion behind everything they do is almost tangible.
