You said that you didn't believe the Ice Cream would be that far away... But honestly I think it has to do with the fact that she's upset. I can't speak for all women, but this is actually something I have done. With me, it's usually either Potato Chips or Ice Cream. When my emotions are running on high (like when my Grandma died), I will pour Potato Chips onto a huge plate, or get like two or three servings of Ice Cream in a large bowl, then place the food about an arms length away. Just did a bit off research and found out that the oldest a horse has ever been was 62, and the normal life expectancy for horses is around 30-40. Chimpanzees on the other hand have a life expectancy of 50-60 in captivity. And human has around 79 years. What we can learn from this is that horses, and more specifically ponies have a much shorter life spans than humans. Even when counting in the advances in medicine and magic in equestria. Why is this important? Well, from the data we have gathered we can deduce that ponies probably would need a much shorter basic school system than humans to counter act their shorter lives. Thus we can deduce that the main six are much younger in equestria than we thought. Perhaps their age in there is closer to what we call teenagers. Equestria girls mystery solved.

I thnk that EQG 30 minute episodes spread out thought a season of MLP would be neat, it would allow for a longer period of new content with a shorter period of reruns.

You said that you didn't believe the Ice Cream would be that far away... But honestly I think it has to do with the fact that she's upset. I can't speak for all women, but this is actually something I have done. With me, it's usually either Potato Chips or Ice Cream. When my emotions are running on high (like when my Grandma died), I will pour Potato Chips onto a huge plate, or get like two or three servings of Ice Cream in a large bowl, then place the food about an arms length away. I do this, because I know I shouldn't eat that much junk food, but I can't seem to help myself and keeping the food that far away slows me down a bit... I know it sound weird, but it has happened three times in my life. I'm just glad such upsets in my life are few and far between. If Rarity is doing the same thing, then she was taking this Dance Competition very seriously.

How much fan art is the car wash scene going to inspire? ...not as much as you'd think, apparently. Just did a bit off research and found out that the oldest a horse has ever been was 62, and the normal life expectancy for horses is around 30-40.
Chimpanzees on the other hand have a life expectancy of 50-60 in captivity. And human has around 79 years.
What we can learn from this is that horses, and more specifically ponies have a much shorter life spans than humans. Even when counting in the advances in medicine and magic in equestria.
Why is this important? Well, from the data we have gathered we can deduce that ponies probably would need a much shorter basic school system than humans to counter act their shorter lives. Thus we can deduce that the main six are much younger in equestria than we thought. Perhaps their age in there is closer to what we call teenagers.

But they would still be adult ponies, easily. Equines reach maturity by age 4.
