Great tutorial! Any chance of forcing all the triangles to have a specific shape/dimensions? The approximation to the original surface will be worse, but all triangles will be copies of the same element :)
When splitting them into two groups with the explode tree, it didn't fully work. Some of the circles got packed in with the triangle group and I can't work out how to solve this. Have you ever run into this issue and is there a solution?
My professor send your tutorial to me for my thesis project. But unfourtanetly I don't have 'Cmesh preview' command. Therefore when I click the fold button I can not see the preview. Can you suggest me maybe different command instead of this one , or any trick ? Thank you for your support. Best regards.
1) I have an "error" when connecting the curves in the first step of 'opennest', (.... although they are polylines...), I don't understand why? 2) at the beginning of the second video of this process, it internalizes two components """curves"", but after exploiting the tree, surfaces and not curves emerge, which it then uses.....how did it do that step? ..*)) well, it was not difficult to find them, cooking the surfaces and extracting the curves, but...I don't think that is the process of obtaining those 'curves' components...Can you answer these questions?--- It is quite difficult to always find answers from learngh, when you have a question, does the support work?
@@ParametricHouse Well, t it is possible to use the code generation feature in ChatGet and use it with the Python component in Grasshopper. This is just an example, and the matter needs to search for other things
nice tuto , thanks

How to put numbers on the parts and prepare them for fabrication?
You can use Nest plugin it is super handy for fabrication stuff

I have a proposal for a lesson topic related to ways to benefit from chatgpt with grasshopper. I think this will be useful for your students
Please share your idea with us! ChatGPT is a powerful tool for many things, but I couldn't find any straightforward way to use it in Grasshopper.
