For me, iKON is the best and most talented group in the 3rd generation. They are not idols, but artists. And it breaks my heart that our leader, B.I, was not with them anymore. My only consolation is that B.I came back and is successful on his own. Talent never lies. Forever OT7 ❤❤❤

I'm not gonna lie, losing BI was a big blow to iKON. Being their sole producer meant a big part of their identity left with him. Stupid antis went for meat and unfortunately they got what they wanted. But iKON isn't done. The higher you are the harder you fall but that only means iKON will continue going up. Regardless what happens next, iKON has achieved so much already and all that matters now is their happiness. iKON will remain icons in the industry.

iKON is definitely doing well even though B.I is no longer there to produce songs for them. Why Why Why was such a good song but sadly underrated due to B.I's departure and scandal but it's also sad how a lot of fans thinks that iKON wouldn't do well because B.I left. I know B.I produced almost every iKON songs but that's like saying that all of the members suck at making music

I feel like iKON TV is the best way to really learn iKON, especially when it comes to their personalities individually but also how they interact as a group and their dynamics with one another. Each episode is really fun bc each member chooses a different concept on what they want to do so I hope you're able to check it out once you get the chance!! Loved the reaction. :)
i agree with u tho, this is what i did last week when im trying to stan them, and i easily known and fell in inlove each of the members because of their humors and personalities, and plus their songs unexpectedly fitted my vibe which rlly made me hook on them😭

and FYI: B.I is the lyricist of Blackpink's debut song Whistle. they have the same kind of dance moves and lyrics in iKON's song Freedom.

11:05 it has to be noted that this was held on october 2015. Literally, a month after they debuted yet they managed to sold out all the tickets for such a huge arena AND they served pretty damn good performances that night. Still crazy when i think they were only a month old group when they first held a concert and 3-month old when they held a tour.
Would say BI is one of the best leader, a leader who is multi talented. This is how a leader should be . From his very young age he went through alot but he never gave up , that's what I love about him . Also ikon , the group is one of my fav cause ,I love the relations between them, they are like friends, teasing eachother, playing , mocking hahah but deep inside they all knows eachother weaknesses and strengths 🤍 I miss the old Ikon alot😭
Watching this all over again makes me cry.. iKON is one of my ult groups.. i can really say that theyre one of the most talented bg out there.. i hope people will continue on loving them may it be 6 or 7.. 🫶🏼 wishing them all the best. Cant wait for their comeback and their upcoming concert
They are monster rookie, it's just sad that after their debut they been in japan most of the time for concert tour, they didn't get much promotion in korea, but for me they are the most talented, experience rookie at that time. Also, iKON doesn't have a bad song which is super rare in KPOP. It's sad that the new kpop fans bash them that they flop and not earning for YG but as a YG stan, When BIGBANG is in hiatus, iKON is the money maker in YG doing concert tour in Japan. They are the only "rookie" group that sold out Dome arena in JAPAN.

still don't like yg for giving bobby only 1 damn day to promote his first solo album, that album was amazing. shoot kinda the same with his most recent album which was amazing as well, he had a longer promotion but still ughh they could have done better for him. still waiting on a solo album for june yg!! 😂 but the clip of them laughing at song while he was crying always sends me, haha

I have a love and hate relationship with Love Scenario. It's true that it is their greatest hit, but kinda hated the fact that it overshadowed their other achievements that ppl who didn't know iKON before LS thought they're a 1 h!t w0nder.
Love Scenario Era is not everything for iKON. They were breaking records and breaking prejudice since pre-debut. And here some of those NOT MENTIONED in the Video.
PRE-DEBUT: Aside from Bobby being the youngest and only idol rapper to win SMTM. Where idol rappers are being regarded as fake rappers and B.I with his song being the first SMTM song chart in Melon at #1. Bobby and B.I. participated in writing Born Hater and performing alongside Epik High in MAMA even as trainees! Another performance from Bobby, alone in MAMA as a trainee for winning in SMTM. B.I writing WINNER and BLACKPINK's Debut Songs 'Empty' and 'Whistle'. Hanbin already wrote 2 fan songs at this point, 'Wait for me' asking for their fans to wait a little longer and 'Long Time No See' when they are finally sure they are debuting.
DEBUT before LS: Aside from those mentioned in the video. Their Warm Up Song 'My Type' actually held the record for longest charting idol song in MelOn for 5 YEARS! You've seen KD, and what they said about iKON's songs being a hit is true. iKON has organic listeners that's why their songs are known to the general public (maybe not internationally but in Korea). Rhythm Ta being one of the favorites esp for the aspiring idols, you saw the 4th gen groups reaction to this song in KD. iKON debuted in the year when we didn't know about the need to stream. People just listen to their music just because they want to not because of the charts. Most if not all Songs they've promoted gained WINS in music shows. It's not just a one time thing.
After Love Scenario: Although Love Scenario's power is strong. 'Killing Me' did amazing in charts. I even thought it will surpass Love Scenario but it didn't 😅. Dance break during the chorus being the most popular part. 'Goodbye Road' did really well as well. Both these songs after LS charted really well and had multiple wins in music shows.
There is now a handful of idols nowadays who participates in writing music for their group but you'll rarely see someone who's also credited as the SOLE PRODUCER FOR ALL THEIR GROUP'S ALBUM. ONLY KIM HANBIN... He didn't just produce songs, those songs charted! So despite of him no longer with the group. Mad Respect to B.I!
True. Some haters really thinks that iKON's only hit song is Love Scenario 💀

Yes, it was true at one time that Bobby and June were awkward at one point but they say they’ve gotten over it but they claim that it was because people kept pointing out they were awkward that they became awkward. Lol. DK is the one that likes to tease them the most about it. Though more recently they say it’s June and Chanwoo who are awkward.

Other reactors have said they like it because iKON is really natural in it, as in they don’t fake enthusiasm, they’re honest when they don’t like something, and they only really hold back their real feelings is when swearing at each other. Lol

I discovered Ikon because of B.I's accepting the award in behalf of big bang and sadly I discovered that he is no longer in the group but I still love them anyway. I don't know if I will consider myself unlucky for not knowing them before B.I. left or lucky beacuse I was not able to experienced the most painful part of being ikonic. 😭

Wow B.I making history ever since he's a trainee from having his song "Be I" to be the first Show Me The Money song to chart #1 on Melon and other korean charts to being the first and youngest and I think only idol to win Songwriter of The Year on Melon Music Awards in 2018 for writing the group's mega hit song Love Scenario. He's also the sole album producer of the group and the songs and albums he produced led them to win the Record Production of the Year in Gaon, the first time for a group to win. Damn B.I 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

B.I leaving really impacted them tbh. He was one of the most popular member, one of the two rappers (who were really pushed by YG to be Ikon front men) and also the main producer meaning that the Ikon sound that was so deeply rooted with B.I. left with him too. And ngl it does feel a bit empty without not because the others are not talented, no they are and I love their recent musics too, but because one of Ikon main strength in my opinion was their teamwork and chemistry as 7.
Also because it's important to note, YG has a tendency to have incredibly popular rookie and then put them on hiatus or send them somewhere touring and they lost all their popularity (Winner and Ikon are the perfect example) and have to rebuilt everything. It's a shame because I really think Ikon could have been so much bigger but even when they got a hit with Love Scenario after a very complicated year the company didn't push them at all and so it didn't really help the group in terms of fandom and then B.I. left and I feel like the company gave up on them too.

RJ, thank you for watching this. Yes, its a lot, and you won’t remember, but its an important history that people should know. Now you understand a little what B.I was going through when he was 18, what pressure he was under with the two survival shows, the writing, producing, performing, it was all so much. People who like to judge him have no idea what they are even talking about. It won’t get too much into it, but I wanted to say that much. Also, they were a YG cash cow, sent out on crazy tour schedules to make the company money, while their domestic promotion and fandom were allowed to wither, because YG only cares about money. I’ll hate that company until the day I die. The end of that video is so sweet, tho. Yes, the reason they are still out there fighting for a seat at the K-pop table is for each other, and for iKONICs. Did i cry a few times through out this video..? indeed i did! 😂 It still sucks that B.I is not with Ikon, specially when you see videos like this where you can see how close they were and everything they have been through. It must have been equally as hard for both Ikon and B.I when they had to separate. After everything they went through and then that happened, i would not have been surprised if we ever saw them again. Not because they wouldn't be able to get back up but because i don't think i would be strong enough if it was me.
They really did loose half of Ikon when B.I left and i kind of stopped following them, not because i don't love them but because B.I was my favourite and the whole situation was so sad. It makes me so angry when people don't have empathy for people who struggle mentally. It also makes me so angry that these companies do not take enough care of their own idols! YG literally threw B.I under the buss for Seungri and YG. That was so evil and i can't imagine how B.I must have felt.
Either way, on a lighter note! I did get back into them after i watched Kingdom and i for sure fell back in love even if B.I was not there. I still feel like they all kind of act like him in some way 😂 I am also so happy new people are reacting to them! So thank you for watching this really long video! It was really lovely watching it with you :)
Also, i hope Ikon does not resign with YG and that they would sign with B.I's label! That would be so amazing and it would also show that these haters will never win! I will be crossing my fingers!

Thank you for your reaction. Watching this with you reminds me of some of why I respect and support the group and it's members. There is so much more to their story that wasnt covered but then that would be a hours long movie--LOL. If you have time, please check out W.I.N and mix and match. For me its the best pre debut show everrr. They wereeee tooooooo goood!! GD even said they already good just enjoy the performance. And iKon proof that to us after debut.

For those who hate #BIGBANG or hate, #iKON don't come at me for saying this but iKON is the next BIGBANG!!! For all that they have achieved they will come at par with BB. Talent/character-wise individually they have that. Musicality/discography I mean both are versatile they range from hip-hop, rap, pop, ballad, RnB, trot, and rock cause of the genius GD and Bi. The creativity that they exude in their works from writing/composing, producing, and choreography that is also complemented by their members is just WOW!!! Then that swag both groups have and the live performances or concerts! Both group stage presence is surreal!!!
LOL. Saying this not realizing that BB is a 15yrs old group and iKON is 7yrs old group. I mean let's go back to when BB is a 6yrs old group and let's say 4yrs old iKON? Imagine the success of both groups that's what I'm talking about. Only if there was no biased in handling all yg artist who can imagine where could iKON be now? 😌 I'm happy with their success now but who knows right?
