    Great video! The instructions were a close match for my DW705, with the main difference being the type of connector. After following the video, the replacement appears to work perfectly!

    The cord is secured by I believe is a strain connector in the rear, how do I remove that? thanks!!

    Nice video - BUT - you're not working on a Dewalt circular saw. You're working on a Dewalt miter saw!

      Thanks for pointing that out for us! You're right, he is doing the repair on a miter saw. The power cord is compatible with a circular saw and miter saw so there was a little mix-up with the title!

      Great video- allowed me to see how to repair myself. For a total of about $22, I replaced my power cord. The connectors are readily available at the big hardware stores and the key was ensuring the length of the wires matched up with the original wires. You will need a couple sizes of torque bits and, as the video shows, an impacter makes the job so much easier. Thanks again!
