How does it feel to just a couple weeks ago have been a "nobody" and in the last like 4 weeks with such incredible content now have gotten a SPONSOR?!?!?!?? 100% deserved 😊
Have Usopp go on an adventure fighting massive beasts and instantly winning, like comically overpowered main character status, and at the end reveal it was either a story he’s telling Chopper or a dream.
Zoro's episode in my head is a full adventure. he saves people, emotion beats, takes down a "big bad". Just a full one piece arc condensed down into this episode. When zoro gets back to the StrawHats at the end "Hey zoro, where you been?" "Oh you know, went for a walk"
that would be great! lol, it reminds me of a Golden Girls episode where Sophia did a whole bunch of things like volunteer at a hospital and when the girls ask what she did today she just says she bought an orange.
"Why does it take 19 hours just to open up a treasure chest?!" Guys, don't tell Goofy about the One Piece. Takes over a thousand episodes for that chest.
to add to zoro's part, the controls should also be inverted. like if u go left, zoro would go right. if u go forward, zoro would go back. like it would be freaking funny to see that
Okay, hear me out. Robin's mission would be buying a book. Just buying a book. But as she's doing that, she gets glimpses of everyone else's adventures. She's asking for directions? Jimbe and Luffy are in the background fighting the toddler. She's in the store? She sees Ussop trying to lie his way into a bank with Nami and Chopper watching on in the worst dusguises this side of the Red Line. She's walking back to the Sunny? Zoro pops into existence down the road and disappears again before she can get his attention. There would be little things she could do to help everyone out that just seem like good luck from everyone else's pov, but they never see her outright. It ends with her chilling on the Sunny asking everyone if they had fun today, with everyone coming back ragged as hell and collapsing on deck.
I'd like to imagine brook just gets like...a rhythm game like guitar hero or something where he has to prove how good of a musician he is to some of the locals who doubt his skills
There is actually a smash bros style one piece game that exists, it takes place shortly after the Arlong Park arc iirc. It's an old Arcade game that I've only played because one of the places I've worked at had it, was a decent amount of fun
Honestly just a One Piece MMO that takes place after the main story ends and allows everyone to just fuck around in that well built world would be the best.
@@vlucaexeI remember playing both Gigant Battle games back in the day they were a ton of fun. The Unlimited Cruise games on the Wii were amazing as well.
Hold on a moment... So in World Seeker the devs gave Luffy the ability to parkour, but missed the opportunity to make it freeflowing and use Luffy's established methods of propelling himself... Man, they could've made Luffy swing and zip around like some weird rubbery and less goopy Venom. Also I kind of smile at the idea of Luffy just casually hijacking speeding cars and planes in mid-air because he can and would do it if he wanted to if they existed in the setting.
He shits on the game harder than needed and if you try and play it like Spider-Man you’re going to be upset because it’s clearly not Spider-Man you’re literally shooting your arm up to a specific thing not shooting a web and then you yank yourself towards it and then on top of that they do have specific Spider-Man signs the monkey signs were you can swing around the city like Spider-Man that’s like five signs in one city and then yeah he is right about the fucking marine shooting you just fucking you you’ll be pinned right out of the sky for no reason and if it doesn’t get any better know how to how much you upgrade yourself or how far you got to the game and then on top of that the final bosses ass is you have to look up a fucking walk-through on how to beat him unless you’re actually good at games which I’m not really but
You can propel yourself. Idk why he lied in the video. Also, the gameplay isn’t that bad, he’s over-exaggerating. Once you unlock and level up more of luffy’s abilities, which doesn’t take long, the gameplay actually gets to be pretty fun. It’s a 7/10 game imo. Nothing special, except it seems to be the only One Piece game that doesn’t just rehash the anime’s story, which is nice. Can’t believe I feel the need to defend it but I feel like it gets a bad rep for no good reason.
@@CharlesMartin2013 that’s kinda why I enjoy the game. It isn’t a arena fighter, and focuses on trying to build an adventure game around being Luffy. And tells an original story. It’s a standout among One Piece games for those reasons alone in my opinion.
Super happy you're getting sponsored! Your videos are top tier one piece content and I'm really happy you're getting paid for the effort you're putting into your videos!
That proposed game sounds like so much fun! I especially like the being already lost as Zoro mystery concept A++ Continuing on that note, I really like the thought of buildings actually moving around and/or that Zoro occasionally gets hyperfocused on something in a cutscene or whatnot and then the entire level kinda rotates a bit, or things kinda get switched around. I think it might even work best if that part is entirely from Zoro's pov so you can really mess with how Zoro perceives things. Like, make stuff he thinks unimportant fuzzy, colorless, and out of focus while certain random things that catch his attention are highlighted.
Yeah but you might as well throw playing as multiple characters out the window. That sounds like a monumental task to make a ginormous world, and have a multitude of characters with their own attacks and dialogue and devil fruit shenanigans. Sounds like a breeding ground for bugs. Best keep Luffy as the only playable character and takes some hints from Insomniac Spiderman for flinging yourself around the map
Not necessarily the size of Breath of the wild, but just like a similar way of exploring and fighting enemies and doing tasks. Breath of the wild has bugs, but they're actually pretty cool lol.
Man, it really would be sick if a game went bold and assigned completely different styles of gameplay to each straw hat in self-contained episodes. I dig the tactical heist idea for Nami/Ussop/Chopper, survival horror for Sanji and a mystery adventure for Zoro. Luffy in a GTA-esque setting is too obvious not to do; I'd expect that to be a more substantial undertaking compared with the others. In light of that, I'd suggest Luffy's section to be the 'parent' game that wraps around all the others. Maybe for every hour or so of story progress with Luffy, the other modes are unlocked in sequence, each lasting 2-3 hours on their own. Also, Franky building sim/RTS please.
i picture franky's as like a reverse yakuza game, rather than one where you run around punching things with weird funny minigames every 15 minutes, reverse it where the game is a series of minigames but every once in a while a macho man comes out and franky has to box/suplex him into submission
I feel like when One Piece is finished, we can have an RPG that spans the whole story. A linear storyline with travel between islands that lets you play though the story. It could be the way to get new people to experience the story. Im just saying
@@TheTemporaryLastersa roblox game barely standing around the timeline ( barely ) is somehow your most accurate game? ngl it’s kinda mine too but like damn
@jjasuka What the fuck is it with One Piece fans and shitting on other anime? Just because Dragonball's writing isn't on the same level as OP it doesn't make it mindless
@@jjasuka ye unless u just make a action game or create a new story with more action and maby open world. They should put more effort into world seeker i saw it with great potential with open world and that power thing where u select ur next move i remember the most op move, UFO (not really op but its fun) then they should. Improve the fighting and the movement and more and more its really has great potential
Your idea for a mini-game collection/adventure game is actually fucking fantastic, brings to mind the post-Alabasta filler episodes that I actually really enjoyed. Fun short-stories are really what I would want most out of extra OP content. Your idea for Jinbes story especially was beyond perfect.
For one piece I think the best kind of game for it would be open world because of the type of show it is, but we all know how world seekers was. Hopefully we could try again.
I'm surprised a One Piece game hasn't taken the plunge yet and made a "make your own character/crew, build their powers and go through an original RPG story" kind of game. The world and events are easily vast enough to pull something like this off, and it'd be an absolute hit if it happened.
I love your idea for a game. Serious stories are cool but for a lot of us the main draw to one piece is just the crew and the interactions inside as it grows larger.
I’m gonna be honest, World Seeker is what got me into One Piece. I had not seen a single episode of one piece before playing it. After playing it I thought the characters and world was fun and interesting. Looking back I did get spoiled for a lot of stuff but it in no way reduced he impacted of actually watching/reading One Piece.
@@Slhazzard One Piece pirate warriors has a great story, system, and graphics. The only problem in the gameplay. I played this game for the first time when I was really young, so the simple and easy gameplay was more than enough for me. Button mashing to kill hundreds of people will never get old.
Honestly, not sure why Worldseeker gets so much hate. It’s not amazing but it’s far from awful like a lot of people suggest. I think it’s better than Odyssey because at least it didn’t just rehash the anime’s story and have basic, repetitive gameplay.
Dude, the "episode of jimbei" is such a great writing! xD You nailed the humor of One Piece a million times better than all games combined. ...i loved how they all picked the wrong, but most fitting present. You're great contant creater, man! Keep rewatching your "other POV" videos again and again. Just stay how you are. Much joy!
They need to make a multiplayer one piece game like sea of thieves but way more customization and have servers with only 1 of each devil fruit that way everyone can forge their own adventure instead of being stuck to following a pre-made story
On the One Piece Goofy game a couple of things: Jimbe Sequence- having the instant game over sequence of "Punch Toddler or Luffy?" is a bit much, especially for the first mission. Opening levels should be easing players into controls and mechanics. instead, Have Luffy take off like a quarter of Jimbe's HP in a quick cutscene scrap and then the toddler reveals themselves by taunting Luffy. Afterwards its a chase to catch the Toddler, which takes you to bandit hideout, and Jimbe and Luffy have their own Boss Battles (basically Luffy is in the background fighting a "bandit Lord" 1v1 while you as Jimbe get your own 1v1 with like his second in command.) Sanji- the horror stealth sequence is cool, but it's gonna need an objective. I would say "get off the island" would be the objective, but you know, Plot Reasons, Sanji cannot escape. Also, this is kinda a poor sequence to introduce Sanji, as it shows none of his good traits. So newcomers will most definitely get the wrong impression of Sanji. Team Nami- Stealth is a good bit for this team, but give them some limited fighting capability. Nami can throw hands if necessary. give her some light staff swinging buttons to knock mooks away, and then a charge button that sends out a Cloud to strike the guy with Lightning if you hold it long enough, which would be her real "Damage move". Have some standard mooks around then also Big Guys at various points, like a Pacifista or something that doesn't care about Nami's light attacks and has a long ranged strike that charges much faster than Nami's lightning. making them neigh impossible to 1v1. Zoro- give him a mini-map and objective markers, something similar to FFX, but have them all be entirely wrong, and the objective markers always point back to the start where you first take control of Zoro.
I would enjoy the game you pitched. The jinbe intro works, the sanji horror flash back for intensity and pop scare, the nami heist fused with the Zoro "samurai lost" would be great for a crossover as Nami is bound to encounter a battle, and then capping off with Laffy battle royal would be captivating conclusion to the Zanie adventures and the rest have mini games that could be unlocked, with their own unique strengths or personality leading them through their level. Sounds great
If they do implement the shop bankrolling into another game it should be building up different restaurants. After they open crime syndicate/marine representatives show up to cause trouble, Luffy beats them up, restaurant rewards him with an all you can eat buffet, Luffy bankrupts them, they close down. Luffy gets an upgrade and a new shop opens in the restaurants’ place.
I was going to say ... what about unlimited cruise? they werent Amazing, but they where fun and you could switch characters on the fly. the outfits the charactes wore where pretty great too.
I'm shocked there was never a FighterZ equivalent for One Piece. A genuine fighting game blew away every expectation on what a dragon ball game could be, and would be even crazier for One Piece.
I would like a one piece game to be open world, let me make my own character and pick my crew from the world, and try to become the pirate king. The story would forging itself the further you get and it would be different every play through depending on what route and people you fight.
Lmaooooo Jimbei's episode sounds hilarious! Id love to see what the other straw hats would pick up as their presents. Sanji's gives me cod zombies flashbacks
You needed a sibling at home to make the game fun, my brother and I use to grind on that game, it was so broken. You could spam as much as you want and you had Kuma who could just OHKO anyone at any point
@@czms922my homie used to main TS Luffy and always go G4 and win all the time lol. It used to be an absolute mission to body his time skip Luffy before he could go G4 every time we ran it.
My biggest issue with trying to play a One Piece game is that there isn’t a single one out there that really nails the feelings you should have while playing as Luffy. There’s no reason no reason why I should only be able to use gum-gum rocket on predetermined world elements which are too few and far between, for example.
I had put down one piece years ago, but you've got so much energy and are so hilarious with how you describe everything I'm going to pick it up again. Thanks lol
16:27 "One Piece is genuenly just a really long Loony toons episode." That is possibly the greatest single sentence descriptions I've ever heard for One Piece. Cobngratulations, you've earned my subscription!
Man, an open world game as a pirate crackhead, where you can pick between the crackhead and his crackhead mates. You get hungry every 3 hours and have to win a random fight to get meat. The bigger the opponent, the more meat. You can literally float through the ocean and randomly get attacked by sea beasts, or fast travel to your local crack dealer. There are cheat codes for different Luffy gears, and it gets harder for every gear. You cant literally run up on Kaido in 2nd gear and just get laid out. I'd pay anything for that game.
Been saying this for years, but an open world MMO one piece game would be insane. Imagine you create your own character in the one piece world. You can decide whether they’re a human, cyborg, fish man, giant, etc. You can choose a faction to align with: Pirate, Marine, Revolutionary Army, whatever. You can pick your fighting style, your voice, outfit, and body features. The whole goal is to become the king of the pirates, or the marine admiral if you go down that route, and the whole map is the entire one piece world. You start in either the north south east or west blue and you fight pirates and do quests to level up your character. After you reach a certain level, you’re allowed passage into the grand line. You travel to each of the islands you see in the story, but the islands that get introduced later on in the story will have much stronger enemies compared to the islands at the beginning of the grand line. Along the way, you’ll have a rare chance to find a devil fruit while exploring. The shitty ones are less rare and can be sold for some berries, or eaten if ur desperate. If you find a devil fruit you wanna eat but have already eaten one, there can be kind of a respec mechanic in the game that’ll allow you to get rid of the old fruit in exchange for some other rare item or something. All of the main villains from each island will appear on their respective islands, the straw hat crew will make appearances, and depending on weather you’re a pirate or marine, you can either fight, befriend, or attempt to capture them. Hell if you’re a bounty hunter you can try and get a nice ass chunk of change for capturing their asses All this is to say that with a story as astronomically gigantic and expansive as one piece, we desperately need a game that allows us to be dropped directly into its world.
And I don’t want anyone replying to this comment with roblox one piece games. Yes, they exist and are similar to this idea, but they are some of the most bare bone video game experiences I’ve ever had. I’m talking about a triple A studio taking that formula and actually make it feel like you’re in the one piece world. No hate to the roblox games, I’m sure the developers worked hard on them, but I’ve tried them all and they’re all just fighting waves of roblox enemies to get levels. The ocean exploration part of those games put me to sleep.
@@purquosThose games have the open world feel and some of the rpg elements but the gameplay is dogshit and repetitive. Almost every Roblox anime game follows the same rinse and repeat grind fest gameplay
Luffy: One piece bounty rush Zoro: One piece bounty rush Sanji: One piece bounty rush Nami: One piece bounty rush Robin: One piece bounty rush Franky: One piece bounty rush Brook: One piece bounty rush Jimbei: One piece bounty rush
I enjoyed both World Seeker and Odyssey. I rather liked the traversal in World Seeker. It does take some upgrades to be properly useful and there was a lot of use of the UFO ability. Also ROKKETO! ROKKETO ROKKETO! My biggest difficulty was turning the camera fast enough if anything. Oh and Jeanne is at least an A tier waifu. As for Odyssey, I enjoyed it enough to do all the side quests and everything. I only wish it had some more difficult encounters. If any enemy was weak to Zoro they were already dead.
Unlimited World Red was such a dissapointment when compared to the previous Unlimited titles. Unlimited Cruise 1 and 2 are actually really good, funnily enough, though the gameplay will obviously be dated (Wii title). The story is a bit wacky, but interesting enough. The gameplay is pretty good and the exploration feels fun and actually rewarding, cause the stuff you find is actually useful. You get to play as everyone from the pre timeskip crew. It even has a versus to play as many other characters against friends, even some obscure characters, like Kagara. You should try, if you have a Wii, or WiiU
Actually just started playing Unlimited Cruise 1 a few days ago. Been pleasantly surprised at some of the improvements made from Unlimited Adventure, such as simpler crafting recipes and more easily obtained Royal Jelly. Though the bosses are still kind of bullcrap, what with the instant unavoidable super attacks that remove your lock on and stuff like that.
I actually really like the pirate warriors games lol. I do agree with what you said about them being very mashy but I feel like they have a decent skill ceiling if you wanna go for S ranks and 100% completion. Pirate warriors 3 specifically had a great upgrade and leveling system for the characters and by the time you start getting into the later parts of the dream board and into nightmare mode you'd have to actually learn how to link Kizuna drives with ultimates and keep a combo going to get the points needed for completion and to deal with the tanky late game enemies. I know half of what I'm saying will absolutely not apply to someone who doesn't care about S-ranks and high scores and just wants to finish the mission and have it be done but I think for the players that want a little more pirate warriors 3 and 4 are pretty good muso games
I love to farm/grind so OPPW3 ( on PS ) and OPPW4 ( on PC ) are some of my favorites games of all time. I'm having a lot of fun playing Hybrid form Kaido rn and figuring out the best skills, combos and special moves to use.
Everyone’s making up stories for the remaining straw hat Robin and adding to what Goofy said…but we’re forgetting about the most SUUUUUUUPERRRRRRR Strawhat and the one who makes us all Yohohohohohoo My idea would bring back how Franky used to play the guitar (I miss that so much) and Brook walks in on him. Franky explains that since Brook joined the crew he felt like he can’t get the chance to play anymore because this extremely talented musician is now part. After this the 2 team up to prepare a secret soul king concert for the still loyal fans to his music, feat: THE SUPPPPPERRRR SINGIN MACHINE. The section would just then getting into hykinks by trying to find / setup a venu and also get word out that the concert will be happening.
How about next give us: Water 7/Enis Lobby from Robin’s prospective, or Wano Kuni from Kaido’s prospective. Robin is just done with life, and a crackhead she traveled with for not even a week declares war on EVERYONE. Just to get you back to his ship For Kaido a crackhead with an entire army just crashes your house party, you end up fighting 20 dudes and a dragon, and the Crackhead turns into Buggs Bunny.
is raid shadow legends like a... charity for youtubers that are breaking out? nobody plays that game but they can afford sponsoring everyone. it looks and probably plays like shit (idk haven't tried it lmao) and nobody ever sold it convincingly. I love this, it's like an extremely chaotic force giving money to people who are trying their best on yt just for making the meme live longer. Good for you man, would do the same
There has been 1 story driven game with a large cast of characters that, to me, is the gold standard for big casts: Lord of the Rings - Return of the King. Just some important info for those who have never heard of it: 1. You have multiple storylines, they all intertwine at some point 2. When they intertwine, you can only play as the characters who have reached that point already 3. Some characters are only unlocked when Character X has reached a certain level 4. Your playstyle must be a bit different each playstyle. Following the hobbits, you would prefer stealth in large area's, reaching the end of the level is more important. But Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn you'd prefer a hands on method, their levels are more based on time(keep the gate secured from hordes of orcs for 10 minutes or smth) than reaching the end of a level. 5. You can level up each character based on the exp they gain, aka no cross-leveling(which is important when dealing with seperate stories) 6. You cannot play through a story as someone else, unless that story has already been completed by the intended characters AND the story of the character you want to play as. Like, you'd have to finish Aragon's story AND Gandalf's story if you want to play as Gandalf in Aragorn's story. There is one exception to this case, and that is levels where there are crossovers. If Aragorn and Gandalf share a level, once both stories have reached that point, you can play both points as the other. Now, how does this apply to One Piece? 1. Luffy stays locked untill all characters reach the final level, once he is unlocked, you can to full crackhead mode on any storyline. 2. Playing as Chopper would require stealth, while playing as Zoro would not. 3. It adds a ton of replayability that the other games lack. 4. Which I would add for a bit more hilarity: there is a bounty system, with each level completed, your bounty increases based on how much you get noticed. This means that if you dont want to get noticed, you need a disguise, but the effect of your disguise would depend on your local bounty. 5. To not reach an imbalance, the weaker characters can use utility to progress levels where Sanji and Zoro could brute force their way through. 6. Its Luffy's goal to get the highest bounty possible, so when you unlock the crackhead, you better destroy and defeat everything in sight. The final boss wont accept a fight with Luffy untill his bounty is high enough. The only downside is the game wouldnt be fully free to roam, but honestly, if it were structured like Return of the King, I wouldn't even care about free roam.
There is one ridiculous one piece game I remember on 3DS that I think almost nobody knows about. It was One Piece: Romance Dawn It was a Turn-Base JRPG that I... think I loved? It was stupidly long, way too long, even thought it flat out skipped skypiea, it had like a billion cutscenes because it kept most dialogue and events one to one with the anime and even used some major remastered scenes for boss defeats. It's combat was incredibly unique. You combined up to four moves in a combo and could finish with a major technique, and all of these could be progressively upgraded and changed. Probably not a great game, but I am heavily biased to 80 hour + RPGs
I hope once the anime finishes wano, or perhaps the series ends, we will get the greatest one piece game experience, with all the story and characters and everything. What a dream
Congratulations on getting a sponsor! I need to warn you though, hackers/scammers hide infiltration attempts with sponsor opportunities. Check the name of the email, dont trust any files they send you (get them checked), grammar, whatever it is. They'll take over your channel and shill some crypto scam with it. Very big channels have fallen for these, and small channels are always getting hacked, so take care.
i really like the idea of playing during the timeskip, like imagine the robin one where its her raiding a marine base in a metal gear solid type situation with the revolutionary army on her side, maybe raiding G-5 and running into smokey, just gotta have an episode of the anthology with the marines in focus.
My dream OP game is a single player open world RPG where you select a starting sea and build your own character with background traits and everything. Maybe a few ships to choose from at the beginning and a draw your own jolly roger thing to put up on your sail. Then you sail from island to island with the ability to ask NPC’s if they want to join your crew. Each island can have a few quests or a main conflict you can choose to help them with and depending on your “karma” as a pirate and your actions throughout the individual missions you get unique endings and loot that reflect the choices you made. Preferably with a classless system so if you find a sword and want to become a high level swordsman you spec into sword abilities or if you find a devil fruit you spec into haki or melee.
Lol you would be great at writing a storyboard for one piece filler episodes the game you described didn't have much gameplay but the character interactions? Top tier
There *IS* actual good One Piece games, they're just underrated. Here's a list: - One Piece GBA - One Piece Romance Dawn PSP - One Piece Unlimited World Red - One Piece Super Grand Battle X - One Piece Daikazoku Colisseum Yes despite what he said, I like Unlimited Red. I don't care. Romance Dawn is a kinda hard RPG tho, but it is cool.
Jimbei's mission sounded like a genuinely good filler episode for after wano is wrapped up in the anime. Would be very funny and a good way to make jimbei feel more like a legitimate crew member.
How is One Piece Odyssey not mentioned? It’s a classic JRPG strategy game. Whole accessory system, crafting, exploration. I’m 30hours in and it’s spot on Oda writing even
For Robin's mission it can be like an archeological dig for a ponoglph and the trying to translate it and then it ends up like the ancient Roman's graffiti
To add to your game the 1st chapter ends as Jinbe unviels the presents but we dont see reactions. Each chapter ends with a flashback/forward to the present reactions
I just love hearing you being "then captain Crackhead or whatever got bored of chilling after five minutes and started to punch some people". Please continue being hilarious yourself if you feel like it.
Bro now I really just want to see you finish the list of things Jimbe would get for the Strawhats cause that stuff was hilarious and there are so many others you could do. Like he could think about how Nami really likes treasure and really likes maps land therefore he would think it's justifiable to take some of Nami's money to buy her a fake treasure map for children, but she would never find out because Chopper would end up playing with it. Or he could keep hearing Chopper tell people off for complimenting him but notice how thw littlw man is always talking about his love for Sakura and decide to buy him a very "adult" Sakura Haruno body pillow so that Chopper can carry it around and let everybody know that he's not a person worthy of compliments, but in the end Sanji will see the body pillow, almost explode from nose bleeds, before thanking Jimbei and taking the body pillow into his room. You have to complete the list man, you must!!
i would love a timeskip game. You have a story as well as some „power-up-minigames“ for each strawhat. You can freely switch in between the islands. For Luffy, it‘s a brawler, for Brook some music rpg, Usopp plant collecting, Sanji just like Mario Kart but all are running.
I mean... what anime actually has good games? Not just "good for a game based on an anime", but actual LEGIT GOOD games, i.e. games that can compete with the likes of Zelda and Metal Gear and Resident Evil and such? Dragon Ball? LMAO absolutely not, outside of maybe Dragon Ball FighterZ. I've heard the Golgo 13 game on NES is really good, but you might note that's ON THE NES, a.k.a. 30+ YEARS AGO. There's that, the Capcom Jojo fighting game from the Dreamcast era, and...?
I love your idea for a one piece game 😂 I think theres so much in the world of one piece that you could make the world shine in a few different genres. I think the easiest and most obvious option would be a 3v3 fighting game in the vein of dragonball fighterz. Arcsys could definitely make something amazing in that template. I also think the series would make for a good strategy rpg similar to fire emblem. I think that would do a great job highlighting all the utility and combat synergy the crew brings to different situations. Ship maps in fire emblem are pretty cool so i could see that being a lot of fun. My last idea for a one piece game and the one I would want the most is an action rpg in the vein of monster hunter. I want intense deliberate combat with a variety of different playstyles and options. People in one piece are often so giant i think it would work super well. I want to hunt whitebeard and kaido like elder dragons 😂 just making your own character and setting off to make a name taking down all the greatest pirates would be an amazing time. This was a super long and rambly comment so kudos to you if you read it all 😂 one piece fighterz and one piece pirate hunter, make it happen 😤
They could also frame the pirate hunter game as you making your own bounty hunter. If they wanted to get really wild, the nemesis system from shadow of mordor would be awesome in an open one piece rpg, fucking up different pirate crews and marine battalions to shake up the rankings, make different rivals, power vacuums, etc. Could be pretty sick
This is the first one of your non-chapter videos that hasn’t had me laughing out loud. It is still a very good video and I left a like, but to be honest I’m not as big a fan of this one. I wasn’t even going to give it a like but the second half saved it completely. A series of one piece original stories would fit what I find appealing about your videos much more. Your ability to write compelling one piece stories is pretty amazing.
Funnily enough, in Pirate Warriors 2 the tag action for that game actually did let you use the character that you were partnered up with whenever you built up a full gauge instead of them just tagging in for an assist which I liked a lot more. Honestly as far as Musou games go, I think Pirate Warriors is the only one I unironically enjoy and is about the only One Piece game I consider to be all that good (which is really saying something since Musou's are my least favorite kind of action game). Not sure how this series has gone on for this long and no one up at Namco thought "Hey, you ever play Legend of Zelda Wind Waker? Why don't we just make a One Piece game like that?", the framework is practically already there, they'd just need to one piece it up.
YOU HAVE A SPONSOR! That's amazing! Your channel is growing so fast I love to see it. its only uphill form here. I love your game ideas so much. I would play the shit out of that game.
First : Congrats for the sponsor! Second : Yeah, i played Burning Blood with my friends once and is not good. I think the thing that bothers me the most is the fact that the game is marketed as a Dressrosa game, the menu, the stages, the characters are mostly Dressrosa, and then you play it and is just Marine Ford. About Pirate Warriors 4...I played a lot, got Platinum on my first month but i never touched since because i knew from Launch that would be a abandoned game, You know, like tue other anime games, Nanatsu no Taizai, Tokyo Ghoul, SAO, AOT. Games that launch, get 1 or 2 DLCs (Sometimes they don't get any at all) and are forgotten forever. And i love Treasure Cruise, Bounty Rush and Thousand Storm but mainly because i'm a gacha addicted

And yo content been fye, this level of polish just upped that bih. VERY WELL DESERVED bro. Can't wait to see you meeting everybody we've all watched over the years!
Your game sounds like a good time, tho if I were to ever make a one piece game, I'd make each of them playable, switchable, and have about as unique of playstyles as they could have. Luffy could essentially be a berzerker-type brawler. He has a varying amount of moves, like wide-sweeps and fast machine-gun attacks and single heavy-hitting attacks. And he only loses steam if he stops fighting. He's got solid health that regenerates as he keeps on punching, but importantly his defense is just armor: he don't care about being punched, just that he's doing a lot of punching. Zoro could have the most varied slasher-type fighter, with a large amount of combos that require time and mastery to become incredibly dangerous with. He could have a parry/counter button and have mainly wide-sweeping moves. (also, he should not have a mini-map, bc u can't trust him to find his way around). Sanji could be a glass cannon-type kicker, with incredible mobility and extremely hard-hitting single-target kicks and incredible tracking for the next target, but his health is lower and he's only got a dodge to avoid damage. (also, he would do less damage to female enemies, I wonder why). Nami could be considered less of a strong fighter and more of a mage-type character, with low health but incredible feats of elemental/weather attacks. She could be like an orchestra of the storm, leading clouds of thunder around with her staff that lightning any enemy nearby. Also, she earns more berries if she's on the team for the mission. Chopper could be considered the strongest "true support" character, he's not the most outstanding fighter, but is still solid. And his multiple forms can provide for a vary of good attacks. But his focus is finding people's weaknesses, and reviving the Straw Hats a lot faster than if the others were to do that(bc yeah, these straw hats can be downed, but they would be perma-downed, they wouldn't die if they're downed for too long). I could do all of them, but that wouldn't be neccessary, bc you get the point. But the other point is that the Straw Hats are strong, but they can't solve every situation. Don't use Zoro if you want to traverse the map, bc you'll be confused with no minimap. Don't play Sanji against female enemies, bc he doesn't wanna hurt them. Simply put, you can't just power through the game easily with one straw hat, as the game encourages you to swap between them. But mind you, that's just me, as I really love combat games. Your game still sounds cool and hilarious.
I came in ready to defend Odyssey lmao Glad you liked it, as a huge jrpg fan i was surprised at just how good the battle system was. It’s also the only OP game i have truly enjoyed and wanted more of.

Objectives:
-Find lunch.
-Become pirate king.
Have Usopp go on an adventure fighting massive beasts and instantly winning, like comically overpowered main character status, and at the end reveal it was either a story he’s telling Chopper or a dream.
I love this hahaha
Something like the start of Dragon Age 2 when Varric was lying about Hawk
Zoro's episode in my head is a full adventure. he saves people, emotion beats, takes down a "big bad". Just a full one piece arc condensed down into this episode. When zoro gets back to the StrawHats at the end
"Hey zoro, where you been?"
"Oh you know, went for a walk"
that would be great! lol, it reminds me of a Golden Girls episode where Sophia did a whole bunch of things like volunteer at a hospital and when the girls ask what she did today she just says she bought an orange.
"Why does it take 19 hours just to open up a treasure chest?!"
Guys, don't tell Goofy about the One Piece. Takes over a thousand episodes for that chest.
to add to zoro's part, the controls should also be inverted. like if u go left, zoro would go right. if u go forward, zoro would go back. like it would be freaking funny to see that
I like that you’re just constantly confused 😂
If there was ever an award for most faithful game mechanic as to lore, that would take it.
I mean the games even Jump Force go the extra mile that Sanji won’t fight women. The Zoro bit would get so annoying though.
There should be a mini map exclusively for zoros part and just have it be 100% wrong and random
You should get a minimap where you can mark spots you wanna go to and the path it shows you to get there is just the most confusing shit available
This is 👌

A One Piece MMORPG would be peak if done right.
Or a Smash Bros style One Piece game.
There is actually a smash bros style one piece game that exists, it takes place shortly after the Arlong Park arc iirc. It's an old Arcade game that I've only played because one of the places I've worked at had it, was a decent amount of fun

You can do that actually you just have to unlock it.

That proposed game sounds like so much fun!
I especially like the being already lost as Zoro mystery concept A++
Continuing on that note, I really like the thought of buildings actually moving around and/or that Zoro occasionally gets hyperfocused on something in a cutscene or whatnot and then the entire level kinda rotates a bit, or things kinda get switched around.
I think it might even work best if that part is entirely from Zoro's pov so you can really mess with how Zoro perceives things. Like, make stuff he thinks unimportant fuzzy, colorless, and out of focus while certain random things that catch his attention are highlighted.
One Piece game like Breath of the Wild would be really good. Something you can explore an island with and follow a story line.
Oooo yea that’s a great idea
Yeah but you might as well throw playing as multiple characters out the window. That sounds like a monumental task to make a ginormous world, and have a multitude of characters with their own attacks and dialogue and devil fruit shenanigans.
Sounds like a breeding ground for bugs.

@@3dsmaster537 Didn't Kakarot have multiple characters with a massive world?

I'm surprised a One Piece game hasn't taken the plunge yet and made a "make your own character/crew, build their powers and go through an original RPG story" kind of game. The world and events are easily vast enough to pull something like this off, and it'd be an absolute hit if it happened.
An online rpg game where you can make a crew with others would be a big hit hands down.
THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT
I love your idea for a game. Serious stories are cool but for a lot of us the main draw to one piece is just the crew and the interactions inside as it grows larger.
I’m gonna be honest, World Seeker is what got me into One Piece. I had not seen a single episode of one piece before playing it. After playing it I thought the characters and world was fun and interesting. Looking back I did get spoiled for a lot of stuff but it in no way reduced he impacted of actually watching/reading One Piece.
Same for me but with Pirate Warriors 3. I got Crunchyroll and I got into anime because of that game, starting with One Piece of course
I got to be honest. If I played any of those games before watching the show. I would’ve thought one piece is trash. Especially pirate warriors 3 😂.
@@Slhazzard One Piece pirate warriors has a great story, system, and graphics. The only problem in the gameplay. I played this game for the first time when I was really young, so the simple and easy gameplay was more than enough for me. Button mashing to kill hundreds of people will never get old.

They need to make a multiplayer one piece game like sea of thieves but way more customization and have servers with only 1 of each devil fruit that way everyone can forge their own adventure instead of being stuck to following a pre-made story
Oh shit that would be awesome.
On the One Piece Goofy game a couple of things:
Jimbe Sequence- having the instant game over sequence of "Punch Toddler or Luffy?" is a bit much, especially for the first mission. Opening levels should be easing players into controls and mechanics. instead, Have Luffy take off like a quarter of Jimbe's HP in a quick cutscene scrap and then the toddler reveals themselves by taunting Luffy. Afterwards its a chase to catch the Toddler, which takes you to bandit hideout, and Jimbe and Luffy have their own Boss Battles (basically Luffy is in the background fighting a "bandit Lord" 1v1 while you as Jimbe get your own 1v1 with like his second in command.)
Sanji- the horror stealth sequence is cool, but it's gonna need an objective.
Sounds great
The jinbe present joke is such a clever setup with a 100/10 payout at the end that I'm surprised that it hasn't already been done.

My biggest issue with trying to play a One Piece game is that there isn’t a single one out there that really nails the feelings you should have while playing as Luffy. There’s no reason no reason why I should only be able to use gum-gum rocket on predetermined world elements which are too few and far between, for example.

For all game developers out there. Make this happen!
Hell if you’re a bounty hunter you can try and get a nice ass chunk of change for capturing their asses
All this is to say that with a story as astronomically gigantic and expansive as one piece, we desperately need a game that allows us to be dropped directly into its world.

You should try, if you have a Wii, or WiiU
the UC titles were the best OP games I played so far, so creative and not as easy as PW
I hate when anime games just copy the anime story and don’t do anything else. It’s so lazy 😂
It would be cool if they made a one piece game like dbz breakers where you are a normal citizen trying to survive the events of dressrosa

My idea would bring back how Franky used to play the guitar (I miss that so much) and Brook walks in on him.

I really liked One Piece: Grand Battle as a kid lol.
It isn't bad for what it is,
How about next give us: Water 7/Enis Lobby from Robin’s prospective, or Wano Kuni from Kaido’s prospective.
Robin is just done with life, and a crackhead she traveled with for not even a week declares war on EVERYONE. Just to get you back to his ship
For Kaido a crackhead with an entire army just crashes your house party, you end up fighting 20 dudes and a dragon, and the Crackhead turns into Buggs Bunny.

I love this, it's like an extremely chaotic force giving money to people who are trying their best on yt just for making the meme live longer. Good for you man, would do the same
You know the dream game you wanted is basically Square Enix's Live A Live but if each historical section was for each Straw Hat.
I feel like there should be a minimap, specifically so it can be either screwed up or gone for Zoro’s level.
They have that in Zoro’s episode in One Piece World Seeker, his mini map is blurred
There has been 1 story driven game with a large cast of characters that, to me, is the gold standard for big casts: Lord of the Rings - Return of the King.
Just some important info for those who have never heard of it:
1. You have multiple storylines, they all intertwine at some point
2. When they intertwine, you can only play as the characters who have reached that point already
3. Some characters are only unlocked when Character X has reached a certain level
5. You can level up each character based on the exp they gain, aka no cross-leveling(which is important when dealing with seperate stories)
Unlimited Cruise 1 and 2 for the Wii were the best ones I played imo.
There is one ridiculous one piece game I remember on 3DS that I think almost nobody knows about. It was One Piece: Romance Dawn
It was a Turn-Base JRPG that I... think I loved?
Damn thanks for looking out!!!
They should really make a street fighter like fighter game or a 3d platform-fighting hybrid game.
@SomeCallMeAnto I mean games that take inspiration from fighting games like street fighter or other already established fighting franchises.
@SomeCallMeAnto oh damn, say less👌🏿👍🏿🤘🏿🤌🏿
Came for the Burning Blood roast but stayed for the Sonic Heroes gas.
That Nami/Usopp/Chopper idea sounds amazing
"One Piece is just a really long loony toons episode" The more One Piece goes on, the less and less I can argue with that, lol
The come up is real he professional now
My new favorite channel!!! MORE!!! MOOOOORE!!!!
This man's speech patterns are immaculate!!!
i really like the idea of playing during the timeskip, like imagine the robin one where its her raiding a marine base in a metal gear solid type situation with the revolutionary army on her side, maybe raiding G-5 and running into smokey, just gotta have an episode of the anthology with the marines in focus.
Franky getting the panties instead of brook and actually liking them/planning on wearing them, had me dead lmfao thank you for that
‘Being a crackhead button mashing through enemies is only fun for a few hours’
Oda has proved it’s been fun for 20+
4:40 he was just like we cool? Yea!? But it's garbage😭😂😂😂😂
Lol you would be great at writing a storyboard for one piece filler episodes the game you described didn't have much gameplay but the character interactions? Top tier
The Sanji/Dead space crossover would be hilarious. My Goda 🤣🍿
There *IS* actual good One Piece games, they're just underrated. Here's a list:
- One Piece GBA
- One Piece Romance Dawn PSP
- One Piece Unlimited World Red
- One Piece Super Grand Battle X
- One Piece Daikazoku Colisseum
Yes despite what he said, I like Unlimited Red. I don't care.
Romance Dawn is a kinda hard RPG tho, but it is cool.
Jimbei's mission sounded like a genuinely good filler episode for after wano is wrapped up in the anime. Would be very funny and a good way to make jimbei feel more like a legitimate crew member.
Lets goooo! Our boy got sponsored! Love your videos man!
How is One Piece Odyssey not mentioned? It’s a classic JRPG strategy game. Whole accessory system, crafting, exploration. I’m 30hours in and it’s spot on Oda writing even
For Robin's mission it can be like an archeological dig for a ponoglph and the trying to translate it and then it ends up like the ancient Roman's graffiti
the fly near the cranky poster in the first 10 seconds was hilarious
The image of Luffy relentlessly trying to beat up a toddler because he felt like is absolutely amazing
Petition to make this guy the head of development of one piece games
Cant believe you are already sponsored. The channel growth is insane
i would love a timeskip game.
Goofy getting sponsored yay!
Congratulations my dude..I love your content..that Jinbe bit was hilarious lol.
Our man got his first Ad-Paycheck, LET'S GOOOffy 🥳
Dawg im super proud of you. VERY well deserved 🔥 its amazing some people acknowledging how quick this "rise" is, but youve put in hella work over the years.
I’ve seen a million adds for raid shadow legends but none made me laugh the way this one did, so much enthusiasm
I came in ready to defend Odyssey lmao
Glad you liked it, as a huge jrpg fan i was surprised at just how good the battle system was. It’s also the only OP game i have truly enjoyed and wanted more of.
