This was actually the setup I rocked during the pandemic.

      Oh wow. Crazy coincidence. Lol
My pandemic setup was iron Master dumbbells, rep ab5100 bench, and resistance bands

Not the snode, but 90 pound powerblocks. Similar idea, though.

@@balboa0621 ah sweet. I've never owned a pair of those but I have a friend who has some.

@@RyanTreadaway they are fine. Good enough to get through the pandemic. I would've went with snode or nuobell but they were always out of stock

@@balboa0621 yea. Powerblocks are good and they're fast but they just don't have that same feel in the hand. I want a DB that feels like a pro style dumbbell

Would love to see an updated 2024 version of the Ultimate Small Home gym - money is no option build. I felt this was good but some of the best adjustable benches that stand up like Rogue's manta ray, AB 3.0 or Rep's Blackwing or Ab-5200 2.0 were missing. Also other key equipment even in a small space to get vertical pulls in like the best pull up bars that wouldn't take up too much space.
Interesting to think about how the max pro could add versatility to a space though!

You're right. Those things would be great, with this build, the emphasis was more on the small part than the ultimate part. Lol
I do need to do that update.

Two squat stands and a barbell? Would that be smart?

    • @RyanTreadaway
      @RyanTreadaway  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

That'd definitely be an amazing addition for sure. I was going off the assumption that there's no room for a barbell in this build.

You did not mention the Max Loading Capacity of the Max Pro, if I'm not mistaken it's pretty low certainly not high to do more than isolation so main lifts are moot.

There's 300 lbs of resistance. In my opinion, for the concept of this gym, that's plenty. If you need more resistance than that then you need a proper setup with a barbell and plates.

Really, that high, I thought it was around 60 or 90 lbs. or resistance. If it's 300 lbs. then you should've lead with that as I'm sure most people are thinking what I am but why would influencers care if they sold any or not, the reviewer already received their Free Machine.

@@bobbyhunt3009 you're right, that was an oversight on my part. I didn't realize I left that out.
I disagree with the last part of your comment though. Most of the companies I talk about have affiliate programs. So if I really were in it for myself and didn't care otherwise, it'd be in my best interest to overhype a product so more people buy it and I make money off it.
But I don't overhype or underhype a product. I just give my honest thoughts on the products I test so the viewers of my videos get as unbiased of an opinion as possible.
