Many thanks, this very helpful. To handle high weak forehands is for me on of the most challenging situations in tennis. It's the distance to the ball and, even more important in my case, it's the approach to the shot with a step with the right foot in an open stance. Very helpful, as all of your content!
Great tips. I need to tattoo these to my forearm. I missed a bunch of these the other day 😭😭😭
I wanted this lesson from you years ago! Better late than never 😉
@@cdahl haha glad to hear this helped you. Though, I must say I’ve made this same video about 5 times already. 😉
@@2MinuteTennisyes sir. Just venting cuz I wanted it back in the day lol. I’m an OG fan! From pre IG ban 😁😎
Haha you’re good you’re good I know. And I appreciate you from back in that time. Wow you are a 2MT OG. thanks my friend!!!
In event the ball does not bounce above net height in this situation, do you go into neutral stance and hit the ball or still hit in open stance?
At 0:36, it Almost looked like he was trying to catch the ball with his left arm extended before he hit it with his right hand. Also probably helped him optimize the distance he needed for the right arm.
What you do you think of that mental model, especially for baseball/softball players?
