Awesome reveal! Does your money out include how much you may have spent on the card?
Just the amount spent on grading! We hadn’t quite meticulously started tracking all our spending and a lot of these were picks up across the board from personal rips, opened on the channel, to won in breaks, to single card pickups, but definitely something I’d like to include in the next one!

@@clothesbasket8085 Oh yeah! Was at my local LCS and was one of the guys who had ripped some football for fun. Said he didn't know what it was worth and would sell it to me for the 5 bucks! Definitely appreciated it as stuff like that has just helped build my relationship with those folks and love going down there when I can!

Good video. Tank Dell 8 has nothing to do with packaging. It was in a penny sleeve inside a card saver inside 2 pieces of cardboard inside bubble wrap inside a box. You can play soccer and stomp on that box for 3 days and you will never damage that card. PSA just saw something that you missed or they very rarely sometimes damage the card themselves.
Yeah the Tank Dell 8 we also had another thing we noticed that we completely missed, so definitely going to be more careful and look at things a lot better before submitting. Overall was a fun learning experience!

Oh wow. Was it vintage you sent in? Only seen a 5 or 6 with vintage stuff
@@vhsportscards no all 90's. Griffey and Shaq got 10's. Hulk Masterpieces die cut got a 6 but its a pop 1 with none graded higher. High value card. The only bummer was Jeter Artists Proof which got a 5 and I was hoping for a 8. But hey, I will take two 10's out of 4 cards anyday. Plus 90's is hard to gem 👍🏼😎
That Tank Dell has a giant print line across the front. Hard to miss that.
Yeah there were definitely some more obvious things we missed with our first submission that I think were just due to it being our first one. Looking forward to getting our 2nd back soon to see if we did better!

Nice cards submitted! I know I’m late watching this but once you get the hang of looking at cards you will be getting gem rate of 65% and above. I was nervous my first time and now I’m more comfortable. Don’t get me wrong I still get nervous when the grades are ready cause there’s always that chance of getting less than a 9 unless you already know it’s an 8 or less. Keep it up and good luck in your future submissions. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Yeah we were a lot more careful with our 2nd submission and waiting on it back now. Obviously want all 10s but 9s are good as well. 8 and below with newer cards is definitely hard

You are lucky your grader was in a good mood that day 👍🏼😎. Also remember a 9 is a perfect card. A 9 has no issues. A 10 is a flawless card. Also no issues. 9 and 10 lookwise is same thing. Keep that in mind. Some 10s could have been graded a 9. Some 9s could have been graded a 10.
Haha indeed. Definitely funny that it can come down to ones mood when grading. Yeah the more I learn and research the more you realize there isn't a huge difference between a 9 and a 10, and it's only the price that is the biggest difference.
