No, you do not talk too much. I enjoy the asides, and overall presentation. The dollar values shown are very helpful when making purchasing decisions (as well as convincing my young son that it is near impossible to turn a profit when ripping wax).

Glad you enjoyed 😁 Grading certainly helps offset the cost of opening wax on some boxes. I've been kicking around the idea of doing follow up videos to include grading cards from a box to get an overall view of the financial outcome.

I just returned to the hobby after a decade + hiatus. The variations of product is overwhelming (Mosaic and Absolute [your favorite!] come in hobby, blaster, and mega boxes. Even after researching, I still am not certain what format gives the best odds for inserts, or what formats exclude certain inserts. Are you able to do a primer on that?

Thanks! I'm still new to the game of grading but it's turning into an enjoyable aspect of the hobby. I try and shoot for 60%+ each time. I'd be pumped for anything approaching 80.

It's honestly easy enough. There's plenty of good submission how to videos out there.
I am super nervous to do a PSA submission and not being able to get my money back. Cool to see that they do in fact hand out 10s.
Just have to be meticulous and particular. Look for reasons not to send a card, and you'll do fine. With more expensive cards, you can take more chances.

Last Victor Monopoly PSA10 that I auctioned off only sold for $32.52. Should of waited and sold it next basketball season ☹. You don't talk to much. I enjoy the vids!
Depends on what it is imo. If it's a base sell now. That market is only going to continue to get flooded. Anything SP or serialized best to wait until before the season or hold long term.

I have a beef w PSA they need grade insurance , I look at all my cards under a 50x magnifying glass and a microscope before submitting , I got three 6s on brand new cards , wtf , do you see an issue on their grading lately ?
I've gotten two 6s in the past year that made me scratch my head. A few 8s I thought were at least 9s. Can't say I've had big issues.
What was your card prep like before submission?
I'm generally particular, especially when it comes to lower end cards that have no margin for error. I plan on doing a prep video at some point.
I first look at centering. Most cards don't pass that test. Then, I take a look at the surface, corners, and edges under 3 LED lights. If those check out, I look at all 3 again with a magnifier.
My only prep is painter tape to clean the edges of stray "whiskers" and wipe the surface down with a microfiber.

What do you look for to guess a card is a 10?
At some point, I'll do a video on card selection to card inspection to card prep. I'm looking at centering, corners, edge, and surface. All standard fair. My general attitude on lower end cards is to look for a reason not to send it in. Mid end cards anything more than one minor flaw doesn't get sent. Higher end cards I'll allow two minor flaws.

If you ask me, you dont talk to much i much prefer when people are able to converse rather than just a couple of simple sentences and dead space
